"Everyone is a moon, and has a dark side which he never shows to anybody."

The men of the council leave so only the fellowship is left. Elrond gestures us to sit on the chairs. 'My Lord Elrond' Mithrandir speaks up. 'Is it save to let her go?' Lord Elrond looks at me and his face softens. 'For more than three thousand years you lived under my roof. I see you as my own daughter Eleniel. But the time is come that you shall fulfill your fate' He says as an answer to Mithrandir. The members of my new fellowship look with curiosity. 'She is not your daughter?' Gimli asks. Elrond shakes his head. 'No Master Gimli. She is not'

'But who is she then?' The hobbit whom is slightly fatter than the other three asks. I look to my new friends. 'I am Eleniel Gilrin Eruanna. Daughter of Manwë and Varda-'

'Who?' Pippin interrupts me. I can't help it but laugh. 'My dear boy. Manwë and Varda are Holy beings. They are the rulers of Arda and they are helpers of Eru, the creator of all things' Gandalf explains, looking at me with a smile.

'She is a goddess' The Hobbit who looks like Pippin mutters and looks with wide eyes at me. I look helplessly at Elrond. 'Listen. Eleniel is the daughter of the mightiest creatures Eru ever created. But still she looks like a normal she-elf. That is because she has her own destiny, like all of you. And fate has it that she joins this quest to save Middle Earth. You have a long way before you reach Mount Doom. And in that time you shall know one another, you have to rely on one another. So take your time' Elrond states. The four hobbits look at me with awe and I feel my cheeks turn red. 'M-my Lady' The slightly fatter Hobbit walks towards my chair. 'I am Samwise Gamgee, but you may call me Sam'

'Oi and I am Meriadoc Brandybuck! Or Merry' The one who looks like Pippin shouts. I bow my head lightly. 'Sam, Merry' I look to Frodo and Pippin. Pippin is the first to speak. 'I am Peregrin Took, my lady' I bow my head slightly. 'But I call you Pippin?' I ask with a grin. Pippin smiles. 'Yes My Lady' Again I bow my head slightly. Frodo look at me and he smiles, I can see the dimples and I smile back. 'Boys, no more my Lady please, my name is Eleniel remember?' The four hobbits nod and look at Lord Elrond. 'You may go now' He orders them, like he knew they wanted to go. Quickly they rush out of the room, giggling and whispering as they go. I see that Legolas chuckles.

'A real goddess' Gimli stutters. 'No Master Gimli. I am just normal' He snorts. 'Lassie, nothing is normal around here, trust me' He comes closer and looks me dead in the eye. 'Normally I don't deal with elves, but you Lassie are an exception'

'Thank you Master Gimli' I smile at him and I see he blushes. Then also Gimli is gone. Mithrandir and Elrond are also already gone and now only Aragorn, Legolas and Boromir are still with me. 'Do you know how to fight Eleniel?' Boromir suddenly asks me. He stands up from his chair and walks towards me, he looks at me. 'Do you have any experience in battle? Did you ever kill someone?'

Does he think that I can't fight? 'Boromir, give me a sword and I show you' I hiss irritated by his questions. Boromir raises his brow. 'No, she does not' Legolas stands up quickly and wraps his hand around my wrist. 'We shall see each other in the morning Boromir' And with that Legolas pushes me out of the room, with Aragorn on our heels. 'Don't let your anger be the best of you Eleniel!' Legolas hisses. 'I don't like him either. But he is a member of our fellowship'

'Henion'(I understand) I whisper. 'What was that all about?' Aragorn suddenly speaks up. He was standing in the shadows. I knew he was behind us, but he is just so quiet.

A ranger.

'I shall everything explain later. But do know, even I, do not know everything about my own prophesy' I say defeated. It is true, I have lived here for more than three thousand years but I don't know why my parents send me here.

I even don't remember anymore how they look like and how they are.. Here are they worshipped like Gods. And they are in a certain meaning Gods. But for me they are my own parents. But me, a goddess?

The way the hobbits were looking at me or how Gimli blushed. They all think because they are worshipping the Valar, that I also am one of the Holy beings. Elrond explained everything to me when I first came here. And it is the truth. My Parents and my uncles and aunts or the Valar, are ruling over Middle earth. And when the times are weary they send someone to fix that problem. But this time, I am the fixer. And I have no idea what to do.

Aragorn and Legolas brought me to my room, ordering me to sleep a little. I didn't know that our council lasted a whole day. The sun was already gone and the moon was shining brightly in the sky. 'Naneth' I whisper when I walk towards my balcony. I look to the thousands of stars. 'Please, help me what do!' My voice is just a whisper and I feel the tears burning. 'I don't even remember anymore' I fall on my knees and begin to cry. The wind begins to blow and leaves fly around me. It helps me in a certain way. I never thought about it, but my parents, can they see me?

'Eleniel' His voice startles me. Lord Elrond is standing into my room. Quickly I stand up and walk back inside. I sit down on my bed and kick my flat shoes off. 'I know this is all overwhelming. And I am sorry I didn't explain earlier about the one ring' He says apologizing. He sits down on the bed next to me. 'It is just, how they all acted when they knew I was the daughter of..' I whisper and he takes my hand in his. 'Eleniel, when you came here. You were just matured. A hundred years in a blink of an eye for an Elf! Your Parents had prayed for you and you were born, out of flesh. You must know that is not normal, because the Valar are created by Eru' I nod. I know this side of my own story. 'But when the other Valar came with gifts, the Dark Lord Melkor appeared too. And instead of a beautiful gift, he gave you your own prophesy'

'Melkor?' I mutter. 'Yes. He was all together evil and because the Valar are pure beings, they do not know evil. So do you. But his gift was that you shall know sorrow and pain and that you shall die by the hand of one of his followers'

'What!' I cry out. No.. Elrond squeezes my hand. 'But, Melkor gave you a chance of life. Only a king without a crown can save you from your doom'

What..

Great.

'And how do I find this king?' Elrond chuckles. 'You don't' With that he kisses my forehead and leaves. I sigh and stand up. I start to undress myself. I put my headpiece on my toilet table and my dress in my wardrobe. I put my nightgown on and crawl in bed. Tomorrow, I shall go outside, alone, for the first time in three thousand years.

Alone! No guards, no buts or maybe's. Whenever I was going outside the gates of Imladris, there were a dozen of guards to protect me. Also just a few Elves know I am here. Galadriel and Elrond thought it would be better. And I begin to understand why. Elves who knew I was here, the daughter of the helpers of Eru. The Valar. They had worshipped me, like they worship my parents. I shiver by the thought of it. I can't imagine. I feel nothing like a Holy being. Should I feel something?

And why do I question this now? I have been here for so long and now I start to wonder. Maybe because my fate is coming closer? My thought are bringing me into a dreamless sleep.

The next morning I am awoken by Legolas, knocking on my wooden door. 'Eleniel! Echuio!'(Wake up!) He yells. I turn around, facing my balcony doors. The light of dawn shines into my eyes. I am late! I fly out of bed and start putting my clothes on. A black legging, a dark blue tunic with a black corset around my waist to support my breast. My dark blue cloak and black boots. My little black leather backpack and my quiver and bow. I look around my room if I forgot something. Again a knock. 'Eleniel! Edílel'(Are you finished?)

'Sevin hûr!'(I am ready!' I shout back. I rush to the door and open it. Legolas starts to laugh. Are you going like this?'

What?

'What do you mean?' I ask a little insulted. 'Your hair' Legolas chuckles. I walk fast to my toilet table and look into the mirror. He is right, my ebony hair looks like someone blow it up. Quickly I grab a brush and comb it. When that is done I braid my hair very tight so it stays this way in every situation, I hope. I walk back to Legolas, he hands me my sword and the sheath that goes with it. 'Sevin dhâf?'(may I?)
'Of course' and he hangs the belt with the sheath around my waist so that my sword hangs on the side of my body. 'Hannon le' I whisper, feeling a knot beginning to form into my chest. Nervousness.

Together with Legolas we walk towards the courtyard. Elves appear from around everywhere. 'They want to see us go' Legolas whispers. I nod and quicken my pace. The others are waiting by the gate, ten of us are going on a journey that shall define the future of Middle Earth. Next to Sam stands a little pony, carrying some of our stuff. Legolas and I join our group and face Elrond and the Elves of Imladris. Elves who never knew I was here look at me in curiosity. I see the Lady Arwen standing behind her father, looking at me. She smiles a little, I return to gesture. Arwen and I where close but when she was going to live with her Grandmother in Lothlórien, our friendship faded. But now, I know we shall always be friends.

'The Ring-bearer is setting out on the Quest of Mount Doom' Elrond announces. 'On you who travel with him, no oath nor bond is laid to go further that you will. Farewell. Hold to your purpose. May the blessing of Elves and Men and all Free Folk go with you' Elrond says with a heavy voice.

'The Fellowship awaits the Ring-bearer' Gandalf speaks up. Frodo timidly makes his way to the head of our group. 'Mordor, Gandalf, is it left or right?' I hear him ask Gandalf quietly. Gandalf looks ahead. 'Left' he answers.

So we shall go left.
