My hands gripped the metal balcony, the girl was running through my mind. Her soft giggles, the way her cheeks stained red everytime she thought of something funny. She had two sides to her. The one people knew was the tough girl, the girl with a nasty attitude, ready to pounce and rip your self esteem part. Then there was the girl that blushed when she thought about her future, the girl that cried when she lost her pen, or maybe she was on her period that day.

I chuckled at my own thoughts, my eyes flickered up to the sky. It was different from earth, everything bigger and brighter, blurred in the most fantastic way. Just gazing at the midnight blue canvass above stole every thought from my mind, the usual carousel of worries simply forgotten. There was the heavenly stars above and a crescent moon to smile down

"Beautiful isn't it?" I heard a voice come from behind me

"It is"

"I remember the last time I saw the sky so majestic" he said

"When was that?"

"You were ten, thunder was on the horizon but it hadn't reached to this side yet. You couldn't sleep, not that you were scared, but because you wanted to see the thunder for yourself at 1am" he chuckled

"Really?" I laughed

"Yes, so I did what any father wouldn't do. I took your ass up on the roof at 1am and gazed at the stars" he laughed

"Father of the year everyone" I giggled

"It was a night just like this. Cool breeze, a star blazed sky. It was beautiful"

"So we sat on the roof and stared at the sky?" I asked

"Yes we did" she smiled sweetly and approached the balcony, his eyes met the midnight blue sky

"I know something's bothering you" he said

"How'd you know?"

"I'm your father, I know when something's wrong" he said, I sighed

"I miss her"

"I know you do"

"I can't go one minute without having her on my mind. I need to see her again even if it's for a second" I whispered, my eyes glanced to the man searching for his reaction

But he held a blank face. His eyes just focused on the starry night sky.

"I knew what I set myself up for the day I allowed you to visit the land. Earth may be chaotic and shallow and filled with idiots-"

"Dad!" I chuckled

"Right! Yes! As crazy as it might be, it's still a place of wonder. Exploring... Love" he said, his eyes finally glanced towards mine

"I even turned most parts of this nation into areas on earth. I thought maybe it would make you a little more comfortable, but it didn't. Your heart doesn't belong here Luna, it belongs up there with her" he said

"Dad..."

"No it's okay, you don't have to say anything. It wouldn't be the second time I'm letting my little girl go. Only this time, she truly isn't little anymore" he whispered

I honestly couldn't find the words. What did I ever do to deserve such an understanding man like Lucifer? Who would have thought that Satan was the best father ever?

His big arms wrapped around me almost protectively. My face pressed against his chest as his warmth invaded my body. I felt his lips press against my forehead

"If you'd like to return to earth then I have no problem with that" he hummed, I smiled against his chest

"Thank you so much" I squealed

"I'm pretty sure your sister would like to return too. I guess all the women are walking out of my life" he chuckled

"Oh believe me, human girlfriends are better" I said

"Maybe I'll find a human" he smiled

"I'll hand my company over to you and Maddy, take good care of it" he said

"Are you serious?" I asked

"You're an adult, it's time you learn the business" he chuckled

"I assume you'll want to leave tomorrow"

"The sooner the better" I chuckled

"Right then, I'll make sure Taylor makes the arrangement with Chase-"

"Chase?!"

"Yes, he's my new driver. Didn't you know this?"

"Um. NO!"

"it's a long story but he'll be able to take you wherever you need to go" he smiled

"I miss his gorgeous face" I chuckled

"His son is pretty grown now"

"I can't wait to see that little nugget" I giggled
"Now, it's time to talk business"

"What's that?"

"I allowed you to throw the party, now you have to hold up your end of the deal"

"Ah yes. Your mother" he said
"Are you really going to abandon your guests downstairs just to go see a snake?"

"I'll have my gay's with me" I smirked
"Well, half of them"

"The gays?" he asked

"Long story" I chuckled

Lucifer and I made our way down the to the ballroom. My eyes scanned through the guests and landed on Dani who was braced against the wall sipping champagne across the room

"Slavic, get your ass over here!" I said, the girl furrowed her brows

Her black wings emerged from the slit in her back, her eyes glowed red as she sprung from the cold stone floor. Gusts of wind spread over the guest below her as she flew her way over to me at the top of the stairs

"Sup demon?" she smirked

"I need you-"

"That's hot" she smirked

"Shut up and listen" I chuckled

"Shoot"

"I need you to come with me. I can't do this on my own" I said

"That's so hot-"

"I'M GOING TO SEE MY MOTHER" I laughed

"Oh- that makes sense" she smirked

"I thought you have a girlfriend?" I laughed

"Five years without sex Luna. It's. Been. Five. Years"

"Same here Dani" I smiled

"The difference is, you've been in a coma. God your Pussy hair must have been looooong" she said, my jaw dropped

"And I'm sure those vampires in the academy sucked you dry-"

"Can I braid your pussy hair? I'll stick flowers in it to make it pretty-"

"I hate you sometimes" I glared

"I love you too hoe"

"God I missed you" I chuckled and stepped in the direction of my father

We walked down the familiar hallway, goosebumps crawled along my skin as the nostaglia seeped through me. I took a deep breath as I stepped down the stairs, my fingers brushed against the cold stone walls of the basement.

A light was flickered on and an aggressive hiss followed,  The walls were the same thick grey stone as the dwellings of the region, but instead of a wide window with a flower box there was a mean barred opening with thick metal bars and no glass.

Hopefully it was enough to suffocate her bitch ass.

It was no brighter inside than the gathering gloom of dusk, even at midday. The bed was a plank of wood on legs, there was no mattress, no cushioning and only one thin blanket. It was either suffocatingly quiet or pierced with the screams of the tortured woman. My eyes landed on the woman on the cold ground, surrounded by a green flame that surrounded her body.

"What do you need the spell for?" I asked

"Just in case" he said, I nodded and stepped closer to the woman

"Luna? Is that... You?" she whispered, I furrowed my brows and scanned the woman

Broken. That's the only word to describe her. Broken. Just the way I liked it.

Her wounds weren't healed fully, I ever noticed there were fresh marks probably caused from the burns of the green flames. Her skin was marked, bruised. Her perfect curly hair was no longer there, it was now a mess. Her lips were bruised, her natural silver eyes stared into mine.

"You're alive" she said, her eyes went wide as they trailed over my body

"You really wanted me dead didn't you?" I asked

"I couldn't have the most powerful bein, being in my way of overthrowing hell" she spat

"So that's why you really came here" I said

"Was it not obvious?"

"And I was thinking that you truly cared about Maddy"

"I came to hell to get Maddy back so we could both overthrow the leadership in this place. I truly did care for the girl, but I knew she was gone the second you gave her everything back. All the years I poured into her just gone, just like that. The sinister emotions I gave her was completely washed away all because of you"

"I did what you asked me to do, it's not my fault that she didn't want to put up with your vile personality" I spat

"How come Maddy isn't as powerful?" Dani asked

"They inherited different genes. As you can see, Maddy takes most from me while Luna took everything from the both of us. Her powers were just dormant" Medusa whispered

"Why are you even admitting these things?" Dani asked

"Her pride is gone. She has nothing to hide" I spat, I guess it triggered something in her

"How's that girlfriend of yours? Oh wait, you dumped her" Medusa smirked.

I felt the heat rush through me like a wave as the rage bubbled in my veins. My jaw clenched as I gripped the metal bars.

"You should have stayed where you belong and ROT with your father" Medusa hissed, her eyes rolled back and hits of laughter escaped her throat.

Dani's hands rested on mine, I glanced at her and saw that she was shaking her head

"Come on, give me your best shot. Don't be shy" Medusa laughed

"I'm not even gonna waste my breath. I can't believe I even came here to make sure you were alive"

"Awww you care" she pouted

"I don't. I actually just wanted to see how pathetic you look, powerless and on your knees" I spat, the woman was left silent.

Her eyes pierced through mine, I could tell she was pissed. But what could she do? Bitch me to death?

"Smart mouth for a demon"

"Thanks, my father raised me well" I said, she laughed

"You think you're so special? I have so much more things you don't know about" she laughed

Adrenaline shot right through my veins as my eyes turned black. I aimed at her and her laughter was replaced with her chokes. The woman gripped her throat as she tried to pry the invisible force from her neck. Her breathy pants for breath was music to my hear ears.

I felt my best friend intertwine her fingers with mine as she glared at the woman, my eyes quickly flicker back to normal.

"You're really pathetic, you're on your knees, the weakest you could ever be and you still manage to be an ungrateful bitch. Don't you ever and I mean ever, disrespect Luna like that again. She never needed you and never will. Luna is the most genuine and caring person I've ever met and you fucked up by not taking the time to see that, you're blinded by your own foolishness and now you won't ever get the chance to be apart of her life. I hope you stay here and rot" Dani spat

"I'm done here" I muttered in disbelief, I spun on my heel and made my way towards the stairs with Dani

"You can't leave, you need me!" she yelled, I chuckled and took once last glance at her

"I never need a bitch. I'm what a bitch needs"
