Magnus shakes his head. "I need to get out of here." He begins to form a portal when Alec stands up and grabs his arm. "Please." Alec only said one word, but it was delivered with such desperation that Magnus huffed and sat down. They spent the rest of the time bantering.

Magnus fell asleep on the sofa, Alec watching nearby. "I want you back Mags." He whispered, gently running his fingers through his boyfriend's hair. Cat, like she heard his prayers, opened a portal, and walked in. She looked drained, but she had something in her hand. "Found it." She said softly, trying not to wake Magnus up.

Alec stood up as Cat walked over to Magnus. "I dum..ri dar." She began chanting, her eyes fluttering already. Alec gently stopped her. "Catarina. You are drained. You need to rest. We can do this tomorrow." Cat looked confused. "I thought you wanted him back as soon as possible Alec."

She said weakly. Alec shook his head. "Yes I do but I don't want you to hurt yourself in the process." Catarina smiled, her heartwarming up at the kind words of the Shadowhunter. "You have a good heart, Alec. No Shadowhunter has ever cared enough to say that to me. Magnus found it the one who he's been looking for."

Cat let out a laugh. Alec smiled fondly as he takes out a soda for Cat. She sits down on the couch and takes a sip. "So how's it been? You know taking care of Magnus?" She teased, a bit more comfortable with the Lightwood boy now. Alec sends her an exasperated look.

"He hates me." Alex muttered. Catarina laughed. "When a love spell is broken, the affected person gets confused, thus they impose themselves on everyone but their true love." Cat explained. Alec still looked a bit confused. "Consider it a major compliment if he shows hatred." Cat says laughing. Alec smiled brightly.
