(The years have been peaceful for Darla and June. Since returning to a normal day and going to school. Darla has been trying to work on controlling her super strength. While making sure not to use any of her powers. It has been a hard struggle during her years of school as a Seventeen-year-old. Her adoptive mother June had gained another promotion while working at their local hospital. Throughout their life, June was able to gain to position of manager. This allowed her to spend more time with Daral than she had originally when she first got the job. However, during this attempt at a normal life, the mother and daughter group got caught in a war that had traveled to Earth)

" (Walks through the hallways on her way out the school door. Only to stop after spotting something that always annoys her, the school bully Vince picking on her friend Rafiel). Always the same thing with him. This guy seriously needs to get a better tone. (Walks over to Vince and then grabs his left arm that was about to swing at Rafiel with her right hand). Ok Vince, that's enough for today. Don't you have something better to do than bully Raf, again? Your tone is cracking Vince, find something else to waste other people's time." Said Darla as she lightly shoved Vince away from Rafiel. " Must you ruin my fun every time Darby? These Geeks are lower than us and yet you keep standing with them. Why don't you be like Sierra and come join the cool kids?" Said Vince.

" Ok one, ew no, me and Sierra don't see eye to eye to eye for that same reason. She focuses on how a person looks on the outside and doesn't give everyone the time of day. That goes especially for people like Raf and our heavy metal classmate Miko.  I on the other hand, acknowledge people like Rafiel and Miko, wanting to get to know them and be friends with them. I pay attention to everybody Vince. Not just the ones I think would raise my school status. Besides you pick on people that have done nothing to you or have anything against you. " Said Darla. " (Sigh and then motions for his gang to leave. Then watches as they walk away, before turning to look at Darla). Fair point Darby, which is why I respect you. We'll leave him alone from now on since you're right. It's no fun picking on people like short stack here." Said Vince as he walked away. 

" (Kneels down toward Raff and pats him on the head). You ok Raf, he didn't hurt you, did he?" Asked Darla. " No, I'm ok. Thanks again Darla, you really saved me there." Said Rafiel. " (Smiles and then stands back up). No problem, I just don't like to see bullies picking on other people. Now come on, the gang is waiting for us outside and I need to get to New York. The space shuttle that my mom is flying in on its first trip around the Earth is making its final return tonight." Said Darla as she and Raf headed outside to see their friend Miko and three vehicles waiting outside for them.

(Thirty minutes later)

"So Darla, are you excited to see your mom returning home soon?" Asked Darla's dark blue motorcycle as it transformed into a slim feminine metal form once Darla had hopped off. Miko and Rafiel's respective rides transformed into larger male-like metal forms, once Rafiel and Miko disembarked from their driver seats. " Yeah, I can't wait to see what she thinks about the new shuttle. I was still surprised that she was even picked as one of the first twenty people to be flown in the shuttle.  (Looks over at a robot white and red with a red cross symbol on his shoulders). Hey, Ratchet. Can I get that ground bridge to New York, please? My mom told me before she left that the shuttle would be landing at the airport over there." Said Daral as a light greenish/blue portal opened next to her. 

" To think that your kind would excel this much in your human history is astonishing. Star Industries and Kane Enterprises have done your society wonders. To be able to build a shuttle of the magnitude that they did, Is unbelievable." Said Ratchet. " I know right, well. Catch you guys in a bit." Said Darla as she ran through the ground bridge that took her to New York.

(Once arriving in New York, Darla quickly made her to the house that June had bought for them. For the next time, they visited New York. There she stayed and made sure things were how they left it. Once she knew that everything was ok. She decided to take a nap for a little. Knowing that her mother's shuttle wouldn't be making its return trip till late at night.

(Later that night, while Darla was sleeping, Tragedy had struck)

" (Slowly wakes up to find that the TV is still on but then notices the news is currently on). Hu, I wonder what's going on." Said Darla as she raised the volume. "  If you're just turning on your TV to this news broadcast, shorty on its return flight, Star Industries shuttle 6041 during its round trip across the globe. Is now experiencing some altitude problems. The pilots seem to be trying to keep the shuttle in the air after a major engine failure." Said a female News reporter. 

" Wait did she say Star Industries? MOM! ( Quickly runs outside to the backyard and then uses her X-ray vision to see through the tall buildings in the nearby city then spots the shuttle with one of its engines in its wings on fire. Soaring through the air as it tried to stay in the sky. Then looks closer to see June in her seat and checks on the person sitting in the chair in front of her. Thanks to the seats being desights to fit a table for four in between the four seats ). There you are." Said Darla as she ran outside through the back alley.

 ( As Darla continued to run down the back alley. She started jumping every ten steps to try and give herself a boost. It wasn't until the fourth jump that she quickly shot off into the sky. As she continued to fly through through the sky. She began to get closer and closer to the shuttle until she was flying right under it. She watched it fly overhead for a couple of seconds and then flew out of the shuttle. As for June, she was holding onto the armrest as tightly as she could. While listening to one of the pilots say that the shuttle's second wing engine thruster was lost. Outside the shuttle, Darla was quickly gaining on the shuttle, she even flew through one of the wing engines as it came off the shuttle. She then grabbed onto one of the wings and tried to help it level out from that side. Inside, June was worried if she'd ever see her daughter again. She took a look out ide her wing window to check the damage. Only look in shock after spotting Darla holding onto the wing. Back outside, Darla quickly flew under the shuttle and used both of her hands to push up against the shuttle as she flew upside down to level off the shuttle )

" ( Looks forward to see where she's going. Only to spot the bridge up ahead). ARE YOU KIDDING ME! ( Turns her body right side up and then grips the shuttle tightly as she angles the shuttle so that it can fly through the large enough gap in the bridge. Once through, she flies the shuttle toward the water and then lets it go once it safely lands in the water.

( Inside the Shuttle, June looks out her window again to see if Darla was ok. She then watches as Darla climbs up onto the shuttle's wing and then stands on top of the wing while a chopper's searchlight shines on her. Overhearing people gasp in shock and surprise in the process. Outside the shuttle, Darla smiles at what she has just accomplished. She then looked through the passenger window to see  June who was smiling and nodding at her.  Daral then gave June a smile and a two-finger salute. Before quickly flying off into the sky.

(  Meanwhile, up in Olympus)    

" ( Smiles after watching what Darla had done. Then looks at  Athena, Hestia, and Hera). Well, I'd say that she did an excellent job." Said Artemis. " Indeed, which is why this will fit her perfectly. ( Holds up a box and then uses her power to send it to Darla and June's house). Make a better world for your people Dar-EL." Said  Hestia with a smile. " I'll have Olympia and Jupiter keep an eye out for her. They can even help with her training on fighting people as strong as her." Said Athena. Have Jupiter continue her role as a villain. We need someone to keep an eye on Circe." Said Hera.

( The next day at Autobot base. The humans and the autobots were rewatching the live news broadcast from yesterday. Each of them was wondering who this new superhero was)

" For a first-time heroic, she did a great job. I'm surprised that there wasn't any major damage to the city or to the shuttle itself." Said a pink and silver female autobot. " I have to agree with you on that sis.  But what made her show herself now? Why not show herself when the rest of them did?" Asked an aqua blue-colored female autobot. " Whatever the case Chromia, I'm just glad that June's flight safely landed and that no one was hurt. I'm sure Darla will be happy to learn that her mother is safe. Hey Arcee, What do you think that humans will start calling this new hero?" Asked a large green Autobot. " I don't know Bulkhead, I just know that I owe her one for saving June." Said Arcee.

( Meanwhile at the Darby Residence) 

" ( jumps up in joy at what she had just done last night. Then hears the garage door open as  June walks into the house). Hey Mom, can you believe it?" Asked  Darla as she stopped jumping. " ( Quickly gives Dara a tight hug and then smiles). My baby girl just saved her own mother's life and the lives of so many people. ( Let's Darla go and then patted her on the shoulders). I am so proud of you, and I know your mothers would be too. That young woman sure made it seem like they were up in the world. Now, you are as well." Said June as they saw a bright flash on the kitchen table and then looked at where the flash came from to see a box in its place.

 " Hu, I wonder who sent this. I know that lady said that my parents were friends with the gods. So maybe this is from them. ( Opens the box to see a red, white, and yellow lined outfit with a large red S  in the center. Then finds a note under the outfit). Hmm, I wonder who it's from. ( Reads the letter). Dear Darla, I am the Goddes Hestia. Myself and three others have been keeping a close eye on you. We were proud to see what you had accomplished yesterday. So, as a congratulations. We decided to give you this code of arms outfit. One that is similar to the one that one of your mothers used to wear. With a little twist of our own. Wear it well, Supergirl, and good luck. We will be watching you closely."Said  Darla as she read the letter. " It seems the gods have decided to give you something special. Go ahead and put it on, Supergirl. You can wear it as you fly us back home." Said June as she watched Darla dash off into the closest bathroom. 

( After seven minutes, Darla comes out in her new Supergirl outfit )

" ( Picks up June in bridal carry after the two of them walked outside to the backyard). Are you ready Mom? ( Looks at  June who nodded her head). Ok then, LET'S GO!" Said  Darla as she quickly flew off into the sky while holding her adoptive mother tightly.
