Ch12; Finding a way out

"I- uh- see- I um uh-" Ashton started saying. Gabby gently nodded her head in his direction, since she was helping to hold Sparky, to quiet him as she began to speak.

"We were just going to a different room... The room we were in smelled of blood and we needed to get the little one out." Gabby said as Cassandra peaked out from behind Gabby.

Christina raised her eyebrow. "Really? Then, why do you have Steve and your dog with you, because they were the sources of that smell. And still are."

"Oh cheese balls..." Diamond muttered under her breath, glimpsing at Gabby for a brief second.

Christina's face then softened a little as she came closer to the group of friends. Cassandra grabbed hold of Gabby's jeans and started shaking a little.

"Tell me the truth." She whispered when she was a few inches away from the group.

Gabby sighed. "Will you hurt us?"

"Why no! Your kids, I would never hurt children." Christina said.

"Okay, we are trying to go home and-" Ashton kicked her from behind, but she kept going. "And we are going to take Dad and my dog, Sparky, to a hospital and vet clinic to save them."

"Okay, I'll help you." Christina said. Gabby was surprised by this.

"How?" Candy asked harshly.

"I will lead you out. I will make a secret nether portal. And I will keep an eye on the little one as we walk the city's streets to go to the hospital." Christina answered warmly, a sweet smile forming on her lips.

"Okay then, lead the way." Diamond said without any discussion with her friends. But she felt like everyone else agreed because no one testified against it.

She kept smiling and motioned for Cassandra to get beside her. Cassandra got out from behind Gabby and listened.

They started walking and Garrett decided to try and start a conversation. He saw Christina running her fingers slightly through Cassandra's hair and thought of a question.

"Do you have kids?" Garrett asked. He felt Jay's dark blue eyes on him, but ignored the pressure of the gaze.

"I did. One." Christina said sadly as she started actually running her fingers through Cassandra's short, brown hair, since Cassandra didn't seem to mind. Cassandra thought it felt like a massage for her scalp kind of.

"What was she like?" Diamond asked.

Christina laughed a little and looked up. "Oh, she was the sweetest little girl I've ever met at the time. Her crystal eyes were beautiful. Although every day they turned more of a light blue.

"I remember the first time she walked. Ha. Who can't forget." Christina started laughing slightly to herself. "Oh, Herobrine, his face was priceless. She had climbed out of her crib and started walking to our bedroom.

"Herobrine was reading in the doorway on the floor while I was on the bed, drawing pictures. She came around the corner and jumped into his lap.

"He screamed and dropped his book. I was laughing my head off as he yelled 'Danget! I lost my place!'. Then he looked at what had jumped in his lap and started laughing while he hugged her... Oh... We loved that child." She finished with a sigh.

A moment went by when Jake finally spoke up, "What was her name?"

Christina smiled. "It was my fault I let Hero name her. He came up with a name that matched his.-" She chuckled slightly-"Hero named her Heroline."

Gabby smiled then asked, "Where is she?" Christina started sniffing slightly, like she was about to cry.

"She-she... She's gone..." Christina said as she tried to keep her sobs from escaping.

"What happened?" Ashton asked.

"I-I'd rather not say. It's the past, and we can't change the past." Christina said. She looked down at Cassandra, seeing the floor moving in the background of her face, to see Cassandra looking back.

She scooped up Cassandra and carried her. Once it had been a minute, Candy surprisingly sounded nice and concerned for once and asked, "How old was she. Your daughter."

"She was almost one." Was the sad reply.

"I'm sorry." Gabby said.

"It's fine. It's not your fault." Christina said as they continued walking.

The pic at the top is where the friends were. I didn't feel like explaining where they were :p

Also, the 'First Time Walking' for Heroline that Christina was talking about was actually true.

Except, replace Heroline with my little sister, Christina with my mom, and Herobrine with me. And a different setting.

I'm serious though! It scared me half to death!

Lol

Anyway- Bye!
