Y/n's POV

After training my dating skills by playing "My Little Shido" on the computer, I was told to practice my speed and spirit powers. Kotori, Shido, and Reine observed me. Kotori helped me manage my spirit powers.

Kotori: Your first step is to try to absorb a small amount of spirit mana.

Y/n: Like using my hand to absorb light like in superhero comics?

Kotori: Exactly. Remember, relax and focus.

I nodded, calmed myself, and absorbed my spirit mana in the palm of my hand. I waited patiently. Then, a glowing light appeared, and my eyes opened to see what was happening to my hand. Shido, Kotori, and Reine were astonished.

Shido: *Surprised* That looks amazing!

Reine: There is still a chance that he can control his powers.

Kotori: Eh, I've seen better. Anyways, Y/n, I want you to throw it into the walls.

Y/n: Are you sure? I don't want to damage the ship.

Kotori: Don't worry. This ship is built from a special metal and can manage the effects.

Y/n: *Deep breaths* Okay.

I throw the orb at the wall and create a blast. I was surprised that it worked.

Kotori: Good work. Now, the next step is to switch between your human form and hedgehog form.

I started to focus my mind. I then feel my body shifting forms.

Y/n: Let's do this!

I successfully changed into my hedgehog form as I struck a pose.

Shido: Wow, he can manage without any mistakes.

Reine: He has the patience to do what it takes to use his powers.

Kotori: Yes Y/n! Now, what you're about to do is fight and protect yourself. Training dummies will be attacking you, and lasers will be fired. Are you ready?

I took deep breaths and gave her a determined look.

Y/n: I'm ready.

Just then, training dummies attacked me, and I used my homing attack to hit them. Then, lasers appeared to fire at me, and I quickly dodged them. Six minutes later, I managed to get the hang of it. The training was over, and I was exhausted.

Shido: That was amazing, Y/n! You managed to pull yourself alone.

Reine: Indeed.

Kotori: Well, if it wasn't for me, then you would be just as useless as Shido here.

Shido: Hey!

I then hugged Kotori. As I did that, her face heated up because I was so close to her.

Y/n: Thank you, Kotori. Thank you for improving me.

Kotori: *Blushing hard* Y-y-yeah.. N-no problem.

I broke the hug, and Kotori tried to compose herself.

Kotori: A-anyways, now that you're trained, you are going to practice your dating skills with girls, face-to-face.

Y/n: Okay, who do I start with?

Later

Kotori told me that Ms. Okamine would be my first girl to practice with. However, I'm concerned about this.

Y/n: ...Okay, so out of all the girls I'm practicing to hit on, you're expecting me to hit on my homeroom teacher?

Kotori: *Comms* You've done your hard training, and you must put it to good use with someone.

Yesterday evening

Reine tries to put something in my ear.

Reine: Hold still, Y/n, this won't take long.

I held still for a moment, and then she was done as I stood up.

Reine: I put an earpiece so that it's easier to communicate with you.

Y/n: Thanks, Reine.

Present day

I still feel like it was wrong to do this kind of act.

Y/n: Can't someone else do it instead of me?

Kotori: *Comms* Ugh! Fine! I'll have Shido train with her.

I walk up to Ms. Okamine.

Y/n: Ms. Okamine? Shido would like to speak with you.

Ms. Okamine: Oh really? Where's-

Shido: Hey, Y/n, Kotori said that you needed me.

Y/n: Shido, do you remember you told me that you needed to talk with Ms.Okamine about something?

Shido: I did?

Kotori: *Comms* Play along, idiot!

Shido: O-oh, right! I did!

Shido began to laugh nervously as I walked away.

Kotori: *Comms* And Y/n, you need to stay here.

Y/n: So that I can take notes on how to flirt with women? Sure, I can do that.

Kotori felt struck by his smartness.

Kotori: *Comms* Y-yeah. You do that. Just stay out of her line of sight while Shido talks to her. Now hurry! They're already talking!

I walk behind the pillar to eavesdrop on Shido.

Shido: Ms. Okamine? That's a...cute outfit you're wearing.

Ms. Okamine: What? Goodness, you really think so? Oh my, that's very flattering of you.

Shido: Oh yes! It really does look good on you! So do your hair and...sexy glasses.

Y/n: Um...

Shido: Perfect shoes, perfect stockings, perfect attendance book. *Laughs nervously*

Y/n: Shido, I think that's way too creepy.

Ms. Okamine: Shido, is everything alright?

Kotori: *Comms* Y/n is right! You went way into that!

With that, the conversation continued. However, things went completely out of hand.

Shido: *Sighs* The truth is, I'm in love with you. The reason for this is that I love homeroom classes, and I always get to see you every day. I couldn't help myself.

Ms. Okamine: Oh! Come on, don't say such sweet things! I'm flattered, honestly! But students and teachers can't love each other!

Shido: No! Don't tell me that! I'm dead serious...I want to marry you!

Ms. Okamine: You want to....MARRY ME?!

Y/n:

Ms. Okamine: Aaahhh! Is it true? Once you're old enough, I'll be thirty, is that okay? You'll meet my parents! Daddy gets so protective, but I think he might like you! He might even give us the house! And once you graduate and get a decent job, I can retire and be having babies! Then you will-

Y/n: Wow...That....was something. Are adults really that desperate for marriage?

Reine: *Comms* Huh, we underestimated a 29-year-old. They are easy targets.

Kotori: *Comms* It'll be annoying if she gets involved than necessary. Y/n, make up an excuse and get Shido out of there, pronto!

Y/n: On it!

I ran up and grabbed Shido's hand.

Y/n: I'm sorry, Ms. Okamine. He's not ready for that kind of commitment!

Shido and I ran as fast as we could away from Ms. Okamine.

Kotori: *Comms* You sure know how to up your game with older women. I'm impressed.

Y/n: And by impressed, do you mean for the fact that Shido almost had to marry his-Ouch!

I accidentally bumped into someone, and we both fell to the ground.

Y/n: Ah... Sorry about that. Are you alright?

I looked up to see a girl whose legs were opened wide, revealing her white panties. She quickly sat up, revealing Origami.

Origami: I'm alright.

Kotori: *Comms* Just at the right time! Y/n, you can put up your A-game with Origami.

Y/n: (I think this should be okay since we're the same age. I might want to talk about her proposal and get to know each other better.) Hey Origami, how have you been doing?

Origami: I'm doing good, thank you. How about you?

Y/n: I'm doing good as well, thank you.

With that, there was a short silence between us. Then, I spoke my mind clearly.

Y/n: Listen Origami. About what you said to me the other day. I think I would like to take it into consideration. Ever since I met you, I didn't know how to start to get to know you. But now, I realize that I can be myself to those around me, especially you, Origami. So if it's with you, would you like to go out with me to get to know each other as friends and maybe something more?

Origami, who usually has an emotionless expression, starts to blush at what I said. There was silence again.

Kotori: *Comms* ....Wow. He's even better than you, Shido.

Shido: *Whispering* Oh, come on! There's no way she can-

Origami: *Blushes* I don't mind.

Shido, Kotori, and the rest of Ratatoskr are surprised by this.

Y/n: Really?

Origami: Yes. *Blushes* In fact, I wanted to get to know you more.

She gets close to my face, and I get red.

Y/n: *Smiles* I'd like that.

After that, she hands me a picture of her in her school uniform.

Origami: *Smiling a bit and blushing* This is to remember me by~

I blush at her forwardness.

Y/n: Thanks. I'll keep this to remind me of you.

With that, she walked away.

Kotori: *Comms* I didn't know you could pull this off so easily.

Y/n: Well, if I want to try and get to know her better, I think it's worth a shot. Besides, I really like to get to know her better.

Shido: I thought you said that you didn't want to date girls.

Y/n: That's because there are some of them that see me as a gofer and not for who I am. However, Origami is not one of them, and she seems like a nice girl.

Kotori" *Comms* Ooohhh~ Y/n, are you interested in her?

Y/n: To be honest, I do have a thing for her. Not just for her looks but for who she is on the inside.

Shido: Wow Y/n...I didn't know you were this honest about Origami.

Y/n: What can I say? I'm a nice guy. Now, with that settled, we should go find the spirit girl that I encountered yesterday.

Just then, the Spacequak alarm sounded.

Y/n: Starting now.

Kotori: Y/n, I got spirit readings that she's about to appear at the other side of the school.

Y/n: Right!

Shido: Be careful, Y/n. Don't get yourself killed out there.

Y/n: *Cocky tone* Careful? Where's the fun in that?

I ran to a janitor's closet to hide myself from the crowd while Shido got teleported to Fraxinus.
