Chapter 63

Narrator's pov

-

"What?" Aelia asked as Luna stepped away from her body

"I said no" Luna smirked, Aelia rolled her eyes

Luna's eyes finally faded back to normal and her powers slipped from Aelia's grasp. The blonde was free from her hold and she brought her wrists together, rubbing them slightly

Luna noticed the girl holding her wrist and furrowed her brows before walking over to her. She took the girls wrist in her hands and brought it to her chest

"Did I hurt you? I'm sorry" Luna whispered as she placed soft kisses on Aelia's wrist

The blonde's eyes lit up brighter than the stars in the midnight as she stared at her girlfriend before her. A smile slowly made its way onto her face, the kind of smile that showed others how much you appreciated them.

It amazed Aelia how Luna could go from a sinister demon to being the sweetest person on earth.

She chuckled to herself when Luna's thumbs rubbed circles on her wrist.

"I'm okay, trust me" She giggled

"You sure? Because I could fi-"

"Shh, I'm okay" Aelia cut her off with a smile

Their eyes locked under the dim lights of the chandelier in their hotel room. A smile reached both of their pale cheeks and turned a slight red of pink.
Luna's eyes were the kind of green that mint ice cream got jealous of.

The kind of green that distracted you from everything around. Her eyes were the kind of green that gets noticed even when you can't see them because her eyes showed straight through to her personality. That happy, light, noticeable green is the variety she had.

There is something about that gaze of hers that Aelia would never find in another person, another soul. As if in that moment their souls had made a bridge

There was always something special about their silent moments they shared. Just staring into each other's eyes told a story of a thousand words. It was a moment they always looked forward to. They didn't need words, just a simple glance of their green eyes that felt like it lasted for an eternity

They couldn't keep their hands off each other, even if it was a single holding of hands. They just couldn't. They had a need to always touch, a need to always be near each other.

There was always a sexual chemistry between them from the day they touched. It lead them to mind blowing orgams and intense moments.

But of everything they ever did, it was looking in each others eyes they loved the most. That's all they ever needed to connect, Luna and Aelia, just eyes, no words. If they were mute their love would be just the same.

"Stay with me for every moment of my life" Aelia whispered

Luna raised a brow slightly but kept her smile, their eyes never left each other

"May my every breath be linked to yours" Aelia whispered again

"You're my heart, you're my soul. You'll always be apart of me no matter what Aelia" Luna said

Aelia's cheeks burned a slight shade of pink as the butterflies swarmed her stomach. The colour infused cheeks dimpled with the blossoming smile and Aelia's eyes shone in a way that only deep happiness could bring.

"Will you love me in the afterlife?" Aelia whispered

"I'll spend every life I have looking for you" Luna said in a low voice

A soft chuckle left Aelia's lips as her forehead fell onto Luna's shoulder, Luna smiled and wrapped her arms around Aelia's waist, pulling the girl's closer to her.

Sure they were naked but it made their moment even more raw. There was no intimacy, so sexual frustration, no sexual desire hidden under their feelings in that moment. Just their hearts molding together as one

"I honestly don't know what my life would be like without you" Aelia mumbled

"You'd probably ended up marrying Jake and live at home with ten children" Luna said, Aelia's laughter was muffled into Luna's shoulder

"Ten kids? Really?"

"Yes, you'll have three sets of twins and the rest are just ordinary" Luna snickered

"You're such a dumbass sometimes" Aelia laughed

"Anything to bring a smile on your face" Luna whispered

Suddenly, Luna's body jolted backwards as she slammed her back flat onto the bed while holding Aelia in her arms. The blonde squealed as her body collided with Luna's chest once again.

Luna smiled and adjusted herself on the bed, Aelia chuckled and laid her head on the girl's chest, draping her free arm over her girlfriend's chest as she cuddled into her side.

Aelia listened to the name beating in Luna's heart. Aelia had written the will of her life in Luna's name. She just want to be with her for life.

"You don't have to try" Aelia mumbled

"Mhm?"

"You don't have to try anything. You always bring a smile to my face, just the thought of you makes me happy" Aelia whispered

Meeting Luna was a fate, breaking her walls down was powerful, being her friend was a choice. And falling in love, was bound to happen.

She was the one who painted her world. She was the one who kept her shielded, defended her from the brutality and the evil angels that wanted to tear them apart. She was the one Aelia would die a thousand times for.

Luna felt her heart swell in her chest as she listened to Aelia's words. She knew exactly how Aelia cared for her but hearing it always caught her off guard. She couldn't get enough of hearing how the girl felt about her

Luna's head tilted down towards her girlfriend, wanting to see those open and loving green eyes, for they were the door to her own soul.

She wanted the girl to touch her with those gentle hands and make her anew, not as clay, but as if her body was reborn in its most perfect form.

Aelia's fingertips rubbed smooth and delicate circles around Luna's tender breats, stroking slightly down to her stomach and coming back up to the valley of her breasts, leaving trails of goosebumps along Luna's arms and chest.

Luna loved when Aelia touched her, those soft fingers on her skin always eased any tension that was built in her muscles. It placed her in such a calming state, it was impossible to understand. Her warmth would seep into Luna's being and Aelia comforted her without ever opening her mouth. She'd melt into her like ice-cream on the sun, like Luna belonged next to her, like Aelia belonged next to her.

Aelia's cuddles were the only antidote Luna had to the world. If Aelia left her, she'd take the best part of Luna with her. Without Aelia, she's not herself anymore, she was a broken shell of someone who could have loved Aelia forever.

So she wanted the girl to wrap her in her arms and never let go, keep her safe and warm. In return she'd never let go of her, love her, defend her, keep her safe.

If in all this cold universe there was only Aelia she could truly love, it was enough. She was the spark to her flame, the one who kept her burning when logic decried her light should have been extinguished long ago.

"I think I would have just went back to hell and be miserable for eternity if I didn't meet you" Luna mumbled, catching the attention of Aelia

"Really?"

"I came to earth to have fun but that seemed to fly out of the window when I met you. Everything I've ever wanted, everything I've know was just thrown away and all I wanted was you. You're that missing puzzle piece to my life that I needed Aelia" Luna said

"That's honestly so cute" Aelia chuckled

"If we hadn't met then I'd probably go out every night, do a bunch of dumb shit with Dani and get bored. Say goodbye to earth and go back to making deals with humans" Luna said

"You really think so?" Aelia asked

"I know so baby" Luna whispered

"Oh-" Aelia blushed deeply by the sudden nickname, Luna never failed to make her melt

"You're the reason I want to live. Not as in I wanted to die but you're the reason I want to do wild shit, take adventures, take risks, but I want you by my side for every step" Luna whispered

"Nothing would make me happier than to be there with you for every single one of your moments" Luna mumbled as she pressed her lips onto Aelia's forehead

"Who would have thought we'd end up here?" Aelia chuckled

"Probably the fortune tellers-"

"Oh shut up" Aelia laughed

"We're unusual but we work" Luna mumbled

"Fax, no printer" Aelia said earning a low chuckle from Luna

"You know what would be really nice right now?" Luna asked

"Mhm? What's that?" Aelia asked as she locked eyes with her girlfriend and propped herself onto her elbows

"A massage" Luna smirked causing Aelia to raise her brows

"A massage? Really?" the blonde chuckle

"Heck yeah, you owe me one. I literally fell off the balcony and landed on my damn back in the middle of a restaurant butt naked. I deserve a massage" Luna said

"Oh my God, did you really land in a restaurant?" Aelia laughed

"Yes, yes I did" Luna pouted

"Fine, I'll give you your damn massage"
