A scarred thumb rubbed against a book cover, and jade green eyes looked out over the field. It was a rainy day, puddles forming quickly as each drop plopped into the water. It was almost mesmerizing.
Yet, it was not the green haired boy's favorite type of weather, but in all honesty, who would like rain? It's so cold and wet... but, he was reminded, that apparently some didn't mind it at all.
Though the boy was secluded beneath the overhang of the small building in the graveyard, some of his classmates were a little ways away, splashing in puddles. Some would call it disrespectful, but he liked to watch them have fun. Especially a certain brunette.
He smiled warmly as she laughed, jumping into a puddle before slipping. She whined as she stood, mud all over her gray coat and black pants.
She was always smiling. That was something he loved about her. Cheerful, positive... even when things go horribly wrong.
Standing, the green haired student left the book he had been holding on the place he was previously sitting.
He wanted to join them, but there were a few things he wanted... no, needed to do first. With a grin, he waved goodbye to them, and walked away.

Hello readers! I'm going to try and refrain from adding authors notes to the end of each chapter, but I just wanted to say thank you for reading this story. I can't wait to continue with all who choose to read it. Thank you again, and enjoy!

(Sorry the prologue is so short, but it has meaning to it. The chapters will be way longer, promise)
