~Chapter 27~

~Mission With A Dumbass~

"You people...." I sighed, sweatdropping at the scene I had walked in on.

Pain and Konan instantly jumped away from each other, their expressions turning blank.

I rose an eyebrow, smirking. "Enjoy sucking each others faces off?"

"Shut up. Now go do your mission." Pain ordered, throwing me a scroll.

"With who?" I asked, quickly skimming over it.

"Sasori."

My eye twitched and I looked up at him with a glare before sighing and walking out. I headed down the hall, barging into Sasori and Deidara's room. The blonde looked up from where he was changing his shirt, his hair loose for once. I tore my gaze away from him with some struggle to look at my brother who hadn't moved from his puppet making.

"Sasori, we got a mission." I then threw the scroll at his head but he, unfortunately, caught it.

"Am I going, un?" Deidara asked curiously, pulling his shirt over his head.

I shook my head, hooking a thumb towards the dumbass. "Nah. Just me and him. Pain's, unfortunate, orders."

He nodded, sitting on his bed as he started to fix his half ponytail. Meanwhile Sasori had finished reading the scroll and was now looking at me.

"Don't get in my way, brat."

I scoffed, walking out. "Don't get in MY way, brother." I sneered the last word before slamming their door shut.

I headed down the hall, entering the kitchen to get a quick meal before we headed out. I sweatdropped when we entered, sighing.

"Is everyone sucking face today?" I asked. Kisame and Itachi immediately jumped apart from each other and I walked in between them, heading for the fridge. They glared over at me as I swung open the door and I rose an eyebrow. "What? If you didn't want me interrupting, get to your room."

Kisame's eye twitched and I smirked, pulling out a rice ball. I ate it quickly before searching for more food, my stomach growling.

"She has a point." Itachi muttered and I saw Kisame's glare switch to him.

"Just go fuck each other or something. The lust radiating between you two is very annoying." I grumbled, shutting the fridge door with a few dango sticks. They started glaring at me again and I smirked, quickly eating them before grabbing a soda from the fridge as an afterthought.

"See ya." I nodded in their direction before transporting into my room. I quickly started grabbing scrolls and vials, putting them in my tool belt. Once I was done I slung on my Akatsuki cloak, transporting back into the living room as I took a sip from my soda.

Sasori was just coning down the hall in Hiruko and I rolled my eyes, mumbling under my breath before he came to a stop beside me.

"Ready?" He growled.

I nodded, opening the door as it appeared. Sasori shuffled out and I sighed before closing the door and walking by his side, my hands in my pants pockets.

This was going to be a long mission.

I popped my third soldiers pill into my mouth, glancing around at the town we were walking through. We haven't stopped walking since leaving the base and I was getting annoyed with it. I had finally resorted to eating a soldiers pill when I had thought about climbing onto Hiruko's back for a quick nap.

"He should be here." Sasori growled, speaking for the first time. I glanced over at him before rolling my eyes and looking around with narrowed eyes. We were in another pleasure town and it was starting to annoy the crap out of me. Especially with a lot of people glancing at either me or Sasori.

The dumbass had gotten out of Hiruko a little while ago for some reason and had sent the puppet into a scroll for safe keeping.

I sighed as Sasori started growling to himself about keeping people waiting and started looking around for the woman we were supposed to kill. Lately she's been seducing men and leaving them cut to pieces in back alleys. This, of course, made people scared and they stopped coming.

So that's how the vendors put together money for us to exterminate the woman causing this. Overall it was a fairly easy mission.

Sasori suddenly grunted and I glanced over to see a hilarious sight. With some trouble I contained my laughter, watching as the big-boobed woman clung to my brother's arm. She started whispering in his ear, trying to seduce him no doubt, as I looked over her. She had pumpkin orange hair with green eyes, freckles and she overall wore very skimpy clothing. I subtly glanced at her back, seeing the distinctive blue crescent moon tattoo on her shoulder blade before nodding over at Sasori. His blank face morphed into a perverted smile, instant playing along with Aitsuki's act as he rested a hand on her bare hip.

I nodded, seeing his finger tip open and a poisoned senbon pierced her flesh. Her eyes widened in pain and she jumped away from him as Sasori expression faded back to its normal emotionless state.

"Aitsuki, I presume? Nice to meet you. We were commissioned to kill you." I said sweetly. She glared at the both of us, putting a hand to her hip.

"What did you do to me?!" She growled.

"Poison." Sasori answered blankly. Her face blanched and she sliced open the wound more, hoping to let the poisoned blood drain no doubt. I snorted, stuffing my hands into my pockets.

"Oh please. That poison has infected your tissues and your kidney already." I told her. She glared over at me.

"How the hell do you know?!"

"I stole my brother's poison notebook a few weeks back and memorized it all." Sasori's eyes snapped to me in a glare and I smirked, nodding to the girl as her body became limp. Her eyes were full of terror and fear and I grinned.

"Bye-bye." I gave a closed-eye smile, waving my open hand. It was like that time Gin did that in Bleach during the Aizen arc. Forgot the actual name of the arc but still. So sad when the snake died....though, he reminded me more of a fox. GinRan forever!!

Whoa....random thoughts.

I pushed them away, pulling out a scroll. I summoned on of my hawk puppet which had about a ten foot wingspan. I grabbed Aitsuki's corpse, throwing it onto the back of the bird and started walking to the head vendors place. When his eyes rested on me and Sasori, who was busy silently following me, his eyes lit up.

"Did you get her?"

I nodded, motioning for him to follow me outside. I made the hawk puppet land and he caught sight of Aitsuki. His eyes widened and he grinned, turning to me and shaking my hand.

"Thank you! Finally business will return to normal and the bitch got what was coming. I'll get your money." I nodded, watching as he went into the building. A few moments later he returned, handing me a large sack. I quickly checked it, counting the Ryo to make sure he wasn't scamming us before nodding to Sasori. He simply nodded back as I twitched my fingers. The hawk's head turned backwards, its jaws opening and a current of flame pouring through its mouth. The body of Aitsuki was turned to dust and I nodded, having the puppet return to its scroll.

"Lets go home." I sighed, popping another soldiers pill in my mouth. Sasori watched me silently before leading the way. I thought about the three day walk back I'd have to endure before frowning and grabbing Sasori's arm. He turned to me as I did the teleportation jutsu, appearing in the hideout's living room.

I blinked rapidly, swaying out my feet. Using that jutsu to travel such a great distance had instantly put my chakra levels to 1%.

"I'm going to sleep...." I muttered as Deidara walked in, his mouth opening. I didn't get to hear what he said as, in the next second, I had passed out.

~3RD Person POV~

Deidara walked into the living room, surprised to see Daseki and Sasori standing there. Especially since Sasori's eyes actually held surprise and Daseki looked like she was about to pass out.

Deidara was about to say something when Daseki started swaying before falling over. The blonde was instantly at her side, catching her.

He looked up at Sasori-danna in confusion and the redhead gruffly answered. "She hasn't slept in three days and has been running on soldier pills. Plus she just used a teleportation jutsu to avoid a three day travel, the idiot."

Deidara's eyes widened before he picked up the girl, heading up to the alcove. Sasori, meanwhile, went down the hall, his thoughts swirling as he headed to Pain's office.
