more than a crush

I lathered my body up with body soap, I haven't had a shower in I don't even remember. It felt good to be clean. One thing I hated about the apocalypse was not being unable to shower or brush my teeth, I was so used to being able to have these things. I got used to cleaning myself with just water or baby wipes but never felt clean enough. I grabbed a new razor that was given to us by a lady and grabbed the shaving cream. I started shaving the hair away, I watched as the hairs went down the drain. I shaved everywhere and by everywhere I mean everywhere. I finished showering and stepped out. I dried myself and applied lotion, I felt so soft. I put on a pair of jeans and a long sleeve. I decided not to put my boots on since I was going to be inside with Carol.

As I walked downstairs I bumped into Daryl. He smelled good and he looked nice.

"Sorry, Daryl." I smiled, "Didn't see you."

"it's alright, where you headed to?" asked Daryl

"Downstairs. I'm going to help Carol bake."

"Save me some," said Daryl heading into the bathroom.

I smiled as I kept walking downstairs.

"Why are you smiling?" smirked Carol

"I just bumped into Daryl."

"You still have a crush on him? When are you gonna tell him?" asked Carol

"I don't know. I'm scared he doesn't see me like that. Plus, I'm still insecure that I'm not his type."

"You're definitely my type (y/n)" said Daryl from behind me

I blushed, "I didn't know you were here, sorry."

Carol smirked, "I'll leave you too."

"You got a crush on me?" asked Daryl getting closer

"Yes, I've had one since the prison. I didn't know if you saw me like that."

"I see you more than a crush (y/n). I like you too," said Daryl kissing my cheek

I smiled, "I like you too Daryl. Now go I need to help Carol."
