Hi there! I'm Alex - AKA MiniMoxx - I'm a writer from the UK, who tends to write contemporary romance mixed in with other genres. When not writing, I'm a mother, wife, an avid video gamer. I also have 2 black cats who frequently pop up on my instagram account :P In typical Brit fashion, I'm also very addicted to drinking tea.

Whew, I have a lot of experience!

I've been writing since I was 8 years old - so now over 20 years. I have written anything from non-fiction to poetry, to short stories and novels. My degree is in Creative Writing. While I mainly write contemporary romance, I also mix in other genres as well. So you'll find I've written urban fantasy, mystery, and literary fiction.

In 2022, I had my book The Burden of Us traditionally published (not anymore), and I was also shortlisted for the 2022 Watty Awards. I was also previously a Wattpad Creator and part of the Paid Stories Program.

In October 2024, another one of my books is going to be traditionally published, and my publisher is planning on (hopefully) publishing more of my works. Unfortunately contractually, I can't say anything more than that right now :P

𓍊𓋼𓍊 Review Style 𓍊𓋼𓍊

I will read 3-5 chapters (please specify which you want in the form). With my review, I will focus on: hook, plot layout, pacing, grammar, dialogue, character - basically everything a story needs. I'll look at it from a reader perspective and as a fellow writer (who is also a reader lol) and with my knowledge of both trad publishing and as a Wattpad writer (as in writing to what Wattpad are looking for from my time as a Creator), I will give you an overview of how your story looks and reads.

Please lay out in the form whether you want 3, 4 or 5 (or less!) chapters reviewed. Also let me know if there is anything SPECIFIC you want me to focus on when reviewing. Otherwise, I'll give my overview of everything I note on.

A week - usually I'm much quicker, but this gives me extra time because life sometimes likes to kick me up the butt :P
