HOTNESS (Ex-Friend!ShinsoXFem!Reader)

Deku and anyone in his year is in second year. Just to clear that up. Anyone in General Studies were put in class 1-A, first year.

HOTNESS

She arrived at her new school, stars in her eyes. It was finally time for the first year of UA!

(Y/N) (L/N) had gotten into UA by the skin of her teeth. Only getting in cause you saved a kid's life was cliche, but boy was she hyped. This was the first time she was better than everyone else. If only it was as easy as she thought it was going to be.

The second she stepped in the building, (Y/N) realized how little she mattered. Everyone looked like they had amazing quirks. A pink-skinned girl with horns, a girl who had frog like features, a boy with a weird color hair, laughing at some students, a blue twirly haired girl cling onto a magenta haired girl, they all looked amazing.

She, on the other hand, looked simple as hell, and her quirk, which was average as well, didn't show. (Y/N) can mend anything together. Whether it be bones, or people, it was a normal quirk.

(Y/N) wished she could look as cool as everyone else, but it wasn't worth it. Having gotten in 1-A, she was happy enough.

As the girl skipped to class, she looked around her new classmates. They weren't anything special, most of them you could tell that they'd be in class 1-A. She glanced around, tilting her head. They looked older than her.

She walked over to the nearest girl, a pink haired girl who looked like she had tentacles coming from her hair.

"Hey? May I ask how old everyone here is?" (Y/N) asked, scratching her head, one eye open and the other closed.

"Wow... A new student. Guys! Come look, there's a new girl!" The girl shouted, waving her arms in the air. A large mob of students looked directly at her, making (Y/N) feel like they were staring straight into her soul.

Everyone started running towards the girl, either to hug her, ask her questions, or to fool with her. (Y/N) turned red, asking people to leave her alone. That wasn't going to happen any time soon.

She sat at lunch, hiding in an alleyway behind the school. (Y/N) was afraid of the large mob of people, having been talked to all day. She just wanted some peace and quiet.

As if the gods knew she wanted peace and quiet, a small black cat skipped over. They looked awfully slim, and it's fur was falling over almost. (Y/N) looked at the cat, pulling out the lunch. She picked out her towel and a riceball, setting it on the towel. (Y/N) set the towel down, letting the cat eat from it.

She leaned against the wall, not petting the cat out of fear. (Y/N) was afraid it'd bite her hand off, so she simply just watched. The cat looked as if the world had suddenly lightened up for him.

"I'm sorry, but could you leave?" (Y/N) heard a voice deadpan from behind her.

"Ah, I'm sorry." She nervously mumbled, glancing at the person who had said something her. "Wait, Hitoshi?"

"(Y/N)-Chan? Is that you?" Shinso looked at (Y/N) in shock. "I haven't seen you in years!"

"I would recognize that purple hair anyways. You got into UA and pursued your dream. Pretty lucky!" She smiled, patting next to her.

"Uh, yeah. Wait, is that my cat?"

"Wait, that's your cat?"

Shinso started laughing. Not highkey, but more or less snickering to himself, glancing at (Y/N) who looked more embarrassed then she was at first. He enjoyed her company after all these years. In fact, she was prett-

'Nope, no admiring your friend's looks. She's not pretty, but she isn't ugly.' His face turned a bit red, but attempted to ignore it.

In (Y/N)'s mind, there was a fucking war.

She couldn't decide between shutting up, leaving, hugging him, or kissing him. She decided to hug him, not wanting to weird him out too much.

"It's so good to see you though! I hope we could become better friends throughout this year!" She grinned, ruffling his hair, face tinted pink.

Shinso had a relaxed smile, "Yeah, you too princess."

"What did you just call me?"

"Nothing."

"You just called me princess, didn't you?" (Y/N) smirked, punching his shoulder.

He rolled his eyes, "Oh shut it, damsel in distress."

"Alright, princess is better." She chuckled, smiling brightly.

Rekindling relationships isn't easy, but the two did it within days, and grow closer to this day.
