Caroline's P.O.V.

"He has a what!?" Faith exclaimed shocked. I had just told her about Harry and Mariana. She was even more raged then I was. We were at Brielle's house, she lived in Florida so we were all staying.

"How dare that brunette mick jagger wannabe bastard get a girlfriend ruining my hopes and dreams of my best friend and him getting together!" She yelled, she looked like she was about to have horns and red eyes at any moment.

Zayn and Brielle sat next to me in shock at Faith's outburst. "Okay love, calm down. I know you are ready to rip someone's head off at anytime but you need to chill. Maybe she is temporary, you know Harry doesn't tie himself down usually. There has been only one girl he had in his life the longest and that is Caroline but that is because she is his best friend." Zayn said trying to calm her down.

Brie looked at me and I frowned, Zayn realised what he said "Oh sorry Car, I-" I shook my head and gave him a smile "It is fine. I've kinda come to the conclusion awhile that I will only be a best friend." Faith was about to make a comment but there was a knock on the door that stopped her.

Zayn stood up and sighed, "I'll get it." He said and walked over to the door. Brielle gave me a sad smile "I still have hope that you and Harry will end up." I groaned, I grabbed the pillow next to me and covered my face with it. My eyes fluttered shut and I just feel asleep.

After what felt like a couple minutes, I could feel my body shift and someone sat down next to me.

I felt someone place their hand on my leg and pull the pillow from my face. My eyes slowly opened and I looked up to see Harry staring down at me. He had a small smile on his face as his stared into my brown eyes.

I softly yawned and sat up, I looked around saw it was just us. Confused, I looked at him "Where are the girls and Zayn?" I asked.

Harry shrugged "They all left when I came over about an hour ago, they went to go hang with the rest of the guys." I nodded and looked at him confused "Why aren't you with them?" He looked me with a smile "Because my best friend wasn't there and I wanted to check on you." I adjusted my body as he finished talking. He became straight faced as he stared at me for a while.

He turned completely towards me and took my hands in his gently, "Are you alright darling?" A ghost of a smile appeared on when I heard that familiar nickname. He stare went down to our intertwined hands, "You seemed different early tonight. When you met Marianna, you seemed," he looked back at me, locking his green eyes with my brown, "upset. Then when I offered a ride, you became so cold." He said with a frown.

I couldn't speak, I looked down at my lap think of what I should say. "Did I do something wrong? Do you not like Marianna? If that is the case then you know I would always put you first Caroline, you are my favorite person in the world, Car. You are my best friend-" He tilted my chin up so I would look at him and he smiled at me "Don't hide from me Caroline, you know you can tell me when something is bad, love."

I bit my bottom lip and gave him a smile, my heart was warming from his words. He smiled and cupped my cheek "There's my favorite sight, I love that smile." He said and I giggled. My cheeks were tinted pink, I shook my head and sighed "I was just upset because I had another argument with my mom again." I said. It technically wasn't a lie since I did have one today, she was disappointed in me for choosing to come with the guys on tour instead of staying home and going to university.

He sighed in relief and made a face when I mentioned my mother, she hated Harry because she blames him for me being an 'abomination'. He hated her because of the way she treated me.

"Wanna watch a movie?" He suggested and I nodded. He smiled and stood up "Pick a movie and I will get some snacks." I giggled went to pick a movie. As my back was turned to him, I frowned knowing that I could never tell him the real truth.

We spent the rest of the night watching Harry Potter and eating snacks.

In the middle of Chamber of secrets, I feel asleep on Harry's chest.

Harry's P.O.V.

I yawned and looked at my watch, it was 3 in the morning. My eyes widened at the time, I looked down at Caroline "Car, it's 3 am." I heard her soft snores and I smiled softly.

I gently picked her up and walked her to the room she was staying. I placed her in her bed and placed the blanket on her.

I stood there looking at my best friend, she was so beautiful. She was so pure and perfect in my eyes, she deserved better than me in her life. I didn't understand why she wanted to be my friend.

My hand gently pushed the hair out of her face, I didn't deserve someone like Caroline. I loved everything about her.

The way her brown eyes looked like honey when they shined in the sun. Her adorable laugh when someone told her joke. The freckles on her face and her cute dimples. But nothing beat her smile.

That damn smile.

I loved everything about her.

My eyes widened, I was starting to feel something strange as I stared at her. As I looked down at her, I kissed the back of her hand "I don't deserve you Caroline." I said softly and stood up. I left the room but I couldn't shake the feeling I was having.
