"I'm fucking LATE!" Luna yelled into the phone

"Calm down, calm down. How far away are you?" Dani asked

"Two minutes" Luna chuckled

"You idiot, why did you call me" Dani laughed

"I'm nervous and need my best friend to calm me down"

"There's no reason to be nervous, you're just going to tell your ex that your entire breakup was a lie and your snake mother tried to kill out your entire bloodline" Dani said

"Yeah, that helps" Luna said sarcastically

"Listen, you'll be fine. Yeah it's been a while since you've talked but she's still gonna be that same girl underneath, you just need to reach her Luna. I know that girl still has love for you, there's so way a love like yours would disappear. First loves always hold onto each other in a special way" Dani said

Luna sighed and slipped the car into the parking lot, her feet stopped shaking as the cold air invaded her lungs

"Thanks Dan" She mumbled

"No problem, now go in there and get your girl" Dani giggled

"I'll see you later, bye Dani" she said before hanging up

The girl's eyes landed on the familiar restaurant. The restaurant was full. She looked around at the busy tables pressed against the dark grey wall lined with white linen. An elderly couple ate side by side, one glass of wine each, studiously bent over their meals.

A group of young women in their thirties collapsed with helpless giggles as a stern woman dining alone nearby looked on and frowned, poor thing.

Her eyes scanned the restaurant and landed on the love of her life, a smile stretched across her lips as she watched the girl. Her hair was pulled into a high body with two strands of hair hanging down her side profile, the tight red dress exposed her strong shoulder blades, the blonde tapped her feet repeatedly as if she was nervous. Aelia leaned forward to grab the almost empty glass of wine, it exposed her cleavage slightly and Luna chuckled as she approached her

"Where have you been!" Aelia started

"Hello to you too" Luna smiled as she took a seat

"Do you have any idea how much trouble I could have gotten into if you didn't show up?!" Aelia hissed before sipping the wine

"I'd never give up the chance to spend time with you" Luna smirked

"Save it. I'm just relieved you're here" Aelia groaned

"Oh? So you did want to see me" Luna smirked, Aelia's eyes went wide as a red stain pulled across her cheek

Luna's eyes trailed over the blonde's face, Aelia tried ever so desperately to avoid the demon's eyes, she knew she'd melt the second they locked eyes.

"Did you miss me?" Luna whispered, Aelia's heart skipped at beat at the question

"what?"

"Did you.. Miss me while I was gone" she whispered again

"Um..." Aelia started.

Yes she did but she never thought about it. She avoided feeling the dark feelings by distracting herself with books

"I missed you, every single day. Well, the days that I was awake" Luna chuckled, Aelia furrowed her brows

"What do you mean?" Aelia asked

"It's a really long story. But please, you have to listen to everything I say without objecting" Luna said and Aelia nodded

"How's your new life treating you? When did you get into the Music Industry?" Luna smiled

"It actually happened randomly. After highschool I started college and studied business, then one day I met Up with Lauren and we started talking about stuff, the conversation shifted to music and one thing led to another then I was signed to her music company" Aelia chuckled, Luna's heart fluttered in her chest at the sound of the girl's laugh

"And just like that, business was tossed out of the window" Luna smiled

"Gone are those days of studying until 2am" Aelia laughed

Her laughter seemed to lighten the awkward tension they had upon greeting, Luna sunk into her chair comfortably as her eyes trailed over the girl's face, taking in every inch of her that she missed

"I'm really proud of you Aelia"

"Well... You're the whole reason I ever started to sing again in the first place" She whispered

"Am I?" Luna smirked, Aelia giggled and shook her head

"Yep. You broke me and I wrote sad songs about my hatred for you" Aelia said bluntly, but laughed right afterwards.

Who would have that that a breakup with your ex would be the reason for your music?

"Damn. I'm flattered. Taylor Swift who?" Luna said, the sounds of the two girl's laugh filled the room.

A few heads turned their way since they were loud but they didn't care

"How's your father?" Aelia asked

"He's doing well now"

"Did something happen?" Aelia asked, Luna sighed before pushing herself deeper into the chair

"Alot happened Aelia. Alot" She muttered

"Tell me, I want to know" Aelia whispered, Luna locked eyes with the girl

"Remember that day we came back from the airport and I said I had to leave?" Luna asked

"Yes" Aelia responded

"I was taken to hell, I didn't know what I was in for. The only thing we knew was something happened to my father" Luna said, Aelia furrowed her head but nodded for the girl to continue

"The second I reached the castle, someone destroyed the passageway to earth" Luna whispered

"What the hell" Aelia said

"Taylor went to check it out but James and I went into the castle, no guards were around, no maids, no one. It was silent"

"Where was Maria?" Aelia asked, Luna's jaw clenched

"Turns out Maria's actually a witch" Luna said. Aelia's eyes grew wide as she stared at the girl in disbelief

Her jaw hung open as she stared at the girl in disbelief, stunned at the information she was now being given.

"What?"

"That not even the crazy part yet" Luna chuckled, her heart stung at the memory

"My mother showed up"

"Your mother?!" Aelia yelled, a few heads turned around again and she blushed deeply

"She wanted revenge for me taking Maddy's powers" Luna said

"Why would she care about- No fucking way! Medusa is your mother?!" Aelia gasped, the girl's eyes seemed as if they could bulge out of their sockets

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you who she was sooner" Luna mumbled

"You don't have to apologize, I understood that you didn't want to talk about it. But right now, this is crazy" Aelia whispered

"The day my father left us in Paris, she trapped him with his weakness. Maria was sent by Medusa for years to spy over us, make sure we weren't plotting anything over heaven or earth" She said

"Are you serious? What the heck"

"Maria eventually fell for my father but that didn't stop her from learning his weakness and using it to trap him for Medusa. My mother had a hold over Lucifer, I've never seen him in such pain, such agony. I couldn't bare seeing him in pain for another second. I was alone, I couldn't find James, Taylor was fighting off some of Medusa's men at the portal. I was scared. I was all by myself Aelia" Luna whispered, Tears filled to the rim of her eyes

The sadness flowed through her veins and deadened her mind. It was a poison to her spirit, dulling her killing off her other emotions within two seconds until it was the only one that remained. It was as if a black mist had settled upon her and refused to shift.

Aelia noticed the glossy eyes of the girl. Without even thinking, she dropped everything and rushed over to her. She sat in the vacant seat besides Luna and wrapped her arms around the girl. Her skin tingled when their bodies touched, Luna buried her face in the girl's chest, consumed with grief.

She sobbed into her chest unceasingly, hands clutching at her dress.

"She... She wanted me to give Maddy her powers back then she'd release my father. But she didn't agree so easily, she wanted me to earn my trust, she wanted me to lose the only person I loved as much as my father. She told me to break your haft Aelia" Luna whispered. The pain must have came in waves, minutes of sobbing broken apart by short pauses for recovering breaths.

Aelia on the other hand went numb. The world stopped spinning and so did her heart. In that moment, she was consumed by emotional dumbfoundedness. Luna's words played over and over in her head.

Her pain. Every tear that she shed for five years were caused wrongfully. It was made by a decision that Luna couldn't control, all of her pain, it was all a lie.

"Are you... Serious right now?" Aelia muttered, Luna sighed and rose from the girl's chest

"I promise, it's true" Luna whispered, the blonde girl finally felt the blood rush through her veins again

"Luna... I'm so sorry"
