Lara's POV: Being the daughter of the King's Adviser and the top scientist in Atlantis is difficult, VERY difficult. That is my Father's title sadly. But little did I know that my life was about to change dramatically.

"Lara! Come on we have training on the surface!" My father calls. I pretend that I didn't hear him and go to play with the dolphins. "LARA ANNABETH VULKO DON'T YOU DARE IGNORE ME!" Dad barks. I snort finding it amusing when father gets frustrated.  "Or what? What will you do father? Force me to Atlanta's sorcery class again?  Ooooh scary!" I say sarcastically. I quickly swim away and hangout with my fishy friends.

Nuidis Vulko's POV:
I don't know what I am going to do with that girl. But I swim to the surface anyway to meet up with King Orin and Kaldur'ahm. Once I get there I see them warming up.  "I'm sorry my king, my daughter is being stubborn and will not be joining us." I tell him. "Shame, what are we going to do with her? She shouldn't be skipping out on training." He says. But out of the blue Queen Mera and Atlanta come up behind me. "Perhaps joining the team may do the trick. Besides, it'd make her have to go to training with him. Especially when the mantle of the Aquaman is going to be passed down, the new aquaman would need a partner." Mera hints.
"However you'd need to get the parents to agree with this." I tell them.
"We already have. Besides they did say yes and Kaldur agreed to this as well." Atlanta says. "Then I shall break the news to my daughter once training it over." I reply pulling out my staff. Kaldur and I spar for a while. "I don't know how you will get through to her, she is quite stubborn." I tell him. "Don't worry I will find a way. Besides a few sparing sessions may help." He tells me.
