I laid wide awake in my bed, Daryl and I were supposed to go on a food run and I couldn't shake the thought of us being alone. We've hooked up here and there but I craved more and I know he doesn't show emotions but with me it's different. I heard a faint knock on the door and it opened revealing Daryl; shirtless and with pj pants.

"You awake?" asked Daryl
"I can't sleep. Come in." I said patting the bed, "Stay with me, please?"
Daryl laid next to me, the warmth of his body relaxed me.
I laid my head on his shoulder, "Daryl?"
He grunted as a reply, I rolled my eyes he was so short on replies.
