Control
((Sorry this is so late))
Dark had hung up the phone, leaving a sad Mark on the other end, though it didn't matter to him. Dark simply laid back on the bed, staring at the ceiling but not sleeping, simply listening to Jack and Anti who were going at it in Jack's head.
He resisted the urge to yell at the two and simply listened to their arguing.
~~~~~~~In Jack's Head~~~~~~
"So what you're just going to sit and sulk?"
Jack snarls at the darker part of himself who sat cross legged on the floor, frankly looking bored. Anti had decided to return after awhile, of course staying out of things when Dark beat on Jack. Anti shrugs his shoulders solemnly, not even bothering to meet Jack's angry gaze.
The Irish man sighs and continues to pace in front of Anti, shoving a hand through his green hair and ignoring the pain that continued to shoot through his body.
He was covered in bruises by now, and perhaps even had some broken ribs by now. Of course he'd stopped yelling at Dark, for the time being, and instead focused his anger on the darker part of himself, the one who promised to help but now simply sat idly by.
"What, the cocky little bastard has nothing to say?"
Jack growls, stopping where he stood and glaring down at the man who just sighed, slouching down even further if it were possible.
"What do you want me to say?"
Anti replies finally, his voice quiet and strangely weak for him. It was weird to not hear him speaking with his cocky tone, his sarcastic nature just drained.
"Sorry? My bad? Look Sean you think I like being locked in here? I'm as pissed as you are."
Jack clenches his fists, resisting the urge to slap some sense into the dark part of him.
"Pissed? Then why the hell are you just sitting there!?"
This time Anti actually lets some anger break his otherwise emotionless face.
"Because unlike you I know we can't do anything!"
The man growls, lifting his gaze so his mismatched eyes finally met Jack's. He sucks in a breath, relaxing himself slightly, his eyes nearly apologetic.
"Look Dark was prepared, the element of surprise was all we had. As much as I hate to admit it... especially when I know that douche is listening... He's strong, stronger than he used to be."
Anti snarls, a pissed undertone entering his accented voice once more. Jack looks at him, eyes softening slightly, though they still shone with pure anger.
"So what, you expect me to just sit around, letting Dark stay in control? Letting Mark worry?"
Jack responds again, his anger fading slowly with each word, being replaced with worry. Anti lowers his gaze once more, seeming to think to himself as his hands balled into fists.
"Look, I get it, you care for Mark-"
"No I don't think you do...."
Jack interupts, ignoring the glare he earned from Anti.
"You know what I think? I think Dark was right... As much as I hate to say it, Dark was right."
The Irish man snarls, venom dripping from his voice. Anti looks back up at him, narrowing his mismatched eyes in silent question.
"All you care about is yourself..."
At that the darker side to Jack stands up, his mismatched eyes narrowing in rage.
"I've been trying to help you!"
Anti yells in response, voice leaking with anger, anger that made Jack nearly flinch, though he stood his ground.
"Yah great job of that... All you've ever done is ruin my damn life!"
Anti's fists clench at his sides and he instinctively takes a step forward, slowly begining to lose his calm though he tried to control it, he opens his mouth to retort however Jack interupts him once more.
"I don't want to hear it! I'm sick of listening to some selfish bastard try to defend himself!"
Finally Anti snaps, his arm shoots out grabbing Jack by the front of his collar, ignoring when the man winced at the sudden movement. Anti pulls him forward, so their faces were only two or so inches apart, Anti's hot breath against Jack's face as he spoke in an angry whisper.
"I've done nothing but try to help you. So I'm sorry that i'm done risking my life to help someone, who won't even give me a damn thank you!"
Jack growls and shoves the darker part of him off, stepping back and glaring at him angrily.
"I should've known you were too weak to try..."
The green haired man snarls quietly, simply turning and walking away, going anywhere as long as it wasn't near the darker part of himself. Anti watches after him, his fists clenched tightly at his sides as his mismatched eyes nearly glowed with rage. As Jack's voice continues to play to him.
Weak... Selfish...
That voice soon grows deeper, darker, until it was Dark's voice echoing in his ears.
Weak... Pathetic...
~~~~~~~In The Motel Room~~~~~~~
Dark smiles to himself as the two quiet down in his mind, though he could still feel that both were completely pissed, mostly at each other at the moment. He resists the urge to laugh at their argument, and simply lays back on the bed, boredly crossing his arms over his chest until he felt a pressure against his skull.
Dark groans as he sits up, grabbing his head in his hands as the pressure increases.
"Enough..."
He growls under his breath, clenching his eyes shut.
"Knock it off!"
He soon yells, voice strained as he clenches his eyes shut. Soon enough his hands drop from his head and he runs his hand through the green hair ontop of his head, pushing it back from his face.
His eyes open once more, but instead of the deep red, one is a natural blue, the other a sickening green.
Anti groans quietly as he feels Dark fighting to regain control, but he pushes back grabbing Jack's phone off of the bedside table and scrolling through the contacts until he clicks on one, head pounding painfully.
He puts the phone to his ear, it rings merely twice before someone picks up. Anti speaks almost immediately, his voice strained as he struggled to keep control, for at least a little bit.
"Mark... I don't have long... We need to talk..."
