Chapter 19

Third person P.O.V.

Kitty decided to change to a different outfit before she packed. She put on a dark green T-shirt, black shorts, and knee high black boots. Once dressed she went to pack her bag. As she put the last thing in her pack, she put it on her back and left the room.

She walked to Darth Vader's room and knocked on the door. As the door opened she spoke. "What can I do now? I have nothing to entertain myself with." She spoke to the black silhouette in the door frame.

There was a pause.

"Follow me." Said Vader.

Kitty and DV started walking to a place that Kitty had never seen before. It was near the training room. It had targets on one side of the room, and a rack of weapons on the other.

D.V.'S P.O.V.

As soon as we walked in the weapons training room, Kitty was frozen with an expression  of pure untaped awe. She looked from wall to wall, the targets were to the right wall when you walked into the room, and the weapons on the wall to the left. Kitty looked at me with wide pupils. The look was one enough to rival the joy of a kid in a candy store!

"You can grab a weapon and do target practice, I will be standing by the weapons if you need help." I said. She looked at the wall then back at me. With a nod of my head she walked to the wall. She walked alongside it all the way to the end of the wall before turning back around and grabbing a bow and a quiver of arrows.

She stepped away from the wall and pulled the string back with a small amount of effort and aimed the bow at the target, then let the string back to its resting state. She took off her bag and started taking clothes out until she found a gray see through object, and put it on her forearm. She picked the bow back up and placed the quiver on her back got an arrow and armed the bow pointing the arrow down, but lifting the bow as she pulls the string back and aimed. she closed her left eye bow handle in her left hand and string in her right at the ready. Seconds later the string was released and the arrow found its mark. She put the bow at rest and looked at me.

"How did you make the mark on your first try?" I asked her.

"I practiced archery when I was younger." was all she said as she went back to her bag. She pulled out a headset and a small device. put the headset on and pressed several buttons. Picking the bow back up, she shot the rest of the arrows in the targets. As she shot the last one, she put the bow on her back and walked to the targets retrieving all the arrows and putting them back in the quiver and walked back to the wall and put the bow and arrows away.

"I am going to try to shoot a gun, can you help me?" Kitty asked. I walked to the weapon wall and picked up a hand gun. Walking over to her and gave her the gun. She looked over it, making sure not to point the gun at either of us but instead aimed at the ground.

"So... This is the barrel this is the trigger this is the handle?" she asked pointing at the places as she spoke.

"Correct. now do you know how to shoot a gun?" I asked her.

"Well, when I was four-ish, my dad showed me how to shoot his revolver. I made the target the first time, but after the third time my hands where shaking because the back-fire." She said rubbing the back of her neck.

"What is a 'revolver'?" I asked.

"It's a handgun, it has metal bullets, and it has a revolving chamber." She said with ease.

"I have never heard of that type of gun before." I said.

"Well, let us get started with this gun." Kitty said as she walked to the place she was previously and went to a shooting stance.

Kitty's P.O.V.

I walked to the same spot I was with the bow. I got into the stance my uncle taught me and held the gun like my parents taught me, and aimed the gun at the target in front of me. I pulled the trigger and the gun went "PEW" and I hit the edge of the target. I put the gun down and looked at Vader and he nodded for me to continue. I Put the gun back up and aimed again, this time I was going to show off. I Shot the gun repeatedly. Two shots above the bullseye, one on the bullseye, and a lot under the bullseye, then a circle around the outer target. I turned to look at Vader. Even with the mask I could tell he was dumbfounded, I had a smirk on my face, and a smirk on the target.

"Where did you learn how to do that?" DV asked.

"I saw it..." Was all I said as I put the gun away. "Can I make a lightsaber?" I questioned Vader.

"What?" He asked.

"I asked if I could build a lightsaber." I said.

"Maybe later. It is late, you should get some sleep." He said as he opened the door and led me back to my room.

"Ni-Night, Vader." I said as I walked into my room.

"Goodnight, Kitty." He said as I closed the door. Another day done. I lept in the shower and cleaned my day away, all while singing songs from my worlds 80's and 90's music. Another day closer to Darth Vader's' saving, or demise. Another day closer to when father and son will see each other. I started to dry off as I thought of what the future would hold. Will I die before I get home? I get dressed. Will I ever see my friends again? I go to my bed. Would I be able to save Darth Vader? I lay down. Will my friends and family remember me? I close my eyes. Would I ever get home? I fell asleep still asking what if's and what will happen.
