"Hi Aelia" Luna said

All eyes in the room turned to face the demon that was approaching the stage. Aelia felt her blood run cold and her heart break sped up with each step the girl took coming closer to her.

A sudden feeling swept through Aelia as if cold wind cut through her body. She just stared with wide eyes opened, her emotions were dropping, crumbling around her but she wasn't stalking. The familiar face left her paralyzed.

"I'm sorry, security. Please get this person off stage" Justin yelled, Roland quickly approached the stage

"Touch me and I won't hesitate to end your bloodline" Luna spat

Aelia was still frozen in place. It was as if she was looking at a dead woman walking. The singer's heart thumped rapidly, the earth wasn't crumbling but it felt like reality was.

"Ma'am please step off the stage" Roland ordered

"Do you really wanna start a problem with me?" Luna asked the man

"Ma'am, please step away from the stage" Roland said, he came closer and placed his hand on Luna's shoulder

The demon locked eyes with the man and her pupils went jet black. Her hands gripped his and he yelped when a crushing pain ran through his fingers

"What the-"

"Don't say I didn't warn you" Luna said, her hands on the man's finger tighten and he screamed

"Luna!" Aelia yelled, the demon dropped the man's hand and he flinched back holding his hand

Luna's eyes met the woman and they instantly softened upon seeing the blonde girl's face.

Aelia however was raging. Anger, pain, sadness -so intertwined that perhaps their names aught to be tweaked to reflect the true origins of those emotions.

It was first visible in her eyes, then a tension of her muscles, an inability to think clearly soon followed.

"Aelia, I'm gonna need an answer" Justin whispered beside her

"Don't you dare say yes" Luna yelled, her eyes snapped back to the demon

"Excuse me, who are you?" Justin asked

Aelia's eyes were stuck on the brown hair girl, was she really here? Was she just imagining this?

The girl that broke her heart was standing right in front of her and she felt nothing but heartbreak.

The panic started with the tightening of her chest, as if the muscles were trying not to let another breath in, but instead to suffocate her.

Then the breath came, shallow, lungs unable to move much against the suddenly heavy ribs. Then her mind became static.

"Someone you'll regret meeting" Luna spat

"Can someone get this obsessed fan off the stage please?" Justin yelled

"Bitch I will ki-"

"ENOUGH" Aelia yelled, the human and demon went silent as their eyes landed on the pop star

She had for so long been the only source of positivity, of warmth and emotional comfort.

She had for so long taken the brunt of cruel outbursts designed to bring her self esteem to zero, to shatter her sense of self worth.

Aelia looked between the both of them, stressed, sad, confused. Her emotions were taking a turn for the worse, the man she woke up to was on his knees asking to be married while the girl that broke her heart somehow showed up out of the blue. Aelia groaned and stormed off stage

"Aelia wait!" Justin yelled, his voice was drifted of into fading whispers as Aelia ran past the crew, her hands gripped a nearby sweater as she ran with it

Her feet took control and the girl sped out of the building through the exist, no one was in sight. She pulled the grey sweater over her body as her skin met the cold temperatures of the outside. The warmth of the coffee shop was gone as her blood felt as if it froze in her veins.

"What the fuck just happened" Aelia whispered.

Her brain still couldn't function properly, the girl she loved just appeared out of no nowhere and crashed her mind.

"What the hell is she doing here" Aelia muttered

Aelia's anger was nothing but a shield for pain, like a cornered soldier randomly throwing out grenades, scared for his life, lonely, desperate. She breathed in real slow as her feet made their way through the dark alley.

In the alleyway, she could stretch her arms and touch the homes on both sides, the walls built so very long ago. They weren't the straight perfection of the modern buildings in the newer areas, but each curve and flaw rendered them more beautiful still.

Aelia hoped no one ever saw the pain in her eyes. It's been there for what felt like a life time, trapped in the confusion that everyone carry. Behind her eyes hid love. The love she would have given if it weren't for the scars.

She knew how what love is, she knew how to love. But she was never the same after Luna left.

There is so much of Aelia's life that was a hell for her soul, but she stayed there from strength rather than weakness she knew.

Emotional pain has a biological purpose, to teach, to educate us away from unhealthy patterns and relationships.

Aelia's had been pushing back against pain for so long, medicating with friendship, with romantic notions, yet it returned in my weaker moments, more specifically when she was most emotional on stage.

She just had to get out of that place as soon as possible, Luna's face was making her feel suffocated. Mixed emotions ran through her body. Aelia's heart sped up at the thought of the girl but the familiar wounds felt like it was ripped open once again.

Emotional pain leaves invisible scars, yet they can be traced by the most gentle of touch. Sometimes, like a wound must be opened to be healed; other times a well meaning person may seek to heal what should be left alone. If it can be ignored and a normal happy life resumed, isn't it kinder to have faith in the natural healing process?

Aelia's hands gripped the balcony of an abandoned building she stood on, her body leaned over the dark and empty alley way of the night, not a street light in view. The cold ran through her veins and she exhaled deeply.

Why now? Why now off all time? She was finally happy, finally in a good mindset. Aelia had moved on from the girl that broke her, right?

Why would she decide to show up now?

"Aelia-" a voice came from behind, the girl flinched and her ankle bent to the side as her body fell into the balcony

"Whoa I'm sorry, didn't mean to startle you" Luna chuckled

Aelia's eyes bored through the girl's. Her eyes were the deepest shade of the richest earth and they speak of how she belonged. Her eyes shone with the love that was within, the same love that spread throughout the black expanse of confusing yet amazing universe. But her jet black eyes then faded into green.

Luna's eyes were every hue of the forest, rimmed cooly with moss. Their lightness reminded Aelia of summertime, when the sun-rays warmed each extended leaf. Next to the shade of her hair, that light brown, Aelia swallowed a lump in her throat, the girl's eyes told a story but she was scared to listen.

"Why are you here" Aelia whispered

"Well hello to you too" Luna chuckled, the girl's soft laugh cause Aelia's heart to flutter but the blonde rolled her eyes to hide her feelings

"You're not answering my question" Aelia said

"I'm just trying to stall time" the demon said, her eyes trailed over the blonde

"Why?" Aelia asked

"So I can take in how beautiful you look" Luna whispered, a burning sensation reached Aelia's cheek that she tried so hard to contain

"Stop it Luna" Aelia said

"Stop what?" Luna asked, a smirk tugged across her lips

"Luna... I don't know what you want me to say right now, I just want to be left alone" Aelia said

"Are you sure about that?" Luna asked, the girl took a step closer and Aelia's fingers gripped the balcony behind her

"What are you doing here" She mumbled

"I needed to see you" Luna muttered

The girl took a few more steps forward making sure that Aelia was comfortable with the invasion of personal space but the blonde girl looked like she was fighting a battle with her mind as she furrowed her brows.

"Why" Aelia whispered, a chill ran down her spine when her eyes locked with the demon

Luna's hands gripped either sides of the balcony, trapping Aelia between her chest. Their faces were mere inches apart as their chest barley grazed, Luna's eyes fell onto the girl's lips.

"Because I missed you so much" Luna whispered, her hot breath brushed against the girl's lips, Aelia's teeth sank down into her bottom lip as she chewed them nervously

"Luna I can't do this" she whispered

"But I love you" The girl said.

Aelia lost all control of her body, her knees went weak and a breath left her lungs. Her chest was heaving heavily, The butterflies swarmed her stomach as she heard those three words she's desperately needed for years.

The intensity of the moment made her weak, Aelia let out a breath as she leaned her head against Luna's forehead.

They shared one breath with how close they were. Luna closed her eyes tightly, feeling the tingles through her body the second Aelia's skin touched hers.

Aelia breathed heavily against Luna's body, their eyes stared into each other as either of them were afraid to make the next move.

But unfortunately, good things don't last. Reality kicked in and Aelia pulled away, her eyes grew wide when she realized she was trapped between Luna's body.

Aelia groaned and removed the girl's arms from around her before she stomped away

"Wait!" Luna yelled, Aelia rolled her eyes and spun on her heel to face the brown hair girl with her arms crossed against her chest

"What?" Aelia asked

"There's alot of things I need to talk to you about, it's really important" Luna said. Aelia furrowed her brows and sighed

"Luna I'm sure there's things you want to get off you chest, but I really don't want to go back into that state of mind. I've moved on Luna. You should too" Aelia lied, I think. Was it a lie though?

"Aelia, please?" Luna mumbled

A silence fell upon the girls that stood a few feet apart, the cold midnight breeze made Aelia shiver, goosebumps trailed along her skin but it wasn't because of the breeze. She felt all of her emotions swarmed her stomach in that one moment, anger, pain, frustration. There were only a few words that could find her mind to say to the brown hair girl.

"You could have atleast looked me in the eye before you ripped my heart out" Aelia whispered.

Aelia's eyes glanced in Luna's direction before spinning on her heel and disappearing into the darkness of the night

Luna stood on the cold balcony. The wind tossed and turned her hair around, the cold caused goosebumps to crawl against her skin but the girl held a smile on her face. She chuckled in disbelief before whispering to herself

"She still loves me"
