Chapter 16

~3rd person POV~

Nightstar yawned widely, his teeth showing.
Gold suddenly burst into the room, pointing toward the RainWing dramatically.
"You're related to DARKSTALKER!"

~Star's POV~

I blinked. Why was that vital information..?
The prince was staring at me, his eyes on fire. Moon raised an eyebrow.
Gold looked uncomfortable when he realized no one really cared.
"Gold? Why does that matter..?" Moon asks carefully.
Gold looks outraged now as he stares me down. "Because, Moon! He might follow the same path as his relative!!"
I scoffed, but I was worried. It wasn't so bad if I just wanted to bring the tribes together for peace, right..?
Moon started to look uneasy. "No, Gold.. Darkstalker was bad! I wouldn't have fallen in love with a copy of him!"
I exhaled with relief, smiling at her.
The RainWing growls, obviously not happy. "We don't know that! Maybe he wants to take over Phyrria!"
Silence.
Moon looked at me expectantly, she wants me to deny it.
"Well.. Moon-"
Gold shrieks. "I KNEW IT!"
"He didn't even finish!" Moon hissed back. Her dark head turned back to Star, the beautiful golden eyes looking straight through him.

~Gold's POV~

I growled at Moon turned back to Star.
Why didn't she ever listen?!
There was a danger in our midst!
My wings turned red as I stared at the two NightWing. I HATED how they got along so well! Wasn't fair!
Star rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "Moon... I was thinking... what if we did rule Pyhrria? Peacefully!" He added quickly when Moon narrowed her eyes.
I shrieked, "HES JUST AS BAD AS HIS KIN!"
Star blinked at me, his acid green eyes filling with anger. "You know what? I'm getting my own cave. I can't put up with you anymore!"
Moon flicks her tail, nodding in reluctant agreement. "Makes sense."
The animus NightWing glared at me and flounced off, looking like a nanny.

~Star's POV~

I stomped to Tsunami's cave angrily, my spikes sticking up.
When the SeaWing saw me, she blinked. "Uh... Star? You okay...?"
I snarled, "I want my own cave! I can't STAND Gold HARASSING ME!"
To my surprise, Tsunami nodded in agreement.
"Yeah. He's really... annoying."
"You can say that again," I hissed, my voice filled with venom.
"The only cave open is the cave right next to it.." She said softly. I groaned.
"Okay, yes, works fine..." I agreed reluctantly.

~Gold's POV~

I grinned, earning myself a hit on the arm from Moon.
"Ow! What was that for?!" I demanded, my scales billowing with orange.
She looked at me, her eyes sad. "Gold... please. Please try to be nice and kind to him, for my sake..." Moon's voice was softly pleading.
I blinked reluctantly. "Fine! I'll TRY. It's hard when he's a frog-faced blob of camel spit!"
