Shido Pov.

"Incoming spacequake. Laila has appeared on the outskirts of town." Kotori said.

"At least there wont be much damage." Maya said. I agree but I have this bad feeling....I just don't know why.

"Ok Shido. Head to the teleporter and I'll send you dow-" Another alarm began to go off. We all looked up at the monitor. "Another spackequake signiture...but one we have not met yet."

"What!? Another spirit is showing up?!" Tohka said shocked.

"Seems so..." Miku said.

"I'll go now. The AST will be on them both shortly." I say as i run to the teleporter. I stand on the pad and I'm teleported to the egde of the small spackequake hole laila left. She was sitting in the middle, a snake of electricity was trying to comfort her.

"Hissss!" the snake hisses at me when it spots me.

"What is it Fang?" Laila says as she places her hand on the snakes head. It hisses again. Laila turns her head. "Oh its you again. Shido right?"

"Yea...um Laila-" I started but an alarm went off in my ear. Laila tilted her head in confussion.

"The other spacequake is occurring near you! Get yourself and Laila out of there!" Kotori yelled at me.

"Let us go somewhere. Its not safe here." I tell Laila. She stood.

"What do you mean?" she questioned. I sigh.

"You see what u did to this area...completly destroyed. Well another spackequake is about to occur." I explain. "Plus the AST are on thier way." The wind began to blow. I look out toward the sound of buildinds crumbling. Laila rushed over to me with her angel.

"Oh my!? Isn't that your friend?!" Laila said as she pointed toward the spirit that showed up. I looked at the spirit. My jaw probably hit the floor.

"Alice?!" I said shocked.

"Shido something is wrong with her. She isn't herself. She wouldn't cause this much damage." Kotori said.

"She even looks different....oh no. Kotori....she inversed!" I said as i looked over my friend. Her golden dress had turn black. The glowing areas had turned crimson red. The vines enlongated and were sharper.

"Inversed? What dose that mean?" Laila asked.

"An explanation will have to wait. For now just know this. She won't know you and she is very powerful." I told her.

"Um....Shido. She is glaring at us." Laila said. Right now I wish the AST would show up. I know they won't really be able to beat her, but they could keep her atention off of me.

In the distance I saw the faint glint of metal. The AST were almost there. Alice turned toward them.

"Come Luna..." she said in a growl. That small black cat came from nowhere. She was different too. Her fur was spiked up. Ears pointed back and eyes glaring. "Lunar Shift!" She glowed a dark purple, her form changing into a tiger. "Now Lunar Eclipse!" Luna roared as spikes grew, her talons extending.

The AST finally arrived. Of course their weapons have no affect and they are getting beatten by a spike covered tiger. Even Origami was having trouble.

"At this rate they will be killed." I say as I clench my teeth.

"Shido...I'm sending everyone down to help. See if Laila can help us capture her." Kotori said. I turned to Laila.

"Laila...can you help us. We need to restrain Alice so she won't kill anyone." I asked. She looked at Alice, shaking slightly.

"I-I don't know...she is the strongest spirit I have met..." she said.

"Hey Shido! We have come to help!" I hear Tohka yell. Everyone was already in their limited astral dress. I turned back to Laila.

"If you won't help, get somewhere safe." I told her. I turned back toward Alice. "Alright everyone...lets try to restrain her without too many injuries." By now the AST were wiped out. The twins took to the sky trying to get Luna's attention, Miku was powering everyone up. Tohka was going for Alice for a sword fight. I go over toward Alice to try to get her mind back.

Soon the twins were down. Luna was also down so they did great. Alice took a few shots at Miku and got here down. Tohka was barley standing now, her limited astral dress disappeared as she fell. Alice chuckled as she looked over at me. She looked to her right and grinned. I followed her glare and saw Laila hiding behind a piece of building. I mentally facepalm. When I said somewhere safe I meant far away. At least her angel can protect her....hopefully. She doesn't seem to have much combat experience. I focus on summoning Sandolphon.

Laila Pov.

Why didn't i fight with him...he asked for my help, but I'm too scared to fight Alice. I peek around the corner of the building when things go silent. I see her walking toward my hiding spot. A grin spread across her face and a wooden sword in her hand.

"Why weren't you playing with us? You missed some fun. Now I will play with you until you can't play no more!" Alice giggled. I began to tremble. Fang jumped toward her. She slashed him with her sward and Fang disappeared.

"So strong....able to take Fang out with one hit..." I whispered. She took another step.

"Stop Alice!" I heard Shido yell. Alice paid no attention. "I said stop!" Ice shot up around me.

"Heh heh...you still think I'm Alice. But that is not true. I am Shade." Alice said.

"So your inverse has a name." Shido said.

"You think I'm an inverse. You are mistaken. While Alice was in her uncle's lab getting those shots, her mind created me. I felt all the painof those shots. This power is hers. She just doesn't know how to use it." Shade explained.

"That makes sense...but the change of your armor made it seem like you inversed." Shido said.

"Heh....so you thought." Shade chuckled.

Shido Pov.

I gripped Sandolphon tightly. Shade stared at me. She didn't make a move. It's like she is waiting for me to move first. I notice Laila grab a metal pipe. Maybe if I stall Shade...she could knock her out.

"So everytime Alice didn't seem like herself....it was you right?" I asked.

"Yes...all those times....it was me, but I was only able to stay for a short time." Shade replied.

"Why only a short time?" I asked.

"Alice had a strong mind. When she rented that mythlogical book her mind began to weaken. She was looking into the wierd things I did. It made her worry about what was going on in her head. It helped me though." Shade explained.

"I see..." I saw that Laila was ready to swing. I gsve a slight nod. She brought the pipe down hard on Shade's head. She fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Nice job stalling her." Laila said. I sighed.

"Yea and nice idea with the pipe." I told her. I push the button on my ear piece. "Kotori...has everyone gotten medical treatment yet?"

"Yes. They are now resting. Id get Laila out of there beforw the AST get up...or there paramedics come." Kotori said.

"Hey Laila." I started.

"Yea?" she replied.

"Lets get out of here. If you need any medical atention come with me to the Fraxinus." I offered her. She nodded.

"Ok Kotori...bring us up." We were teleported...all three of us. When we got on the Fraxinus some men came to take Alice/Shade to a special medical room. I led Laila to the normal medical room. Laila was fine...only a few scraps from the pieces of building.

"Um...Shido...I'd like to thank you for saving me..." Laila said. I turned to her. "And for your thanks...please close your eyes." I closed my eyes......she kissed me. I decided to keep my eyes closed just in case.

"Ah!? Shido...." Laila screamed.

"There should be a robe over in the closet." i tell her, still keeping my eyes closed.

"Ok...you can open your eyes. Can you please explain what just happened." Laila asked. Oh boy....here it goes.

I explain to her my ability and how i can seal a spirits power.

"You see now..." I ask. She nods.

"I'm going to go see if i can find something else to wear..." Laila said as she headed for the door.

"Wait and I'll contact Riene." I said. She nodded and sat on a chair. Things are always eventful for me...
