It's been a few years since Daryl and I confessed our feelings for each other. No one really expected it but they soon got used to the idea especially my parents Rick and Michonne. Soon enough I found out I was pregnant and Daryl was so excited to be a father.

"We have to tell Rick," I said smiling at Daryl.

Daryl's face changed to blank and he started pacing the room, "Do we?"

"Daryl? What's wrong?"

"Rick is someone close to me, I don't want him getting' mad," said Daryl

I got up and walked towards him," Babe, he won't be mad, he'll be excited too."

Daryl finally agreed with me and we headed towards their house.

"Dad? Are you guys home?" I said calling out into the house.

Dad walked down the stairs and smiled, "Hey (y/n), Daryl. Is everything okay?"

I grabbed Daryl's hand, "We're pregnant!"

"Really? Congrats guys!" said Rick hugging me, "But Daryl you have to promise to protect them."

Daryl nodded, "You don't gotta worry 'bout that."

Nine months after...

I felt pain in my stomach and suddenly I felt water down my legs, I was going into labor.

"D-Daryl!"

Daryl ran into the room, "What?"

"The b-baby it's coming! Call Maggie!"

"I can't leave ya!" said Daryl

I shook my head, "It's okay. Go h-hurry!"

Soon enough Maggie was right next to me checking me out.

I yelled out feeling pain rush through my body, "It's coming! I can feel it!"

Daryl brushed hair out of my face, "Maggie do somethin'!"

"Okay (y/n), you're going to need to push when I tell you okay?" said Maggie

I yelled out into I felt something slip out, cries filled the room. Maggie cleaned up the baby and placed it on my arms.

I was in shock; I couldn't believe it. This was my baby. Daryl kissed my cheek, he was in awe too.

"Daryl, our baby is here." I cried, "Is it a girl or boy?"

Maggie smiled, "It's a baby girl."

Daryl had tears in his eyes as he grabbed our baby girl," What's goin' to be her name?"

"Hanna Marie Dixon."

Daryl smiled, "She's perfect." He handed her to me and I couldn't stop smiling.

"I promise to never leave you guys, I will always protect you guys," said Daryl kissing my lips.
