The Sith Warship reached the orbit of Cyclonia. The Dark Side was strong in the planet. Darth Cyclonis and Khem Val met with Darth Anarchis on the bridge.

Darth Anarchis: Today is a glorious day, my apprentice. Today we unearth the secrets of Tulak Hord. It's ancient powers will soon be ours.

Darth Anarchis: Yes, my master.

Darth Anarchis soon led Darth Cyclonis and Khem Val to a shuttle. The shuttle then took them to Cyclonia. The power of the Dark Side was strong in this place. Both Sith Lords could feel it's presence looming over them. What they saw was a barren wasteland ravaged by a constant storm. A dark cloud loomed over the planet as the power of the Dark Side seemed to thrive in this planet.

Darth Anarchis: Such darkness. Such power. The Dark Side is very strong here. 

Khem Val: <This was the sight of a glorious battle. Tulak Hord and I fought traitorous Sith that that attempted to rebel usurp my master's power. Their rebellion was short lived as Tulak Hord obliterated these traitors without mercy. The temple you seek was built in honor of Tulak Hord's glorious victory. It holds ancient power that only the worthy are capable of wielding. >

The shuttle soon landed on Cyclonia. As the Sith Lords departed the shuttle, they saw a great temple looming over them. It was an pyramidal structure that towered over the three. The two Sith Lords were in awe of the temple's size and architecture. It paled even the Sith Academy on Korriban.

Kham Val: <Behold, my master! The Sith Temple of Cyclonia! The monument of Tulak Hord's victory over the traitorous Sith!>

Darth Cyclonis could hear the pride in her servant's voice. This was one of the few times that the Dashade expressed an emotion that wasn't hatred or resentment. Darth Cyclonis felt the same pride he felt despite never serving under Tulak Hord. Darth Anarchis was giddy with anticipation. She knew a great power was hidden inside the temple. She was itching to uncover this power and claim it. 

Darth Anarchis: Shall we, my apprentice?

Darth Cyclonis: With pleasure, my master. 

The two Sith Lords entered the Sith Temple as Khem Val followed them. They saw ancient murals depicting Tulak Hord's victory over the rebellious Sith. They murals depicted Tulak Hord as a conquering warrior and a dark god. Khem Val relished in the memories of the slaughter of the rebellious Sith under Tulak Hord. He fondly remembered the battles he fought with Tulak Hord. Those were the most proud moments of Khem Val's life. 

Darth Anarchis: Fascinating.....

Darth Cyclonis: Khem. Tell me of the battle that happened here.

Khem Val: <During the height of my master's conquest, a group of Sith broke away from his armies and sought to form a weak Empire. I personally followed Tulak Hord as we wiped out the traitorous Sith in a glorious battle. We painted the ground with their blood and marched on their corpses triumphantly. After the battle, a temple was built in honor of that glorious victory.>

Khem Val recounted the battle with pride in his voice. He saw this battle as not only a testament of Tulak Hord's strength, but a personal achievement to Khem Val. As they moved deeper into the temple, they came across a sarcophagus. Darth Cyclonis nodded to Khem Val who hesitantly opened the sarcophagus. As he opened it, he picked up a Sith Holocron. 

Khem Val: <I present you the Holocron of Tulak Hord. Ancient power and wisdom are now yours to control. >

Darth Cyclonis held the Holocron within her hands. She then meditated on the Dark Side and opened the Holocron. It revealed a holographic schematic of an ancient weapon.

Darth Anarchis: I recognize the design. It bears a striking resemblance to the Mass Shadow Generator forged by the engineer Bao Dur. The Mass Shadow Generator used by Revan to end the Mandalorian Wars on Malachor V. Based on the schematics, it appears to be powered by Dark Side energy.

Tulak Hord: <The Mass Shadow Generator is a weapon of ultimate power. But alas, the weapon never saw the light of day as Tulak Hord was betrayed by the cowardly Sith Lord Kallig. Only a being of true power and strength could  operate this weapon and use it's full capabilities.>

Suddenly, Darth Anarchis received a transmission on her holocommunicator. As she answered the call, a holographic image of Darth Malgus. 

Darth Malgus(Hologram): Fellow Sith, citizens of the Empire, too long the strength of the Empire has been beholden to the infighting of the Dark Council and the disappearance of an apathetic Emperor. Sith, children of Sith, warriors everywhere, I declare a new Empire opened to all who long the conquest, freedom from inhibition and the right to follow that passion. The Dark Council is dissolved, those who will join Darth Serevin and supporting me, cast aside your titles and let me lead you to victory!

Upon hearing this, both Sith Lords saw this as a opportunity. Both knew of Darth Malgus's reputation as well as his disdain for the Dark Council. 

Darth Anarchis: What an interesting development! I'm afraid we'll have to wait to uncover Tulak Hord's Mass Shadow Generator. For now, we must join up with Darth Malgus and his new Empire.

Darth Cyclonis: What of the Dark Council? Won't they launch a retaliatory strike?

Darth Anarchis: The Dark Council has greatly weakened since the disappearance of the Emperor. While they have some power, they are nothing more than bickering old fools who seek only to enrich themselves. We could use Malgus's rebellion to destroy a potential problem. It won't be long before the Sith Empire begins to break apart.And once it does, opportunists from all sides will seek to capitalize on the chaos. We must move quickly if we are to gain any advantage over our would be adversaries. 

Darth Cyclonis saw this as an opportunity just like her master. A divided Sith Empire could allow them to amass their own power play, but would also provide an opportunity for their rivals and enemies to make their move. Khem Val would follow Darth Cyclonis while keeping an eye on Darth Anarchis. Both Khem and Cyclonis saw how Darth Anarchis marveled at the Mass Shadow Generator's destructive capabilities and knew she planned to use it for her own goals. In the meantime, Darth Cyclonis would follow her master as they departed from Cyclonia and made their way to Ilum to serve Darth Malgus's new empire. In that single moment, the Sith Empire had completely changed and Darth Cyclonis intended to capitalize on it to it's fullest extent.
