It's a week since whole ICT left for New Zealand.. They will be having a long series there..

We were unable to go the airport.. Since they all departed from mumbai.. And we are bangalore.. On top that office work.. Ughhh this office just sucks sometimes!!

Ohhh shit.. They have a match today.. Shit shit.. I need to change this news channel..

Shristi's hurriedly got up from her chair and switched on to the sports channel..

" Re kya huya??? " On of the co worker said

" Re pagal aaj match hai na.. " Shristi said

" Ohh yeah.. Shit bhul hi gaye sab.. Thank God you remembered " Samiksha sighed

" I know.. " Shristi smiled

Luckily they weren't much late.. They only missed the toss..

"New Zealand won the toss chose to bowl first " Said the commentator . .

Trent Boult came to bowl the first over..
" This is only when I want him to bowl.. " Shristi said

" Yeah.. I hate trent when it's vs India " Samiksha said

The first over went maiden.. The whole office was silent.. In a T20 match first five overs play a very important role ..

For the next over came Tim Southee.. And again it was a maiden over . .

" Ohhh shit.. " One of the their co workers sighed

" Kya ho raha hai yaar! " Samiksha said biting her nail..

Rohit and Rahul were shown having chat with each other..

Rohit sharma was on strike..
It was again Trent's over.. As he bowled the first ball.. Rohit hit that straight for a SIX..

" And India is off the mark with a Six " Commentator said

Whole stadium started cheering again..

And for next three balls Rohit hit three more six..

" Hitman is on fire! " Shristi smiled

"Indeed " Samiksha said
It was last ball of the over... Rohit hit that through long on for a six..

But! Kane Williamson catches that! He was almost over the rope but manages himself somehow..

A hugely disappointed Rohit was shown on the screen..

" And that's out.. Rohit sharma who was looking too good fell really early
India 24 -1 " Said the commentary

" Ohhh noo.. " Almost whole office said in unison

After that virat kohli came onto the crease

After 11 overs India was 110-2
Kl rahul got his half century.. But fell after that..

Shreyas Iyer was on the strike..
It was Mitchell Santner's over . .

In that over shreyas was totally on over..

He went for 6,6,4,4,6,6
( I hope everyone remember his over against West Indies bowled by Shai Hope)

" Wohhoo.. Wohhoo.... " Shristi was laughing like anything seeing that over..

After 16 overs India was 162-3
Virat kohli got out just after his 50

Rishabh pant came on strike..

" I am hoping for serious firing of boundaries from these two.. " Samiksha said

" Same ya.. " Shristi said.. Everyone was watching the game intently..

In the his over Rishabh literally ripped Southee apart

He went for 4,4,4,4,6,6 . . Whole team was jumping inside the dressing room..

Virat was totally pumped up..

Shreyas and Rishabh ripped Boult and Southee in last four overs

" These two young lads gave India a very good position in the match..
India finishes with 225-3 " Said the commentator..

" That's a good total.. " Shristi said

" Yeah.. I think that too " Samiksha said

On the other side..

" We need to take early wickets.. Otherwise 226 is nothing for them!! Let's go boys " Virat gave a small pep talk as they came to defend the total..

Back to Bangalore

Second half was about to start..
Camera took some pan shots of Ahana and Ritika who were sitting in the family box..

" See.. Ahnaa and Ritsy bhabi " Samiksha chuckled

New Zealand came to chase the target..

In first five overs New Zealand openers were on fire.. After powerplay their score was
65-0

" They are just batting too well " Shristi said nervously..

" All is well.. All is well " Samiksha mumbled

In the seventh over Mayank came to bowl..
In the fourth throw of his over he bold Martin Guptill with a googly ball..

" Yesss.... " Everyone screamed in unsion..

Samiksha went to sneak in Nikita's cabin
" I am watching it already " Nikita smiled widely.. She was watching the match over her laptop ..

After 10 overs they were 112-1
After that their was no stopping..
Mayank took four wickets in that match..
New Zealand were all out at 200 ...

Everyone in the office was jumping in joy..

Virat as usual was very pumped up after the win..

" Jeet gayeee... " Samiksha screamed

" Pagal yeh office hai.. " Shristi laughed

" I dont care! " Samiksha laughed

Later that day..

Deba was in her room when kl called her..

" Hey.. Congratulations for the win " Deba squealed..

" Thanks dear.. BTW tell me.. Kya haal hai.. Kaisi ho? " Rahul asked

" Good.. Busy with usual life.. Helping out children.. " Deba smiled

" Ah.. You know.. I just feel so proud when I listen all this.. I am lucky that I have someone like you.. " Rahul said

" Naahh.. Naah.. You know what I am lucky.. That I have someone who is soo supportive " Deba said

" You are doing such a great job.. Everyone should support people like you " Rahul smiled

" Acchaa chodo yeh sab.. You must be tired so take some rest.. We will talk later " Deba chuckled

" Re.. Abhi toh call kiya " Rahul whined

" Re toh main kaha bhaag ne waali hoon.. Baad main baat karna you already sound very tired so yeah.. Bye!! " Deba said

" Okay.. Bye.. " Rahul said and they hung up

" Congratulations for four wickets.. Moreover for the hatrick! " Nikita said to Mayank over video call

" Thanks love.. " Mayank smiled

" I was soo happy you know.. I was in office so I couldn't really scream or do anything funny.. But I was soo emotional " Nikita said her voice chocked

" Niki don't.. Just don't please " Mayank said seriously..

" Haa haa... Thik hai nahi ro rahi main ... " Nikita said wiping her tears..

" That's how I like it ..keep smiling.. "Mayank said and gave her a flying kiss..

" Okay I gotta go... Sastri sir calling " Mayank said

" Bye.. " Nikita said with a flying kiss..
