Green burned into green, eyes that reminded her of the love she once had, the love that made her dizzy, the kind of love that comes once in a lifetime.

A small smile etched across her face as she stared at the girl on the other end of the seat since Leo was situated between them.

They were on their way to the interview Aelia was already late for, she knew Jeff would chew her head off when she got there but it was worth it.

Luna's eyes darkened as she bit her lip. Since they've entered the car, there's been an intense tension and staring competition between the two girls that everyone seemed to notice.

Unfortunately Leo's dumbass was sitting between them to even notice the little smiles and intense gaze between the two Exs.

"What was the academy like?" Leo asked

"B- Negative blood for breakfast, lunch and dinner" Dani groaned

"Must have been hard" Ryan said as if it was a common answer from a friend, SMH.

"I heard that Lucifer built a city downtown, is it true?" Zack asked the demon

"Yep, I'm thinking about putting in an lgbt center, a club and an entire fucking school just for the gay's because what we can't have on earth we'll have in hell" Luna smiled before returning her gaze towards Aelia, the blonde hair girl's cheek stained red

"Can we visit?"

"Hell yeah you can"

"Let's go right nowww"

"Did everyone suddenly forget about Aelia's interview?" Lex chuckled

"Hmm, lemme see. Hell or earth's version of hell?... Decisions Decisions.." Zack said

"The only hell on earth I know of was highschool" Mia groaned

"Remember when we won nationals? St Mary's academy was hella pissed, especially when Luna and Aelia kissed right in front of their pastor" Zack laughed. The blush on Aelia's cheek darkened

"Remember when Luna got food poisoning And Taylor literally brought demons the next day to cook for the humans"

"No wonder Medusa thought you were planning something. You brought a whole clan of demons to earth" Maddy laughed

"In my defense, the only evil thing they could do is hide the cookies from me" Luna pouted

"Oh my God, remember that one time I found Mia and Dani fucking in the closet?!" Lex yelled

"EWWWW stoooopppp"

"And in the parking lot-"

"I said stoopp"

"And the art ro-"

"I SAID STOP. AH SAID STOP" Zack warned

"You know, I really missed you guys" Lex chuckled

"Whatever happened to us after highschool?"

"We texted alot until the conversation started to die out, Aelia wasn't in a good head space-" Zack mumbled and glanced in her direction

The blonde girl felt a sharp pain to the lungs, memories of the dark place she was in came flooding back. She knew Luna's reason for leaving but it still hurted, years of neglecting, years of crying, it just doesn't go away so easily.

Aelia peeled her eyes away from the brown hair girl and leaned her head against the glass car window. Sadness crept up her muscles, Luna furrowed her brows at the girl but remained in her position.

"-Lex got all caught up with her labs assignments, Mia turned into a workaholic while I just danced until I fainted everynight. Leo's doing God knows what and we lost all contact with the supernatural beings, we all got busy and it was hard to stay in touch. But now that it's over, I'm never letting you bitches go" Zack smiled

"That's the sweetest thing I've heard all day" Leo smiled

A silence fell upon the gays, everyone seemed to pick up the tension in the room expect for Leo, the car was silent. Aelia felt familiar green eyes burn into the side of her head, she inhaled and sighed deeply as a weird dark auro came over her.

"What y'all need to do is get some champagne in this Cadillac" Leo said

"What you need to do is get your ass over here in the backseat" Dani hissed

"Why would i-" The boy snapped his neck around to see Dani's eyes narrowed to him and a pissed expression on her face

"Oh-" he mumbled when his eyes glanced between Luna and Aelia, his knees dug into the seat and his arms gripped the back as his body flipped over the front seat and landed into the back seat of the eight seater Cadillac.

There was finally room between the girl's, Aelia's eyes were still out the window with thoughts racing through her mind while Luna inched closer to her.

"Ugh your dick is on my stomach!" Leo yelled when he adjusted his body into the back seat

"Not the first time I've heard that" Zack smirked

"Shhhh the show's about to start" Dani hissed at the boys and turned her attention to Luna and Aelia in the seat before them.

A warmth invaded Aelia's senses, she furrowed her brows at the sudden dip in the seat beside her.

Aelia snapped her neck in the direction, onto the brush the tip of her nose against Luna's.

"Hi" Luna whispered, the dark energy seemed to disappear the second Aelia locked eyes with the girl. A smile tugged across her lips

"Hi" Aelia giggled

"Mind if I sit here?" Luna asked, Aelia shook her head

Luna inched even closer to the girl, her arm seemed to find its way around the back of the girl's head rest as she shifted her body to face Aelia

"What are you thinking about?" Luna asked

"Nothing really" Aelia muttered

"Why would you lie to me?" Luna questioned

"It's not a lie, it's nothing much to think about really. It's all in the past and I should get over it" Aelia said

"You have to feel to grow, Trying to make your past vanish won't help, it's something that happened and will always be there whether you like it or not but what you could do is embrace what happened and know that you'll do better" Luna smiled, Aelia rose a brow at the girl

"Who died and gave you wisdom?" She asked, Luna chuckled softly

"It's just somethings I observe, now tell me what's bothering you" Luna asked

The girl's finger brushed against Aelia's shoulder as she drew a line down her arm, leaving a slight trail of goosebumps with it. Aelia bit her lips as her eyes locked with Luna

"You, I was thinking about you" Aelia admitted

"Really?" Luna smiled

"I really do miss you Luna" she whispered

"I missed you too" Luna said

"I miss having you around, I miss our stupid arguments, I miss having to clean your damn ps4 before you'd always get potato chip dust all over it-" Aelia said with a smile

"Yeah that was a shitty thing to do" Luna chuckled, her eyes stared into Aelia's once again

"but I really miss having you there when I just need someone to hold" Aelia mumbled, Luna's eyes immediately went soft, the muscles and tension in her body seemed to relax upon hearing Aelia's words

"With words like that, you're gonna make me fall in love with you all over again" Luna mumbled

Her finger ran down Aelia's arm and intertwined theirs hands, she drew soft circles in the girl's palm as their eyes locked

"I think I already am" Aelia whispered inaudibly, it was so soft that Luna couldn't hear

"What was that?" Luna mumbled, her lips hovered over the girl's.

Aelia shutted her eyes tightly, it was taking everything in her to not lean over and claim the girl as her own.

Self restrain. As frustrating as it was, Aelia knew she couldn't give in. Her connection with Luna was powerful and made it even harder to resist but she just couldn't.

To risk everything she's created for her own desires? Her own happiness? It's selfish to risk the employment of others just because you wanted to be happy, right?

It's what being a boss is all about, taking control and making sacrifices.

Sometimes we lose the ones we love, the ones we care about, just because it was the right thing to do for everyone else.

A warm touch, pressed onto Aelia's skin. Luna placed a tender kiss on the girl's forehead as she intertwined their fingers. A deep sensation rolled through Aelia's veins as their skins touched.

"It's okay, we don't always get what we want. But I'll still try, I don't care what happens Aelia, I just want you and I won't stop until I have all of your love. That sounds possessive as fuck but it was supposed to be romantic" Luna said

A red mark appeared on Aelia's cheek and she laughed, her giggles filled the car. Luna smiled widely, the two girls leaned their foreheads against each other, neither of them needing words to explain the feeling they shared in the moment. It was a silent I love you from 'Luna' and an appreciation from 'Aelia'

It's funny how we put aside our own chance at happiness, for the sake of others.
