Author's Note
So basically this is a whole plot summary in case I stop writing this book which I pretty much have but may start doing again one day but basically it goes like this......

They all roam and eventually take shelter in the cave that Darkstalker is in, and he just woke up recently with regret for his actions (like a toddler who was in a really long time out he realizes what he did wrong) he sees that they're Night/Ice hybrids like him, and sees they don't really have anywhere to go so he decides to let them live here

Eventually over time becoming their adoptive father while occasionally struggling with judgment from others for what he's done in the past and also the dragonets face judgement as well, they go on adventures and stuff and around the middle of the book the egg hatches and reveals Lilac, and eventually Darkstalker has the idea for jade mountain academy, a school for all ages! And he starts opening the school, with himself being both the principal and the guidance counselor, and at first not very many dragonets show up because they judge Darkstalker, but all the prophecy dragonets (except Sunny because she's happily doing her own thing) and they all help by teaching at the school while Darkstalker slowly starts to get over his hatred of Icewings, because the dragonets at the school haven't done anything wrong, they didn't choose to be born Icewings, eventually he sticks to his role of school principal and founder and gets over his hatred of the Icewings!

And the epilogue is where Darkstalker's school is a booming success for dragons of all types and different grades and classes for different ages and also they have clawmates (basically dorm roommates) and now Lilac is older, she's like Whiteout kinda, but in her own unique ways, like she also thinks in colors and compares things to colors, but also comparing things to music and music notes, and it's all happily after after!
