The Mistake
Online dating sounds easy right? Finding the right person and everything can be a dream. Well, you never know who's on the other side rather that person is a rapist or some crazy person. I made that mistake once or twice in my life. But meeting them in real life is another thing. One day while browsing on the internet, I've found a dating website, usually I would never go on a dating website. I would think it's a joke or a scam just to get your money. But, this one was different, it was sketchy at first. It was free for register and everything. I didn't had to pay any money for the site. I made a blog explaining what I like. But I made a fake name, I don't want any murderers or rapists coming to my house.
The form read like this.
Name: Annabelle Peterson
Age: 23
Location: N/A
Address: N/A
Phone: N/A
About: I have red hair and green eyes. I'm very sweet and loving. I would like to get to know you before we you know.. date and all. I would like to get married and have children someday.
Other: N/A
Interest: I like men who are very sweet, caring, not controlling, protective, and very honest.
That what the form read. I filled it out the best I can. My real name is Lily Moxley. I wanted to be actually married someday and do have maybe 3 children. I was iffy about this site. Once I made the form and everything about me. I had to show a picture of myself. I didn't really want to do that. There was an option not to do that thankfully so I clicked skipped. Then it showed I already got a couple of men who were interested in me. I clicked on the inbox and I scrolled through the list of a total of 6 or 8 men.
One caught my eye however; it was a dude with blonde hair and blue eyes. Here's what his profile read.
Name: Alexander Wolfe
Age: 25
Location: Sofia, Bulguria
Address: N/A
Phone: N/A
About: I'm very honest! I would never tell a lie. I love children. I work at a daycare center for 2 years now. I'm very sweet and very friendly to talk to!
Other: N/A
Interest: I like women who are honest and that are very faithful.
I shrugged and messaged to him.
"Hey."
I simply typed that out and sent it to him. Hopefully he isn't lying but he says he's very honest. In 3 minutes he replied back.
"Hey! How are you? Glad you got back to me."
I raised a brow. He's a quick responder. Didn't expect that, but I passed it off and talked to him for a bit. He's Bulgarian. That's cool! I talked to him everyday. Sometimes he didn't respond back to me until a day after. He must be busy with work or something. But after about two years of talking to him, it was finally the time we are going to meet each other in real life. I was nervous and iffy about this. I lived in Michigan. How are we going to meet? I suppose he could buy a plane ticket but those aren't cheap.
He asked if we can meet and I told him yes. Stupid me. He gave me an address of where to meet him and when. He told me he recently moved to Michigan and it made me shiver down my spin a bit. But I went offline and got ready. I was walking down the streets after leaving my house and locking the door. I went to where I was supposed to meet 'Alexander'. All I found was a guy in a creepy, realistic poodle mask. He wore dark clothes, he also had a pentagram tattoo on his left wrist, and he walked up to me. I ran the other way in my red high heels the best I could. He followed me. He was stalking me. I wanted to call 9-1-1 to complain to the police that someone was stalking me.
I turned around and walked in a dark alley and stopped to catch my breath. Unfortunately, the man followed behind me. He took off his mask to reveal himself. He had medium, fluffy, black hair and bright blue eyes. He also had a lip ring. "You're not Alexander..." I muttered under my breathe. He scuffed. "Of course not..." He spoke, his voice was deep and he had a Swedish accent. "Who the hell are you?" "Why should I tell you, Sweetie?" He grabbed me by the arm. "Let me go! I had a date!" "Date? What date?" "With Alexander Wolfe." He laughed. "There is no Alexander Wolfe. He's me!" "You pretended to be him just to get in my pants?" "Hell no. I mean you got the pretending part right. But I'm not going to sleep with you." "What are you-" Just before I questioned him I blacked out. I remember now... I remember who that guy is now... The guy who just pretended to be my online boyfriend. I heard it on the news. He was a famous killer that wore a poodle mask; he lures women in just to either rape or kill them, or do both. He's a psychopath, and he's mentally unstable. His name is Tobias Hellström He lives in Gothenburg, Sweden. He pretends to live in a random location then flies to wherever his victim is at.
The police was never be able to catch him since he's so secretive and sneaky. Not to mention a liar...
