FIVE MINUTES.

That was how long time has passed by. The booth was still seen from their sights even when they were already walking away from it.

It has only been a few minutes but Donghyuck felt like it's taking forever for four hours to be over with. "You know what, you can keep the money."

Walking right beside him, Mark had his brow raised at the conversation start pack. "What?"

"Think of it as charity." Donghyuck said, making up reasons just to get away from this mess.

"Do I look like charity to you?" Clicking his tongue, Mark was slightly offended by that remark. "Forget it, you signed the papers so let's get this over with."

"It's really nothing serious." Telling him, Donghyuck scooted a little bit to the left as he noticed their shoulders bumping every now and then. "I don't really mind if the money—"

"It's not about the money, Dongfuck." Mark immediately cuts him off. "Aren't you desperate to have a date on Valentine's day?"

"Dongfuck?" His attention was somewhere else rather than having a date on Valentine's. Donghyuck was bothered by it.

Meanwhile, Mark kept on talking. "I may be mad at you for what you did, but I know how to set boundaries to my grudges."

"Excuse me." Donghyuck stopped his tracks, folding his arms across his chest. He still hasn't moved on from that certain nickname.

Mark did so the same, standing in front of him as the other paused from walking. He then spread his arms to the side as if he was inviting the guy for a hug. "You paid for a boyfriend, a boyfriend you will get."

"Mark Lee, my name is Lee Donghyuck." Fixing his glasses, annoyance was shown clearly on Donghyuck's expression. "Not Dongfuck or whatever you still have in mind."

Looking at him straight in the eye, Mark can't help but also scan his face and notice something that he couldn't pinpoint. It's like the word was at the tip of his tongue, but he can't seem to say it. He continued to stare at the details on the male's face until it slowly turned to an action called admiration.

The way the heat went straight to the male's face, as if giving him the spotlight. The way Donghyuck's eyes fluttered at him as he waited for his response. The way his cheeks are all puffed with how impatient he is in waiting. And the way the sun kissed his skin.

Suddenly, the lips that kept on blabbering looked plum and soft for Mark.

"Hey, are you even listening—"

"Sunshine." That was what Mark concluded.

Of course, it took Donghyuck aback. He was there, complaining and cursing at how his name is being word played, and all of a sudden he gets a compliment from him? A nickname that could make Donghyuck's heart race?

Seeing that it shut him up, Mark snapped back to his senses and saw what the younger's weakness was. "What were you saying, Sunshine?"

Now that felt like sarcasm. Donghyuck was glad that the fluttering moment didn't last long. He could have sworn he felt his heart almost coming out from his chest. "Don't call me that."

"Why?" Smirking, Mark was definitely enjoying himself. "It's part of the boyfriend package."

"Boyfriend package my ass!" Leaving him there, Donghyuck began to walk away.

Giggling, Mark tailed from behind before he actually caught up with the upset male, finally walking beside him again. "Come on, Sunshine. For all I know, you have feelings for me. I'm going to bet you'll be kicking your feet and screaming in bed because I called you the sweetest nickname you can ever imagine."

"How cocky!" Scoffing his disbelief, Donghyuck internally wanted to smack this guy's head for stating something that isn't true. "Not even an hour into the date and I badly want to return you back to your friends."

"That's kind of harsh, Sunshine—"

"Stop calling me that." Donghyuck faced him, pointing his index finger at the male as if he was giving him a warning. "It's annoying!"

"Is it?" That playful smile was still plastered on Mark's lips. The more irritated the other one is, the more entertained he gets. "Tell me, is it really annoying?"

No, it's making Donghyuck feel butterflies inside his stomach that's why he should stop calling him that. "Yes."

"Suit yourself then," Shrugging his shoulders, Mark took hold of the male's finger that's pointing at him and worked out a way to hold his hand. "Love."

"Leave me alone!" Donghyuck whined as he kept on pulling his hand back only to fail as the older one had a tight grip on it.

"No can do, Sunshine." Mark told him, enjoying every second of teasing him. "I'll be your boyfriend for four hours. As the person you have feelings for, I'm doing you a favor."

"Me? Having feelings for you?" Be fucking for real, Donghyuck gagged at the idea. "Yuck!"

"Such a violent reaction for someone who desperately wanted to rent me out." Mark said, dragging the younger one with him as the other kept on pulling back his hand.

"Mark!"

Turning around to face him, the said male looked at him and waited for the other to continue what he was about to say— only to catch him being all flustered with his cheeks turning bright red.

Was he constipated? Mark had to ask. "What's wrong with you?"

"My hand is sweating." Donghyuck admitted as he lowered the volume of his voice. "Let go of me."

"And how is it my fault that your hand is sweating?" Mark didn't seem to find anything wrong with that.

"It's because I'm nervous, you shit!" Throwing tantrums in his spot, Donghyuck couldn't take the embarrassment anymore. He was not used to having anyone hold his hand.

Somehow Mark may have, just a tiny bit, found it adorable.

Instead of letting go, Mark interlocked their fingers. "You're stuck with me for four long hours, Sunshine."

Seems like he'll be enjoying this date after all.

On the other hand, three curious guys were following from behind. They heard every single word as they were eavesdropping. They found it funny that the two were arguing only to have them walk hand in hand to God knows where they'll spend their date. They saw the potential in their relationship, and they also saw how their own friend was growing interested little by little as they began to spend time with each other.

However, Johnny can't help but notice. "Why is Mark too good at this? Since when did he learn how to be sweet?"

"That's your concern?" Doyoung gave him a look. "You know what I'm worried about? Mark is planning something to get back at Donghyuck for ruining his date."

"You're too negative." Johnny had no idea why he let him tag along. He just wanted to enjoy seeing his friend experience what love is like. Though, because it was being brought up, Johnny had to ask further questions about it. "What did Donghyuck do?"

"He spilled juice on Mark's pants," Jungwoo answered, taking his eyes off from the couple of four hours for a short while. "By accident."

"Nah, that's just bullshit." There was no way that Mark would hold a grudge for a mistake that's done unintentionally. Johnny knew he was better than that. "I think he's just finding a reason to actually get close to him."

With the two talking about their friend, Doyoung ran a hand through his hair, looking stressed as his eyes scanned the area only to find nothing. "Great, we lost them."

"What?!" Both Johnny and Jungwoo said in chorus.

FIRST HOUR.

"Please tell me we aren't doing this." Donghyuck stared at the familiar building before diverting his attention at the guy he's with, who's having a bright smile.

"This is the perfect place to have a date!" Mark exclaimed, kind of proud that he had thought of this.

"A gaming arcade, really, Mark?" This was not what Donghyuck had expected for them to go. He thought they'd be riding bikes around the park, having a stroll down the river, or having a picnic.

The weather was perfect for them to actually do all those.

Mark had different plans. You could actually assume that he was trying to ruin their date. However, Mark genuinely did think that the arcade was one of the places that's best to have their dates.

He was hoping that his date would also love it. "Didn't you say you were good at shooting?"

"I said I was competitive, I never said I'm good at shooting." Donghyuck told him with a groan. "Mark, let's just—"

"Sunshine." Mark knew he had no talent in being cute or acting cute in that sense. However, a conscience inside pushed him to do the challenge. He didn't know why he was comfortable in doing so. "Mark wants to play. Can't we stay here and play?"

Donghyuck's initial reaction was to stay frozen in his place, shocked at the male's attempt in acting cute. He had his lips pouted and his voice raising up a pitch. It was then that he burst out laughing, genuinely finding the attempt adorable but at the same time he found it funny for being unexpected.

"Mark wants to play?" Donghyuck joined in, also puckering his lips and puffing his cheeks. Unlike the other one, being cute was his forte. This is what he does best, especially in convincing his friends in doing something that he likes. "Okay then, let's do what my Mark wants. Ah, adorable!"

However, it was Mark's turn to stay still in his spot for a different reason.

How can someone be this fucking cute?

Was it the sweater? Or how he looked small in his outfit? Maybe it's how fluffy his hair is, or how his eyes glistened behind those glasses. Probably how plum his cheeks are— or how kissable his lips were.

Whatever it fucking is, it surely is messing with Mark's head. Not to mention, his heart was beating fast as if it wanted to ruin his rib cage.

"Mark?" Calming himself down from laughing, Donghyuck wiped the tears from his cheeks. "Let's go?"

"Huh?" Shaking his head, Mark mentally slapped himself for thinking of such a thing. "Ye... Yeah, let's go."

The place was filled with screams and loud noise. This was far from the library that Donghyuck got used to. He actually does play games on his computer, but being at an arcade somehow overwhelmed him. There were many things going on. People bumping into each other, machines playing its sound at the same time, curse words going across from one corner to another, and laughter of different kinds filled the area.

The new environment overwhelmed him, but he wanted to get used to it. Though it felt like a lot was going on, Donghyuck can't help but get excited to have fun.

Mark was there to admire all kinds of emotions that Donghyuck was going through.

There was this zombie shooting game that caught Donghyuck's attention. He quickly pointed a finger at it as he snapped his head towards his date. "Mark! Let's try that one out!"

Cute. How many times has Mark said that inside his head? "Alright then."

With the both of them getting ahead before anyone else, the two got into position with Mark inserting a coin and adjusting himself to their set up. Meanwhile, Donghyuck was clueless on what the correct way of holding the gun was. Mark noticed the younger one struggling, but couldn't seem to focus much as their first wave already began. He was a sucker for arcade games, Mark put all his focus to win this round just so he could use the next round to teach his date how to play.

"Can't believe you lied in your resumé." Mark commented, seeing how the other was shooting everywhere except for the target.

"I said I was competitive—" Donghyuck felt himself not breathing as he could feel his own date pressing his body on his back. "Hey..."

"Here, let me teach you." Mark sounded serious as he held the gun alongside the younger's hands that were gripping on it.

With Mark instructing him carefully on what to do, Donghyuck couldn't seem to focus on his words. What had his attention more was feeling Mark's face pressing on his cheek. He prayed to the heavens above that his date can't feel how hot his face has become with how glued they are with one another.

"Sunshine, shoot!" Mark instructed, teaching him so he could learn how to play.

"Ahh!" Donghyuck began to panic at the pressure, but nonetheless improved. He was better than how they played during the first round. "Mark, there are more!"

Mark clicked his tongue as he quickly took his gun with one hand, and the other hand sliding down to Donghyuck's waist unknowingly as he was in the middle of teaching him how to shoot just a second ago. As if it was also a casual thing for them, Donghyuck was more in awe at how good his date was in shooting at the right targets. His eyes kept on going back and forth from the screen and then at his date, feeling a squeeze on the side of his waist when Mark missed a shot.

Even so, Donghyuck was amazed at how the other was good at playing this game.

"What, Sunshine?" Mark asked, noticing his pair only looking at him and not helping him shoot.

"You look so cool." Donghyuck complimented, his eyes sparkling as he swooned over him.
