Chapter V

"YOU! ARE! A! TOY! You aren't the real Buzz Lightyear, you're just an action figure! You are a child's PLAY THING!" ~Woody (Toy Story)
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"What in the world?" Sora muttered as we passed by an oversized xylophone. We walked out from whatever we landed underneath. It appeared to be a bedroom, and we came out from underneath the owner's bed. In the corner was a blue beanbag and above up was a cork board with various papers pinned to it, including some drawings. Underneath the window was a desk and a bookshelf filled mostly with toys. In fact, toys of every kind seemed to fill the room. There was also a trunk painted to resemble a wagon pioneers used and beside it was a ball with a red star on the center of the yellow side of the ball, the other side being blue. "Where are we?" Sora asked as he looked up to the dresser above him where a lamp sat. Whoever owned this bedroom must be very large, judging by the size of the objects on their room.

I looked around and then at my hands, which strangely felt like plastic. Confused, I rubbed my clothing to see that it was plastic. I looked down at myself to see that my clothes were formed from different sizes and shaped plastic blocks that they sell at the toy store. Looking around at my party members, I saw that they were made out of the same material I was.

No...it wasn't the room that was large, it was us that shrunk!

Sora reached he same conclusion as well as he looked down at his outfit. "Oh my gosh!" He cried. "Have we been shrunk?!" He twisted his body around, examining it in all angles. "And...and look at us!" He sputtered, holding out his plastic hands in front of him so he can take a look at them.

"You know what the magic is for," Donald reminded as he walked past us. "We have to protect the world order!"

"Border?" Sora said, not understanding what Donald said.

"I said 'Order'!" Donald repeated with a shout.

"Gwarsh..." Goofy walked away from us, catching our attention. He pointed to the Heartless that were also in the bedroom with us, in the same condition as the rest of us. "Who's gonna protect the order from them?' He asked, pointing at the Heartless.

"Heartless!" Sora and Donlad yelled as we summoned our weapons.

Quickly destroying the Heartless in the bedroom, we dispelled our weapons after the battle seeing the job was done. "Are they new?" A voice asked from behind.

Turning around, there was a cowboy with a yellow plaid long-sleeve button-up with a cow print vest that had a gold star badge on it that read "SHERIFF" and a red bandana tied around his neck, a brown belt with a gold buckle and a gun holster, jeans and brown boots with a wide-brimmed brown hat on his head. Accompanying him as an astronaut in a white, green and purple suit that had buttons on his best plate in red, blue ans green, a green Tyrannosaurus Rex with a yellow underbelly and a pink piggy bank. "Wait!" The dinosaur pushed pass its allies, approaching Sora. "Ah-Ah-You look familiar! I know this. You're, uh, you're, uhhh..."

"Yozora!" The piggy bank cried.

"Huh?" Sora titled his head to the side. "My name's Sora."

A red dot skimmed over Sora's body as the astronaut circled around us slowly with his arm out, aiming the laser at Sora. "Stay back!" He barked. "For all we know, the intruders sent them."

"Yozora!" The dinosaur ignored the astronaut, hugging Sora with its small arms.

"Slow down there, Rex," the cowboy said as Rex let go of Sora. "We don't know them."

"But we can trust them," Rex insisted. "They're the number-one-selling heroes in the country!"

"Number one?" I snorted. "Wow, Sora. You're quite the celebrity here."

"Yeah, Andy's mom must of bought it for him," the piggy bank added as Rex shook Sora's hand.

"Hamm's right," Rex said. "Did you see how easily they took care of the intruders? I bet they're here to figure out why all our friends have gone missing, and why Buzz's laser started actually laser-ing...and all the weird stuff that's been going on. I mean, that's what heroes do, right?"

"Let's not jump to conclusions," Buzz said.

"Hmm..." the cowboy placed his hand underneath his chin, giving what Rex said some thought.

"Gotta be be smart, Woody," Buzz whispered to his friend.

"So, you're...Andy's new toys?" Woody asked, approaching us.

"Toys?" Sora, Donald, Goofy, Aina and I questioned.

"You sure did a number on those intruders," Woody noted.

"Those are the Heartless," Goofy stated.

"The bad guys!" Donald added on.

"We've been fighting against those 'intruders' for a while," Sora explained.

"I knew it!" Rex said.

Woody thought for a few seconds before smiling, "Okay! In that case, you're all right by me. My name's Woody. Put 'er here."

"Hey," Sora reached out and shook his hand.

"Now hold on," Buzz cut in.

"I'm Sora--" Sora started to introduce himself.

"Yozora!" Rex cried, which made Woody raise a brow.

"Actually, my name's 'Sora'...he corrected,"

"And I'm Donald," Donald continued.

"I'm Goofy," Goofy said.

"Aina Mirai," Aina bowed at the toys.

"Name's Sakura," I grinned.

"And I'm...Buzz Lightyear," Buzz gestured at himself.

"Call me Hamm," Hamm said. "It's a real honor."

"And I'm Rex!" Rex introduced himself with excitement. "I'm your biggest fan. In fact, I've been playing your game for months now. And I've already gotten you all the way up to LV 47. But that Bahamut boss is really tough. Slinky and I can't figure out how to beat him. Oh, I wish Slinky and the others were here. They'd be so happy to meet you!"

An army of miniature green plastic soldiers appeared and they saluted. "All troops at attention, sir!" Their leader shouted. Sora, Donald, Goofy, Aina and I saluted back at them and when we glanced to the side, we jumped in all directions, narrowly avoided being run over by a skateboard that held three, light green aliens with pointed ears, an antenna at the top of their heads, and three eyes, all wearing blue spacesuits that were riding on it.

The aliens got off the skateboard and surrounded Donald. "Strangers," one of them spoke, raising their hands.

"From the outside," Another one spoke up, raising their arms up as well.

"Welcome," the last one said, raising their arms up as well.

"They're all toys?" Sora remarked. "So that's why we look the way we do."

Buzz approached Sora and began to talk to him while Aina turned to face me. "I didn't know traveling to other worlds comes with a wardrobe change," Aina said as she ran her hand through her curly hair only to be reminded that it too, was made of plastic.

"Yeah," I laughed nervously. "Sometimes, when we travel, our appearances need to change in order for us to blend in with its inhabitants. It's so we don't disturb this 'world order' Donald keeps going on about. He's also the one who's changing our clothes with his magic."

"How?" Aina asked.

"I don't know," I shrugged. "At this point, I just stopped questioning things that happen to us or try not to give it much though because chances are, it doesn't make much sense when you try to explain it."

"That is not comforting at all," Aina sighed and I laughed.

"Get used to it," I smirked.

"Order!" Donald screamed at Sora, which made him cover his mouth, stopping himself before he said whatever he was going to say.

"Well?" Buzz raised a brow. "You must have come from somewhere."

"Take it easy, Buzz," Woody said as he approached the two. "What matters is that they got those intruders out of our way-for at least a little while. No need to interrogate them."

"Yeah, Buzz!" Rex agreed as he and Hamm joined the conversation.

"Woody's right," Hamm nodded.

"Noted," Buzz said. "But still..."

"Hey..." Sora started. "Have those 'intruders'-the Heartless-been a problem around here?"

"No, they just showed up a little while ago," Woody replied.

"In fact, those 'Heartless' materialized...right after all of our friends up and vanished," Buzz added.

"You don't think..." Donald asked Goofy.

"Well, gee," Goofy said. "It can't be just a coincidence."

"It wasn't always this lonely," Woody turned and looked out the window that was above the desk. "One day we woke up, and we were the only toys left here. Nobody's heard from Mom, Molly, or Andy..." Woody sat down on a wooden block with the letter "O" written in yellow and lifted up his leg, reading Andy's name written on the bottom of it. "We keep waiting for Andy to come home," he continued.

"You really care about him," Sora noticed.

Woody gave Sora a small smile as he got up and walked back toward our group, "Yeah...he's the best friend that toys like us could ever hope to have."

"All right!" Sora grinned. "We'd better start looking!"

"Huh?" Woody asked.

"Have you got any clues we can go-any other strange things that happened?" Sora said.

"Well...hmm..." Woody thought about what Sora said for a for a bit. "There's one thing."

"One big thing," Hamm added.

"Huge, sir," a green soldier piped up.

"What thing?" Rex asked.

"After everyone went MIA, the intruders didn't come alone," Buzz explained. "They arrived with a guy wearing a hood, dressed in black, just like you. As a matter of fact, he's the only other toy we've seen, outside of you three."

"A black hood?" Sora said. "But that would mean..."

"The Organization!" Sora, Donald, Goofy, Aina and I yelled at once.

"You know who it is?" Woody asked.

"Yeah," Sora nodded. "They're bad news."

"Seems like you have a lot of enemies," Buzz remarked with a raised brow.

"We may have a hunch what's causing all the weirdness," Sora stated. "Would you mind if we handle this?"

"I'm sorry," Woody sbook his head no. "But we're not gonna leave this to you. If that guy had something to do with our friends vanishing, then he's our problem too. We've got to work together."

Woody held out his hand and Sora grinned, "Right!" Everyone cheered as we agreed to join teams to figure out what was going on around here. "So then, where can we find that guy?" Sora asked.

"Sarge, any word from the recon team?" Woody knelt down to a plastic green soldier.

"The latest reports place him in town, sir," Sarge replied, pointing at a pinned poster on the cork board. "At Galaxy Toys!"

"Then Galaxy Toys is where we're going," Woody stated. "Sora. Follow me. It's out the window and down the roof."

"Not so fast, cowboy," Buzz cut in. "You seem pretty gung ho about going, but shouldn't we stay here and wait for Andy?"

"Well..." Woody crossed his arms. "You've got a point, but...we've tried waiting. Look, if we go with Sora, we might find a clue. Are you with me, Buzz?"

Buzz smirked, "Of course." He and Woody turned back to face us. "Okay, let's move out!" Buzz declared.

Climbing out the window and sliding down the rooftop, we landed at the side of the house and we made our way out to the empty driveway and down the street, like Woody said. I really got a feel at how small we really were seeing how it took us just to get down that street. Something that I could've crossed within minutes if I was regular-sized took forever now that I was the size of a toy.

Once we got down that street, we arrived at the toy store, just as Woody said we would. The outside of the toy store appeared to be made up of multiple rectangular buildings all stuck together in various colors, which my guess is what separated the kinds of toys inside the store. At the top the store was a flying saucer and in the center rectangular section of the building, which was made of glass, reading "GALAXY TOYS" in red with a miniature flying saucer above the words as well. Outside the toy store was an empty parking lot that was bordered by cone-shaped trees.

We entered the store and I admired how ginormous and vast the store felt. Then again, being so small just makes everything around you so big. On display on the shelves were some red and orange Gigas which were oddly standing still. "Hey why doesn't that toy move?" Sora wondered, thinking the same thing I was.

"I guess it hasn't figured out," Woody shrugged.

"Figured what out?" Sora continued.

"I can make it move for you," A voice spoke.

Looking above the toy shelves at a circular platform which rails of all colors twisting and curving, leading to different parts of the store, a Corridor of Darkness appeared and out from it was a man in a black coat with tan skin, golden eyes, and spiked silver hair. "You're from the dream-the first of the Xehanorts!" Sora cried.

I raised a brow, slightly confused. The man who I was told was Xehanort looked much older than the man currently in front of us. Was this his younger form? How could he exist along with his older present form right now? "I'm so honored you remember me," the younger Xehanort said, snapping his finger as three Heartless appeared. They got into the Gigas on display and now in control, made them jump off the shelves and start moving toward us.

"Oh no!" Woody said. "He can move!"

"Way cool!" Hamm admired but the Giga raised its fist, preparing to attack Hamm.

"Look out!" Sora cried as he, Donald, Goofy, Aina and I jumped in front of Hamm, weapons out as we blocked its fist. Woody tackled Hamm and rolled him away to safety.

"One heart's shadows fills the emptiness of another," Young Xehanort remarked. "See how they bring him to life? Like Heartless and Nobodies, they fit together."

"Enough," Sora grunted as we pushed back at the Giga. "Why are you doing this?!"

"There's a darkness we are missing and must reclaim." Young Xehanort explained. "The way hearts connect in this world can provide us with a clue. So we made a copy of the world, and then pulled those hearts apart. I wonder how you'll handle the strain."

"Wait!" Sora cried as the man opened a Corridor of Darkness, preparing to make his leave. "What does that mean?"

"Don't let me down," Young Xehanort stated as he went into the portal, closing it.

The Giga finally overpowered us, pushing the five of us, sending us flying. As we screamed and scrambled in the air in order to regain balance, Sora, Aina and I crashed into Woody, who was prepared to catch us as he rolled, holding all of us so we would be safe while Buzz did the same with Donald and Goofy.

Buzz got up. "Woody!" He shouted. "What is going on? Is this toy a friend...or foe?"

The Giga pointed its gun at us. "I think we've got our answer," Woody stated.

It charged its gun and began to fire, going across the floor in an attempt to take us all down. We scattered in order to leave its range of attack. We all hid behind toy shelves for some cover. "Sora!" Donald yelled. "You're up!"

"Yeah!" Goofy nodded. "If the Heartless know how to do it, there's no reason you can't."

"Do what?" Sora asked as we peeked from around the shelf. Donald and Goofy pointed at another Giga, identical to the one that's attacking us currently only blue and green in color, as it sat still on display. Sora caught on to what they were thinking. "Brilliant!" Sora grinned. "I'm on it!" He sprinted towards the display and climbed into the Giga, closing the hatch as he made it jump off the shelf and face the other Gigas sent out to destroy us.

Smaller Heartless appeared around the enemy Gigas, which Donald, Goofy, Aina, Woody, Buzz and I set out to destroy while Sora handled the big ones. He began to fire his gun at them and punch them as well, sending them falling and tumbling. We maneuvered around them as we went out to take out the small fry.

Once the Gigas slumped over and stopped moving, Sora exited his as he joined the rest of us. "He was being controlled?" Buzz stated. "He wasn't just switched into battle mode by accident?"

"Buzz?" Sora asked.

"It's nothing," Buzz turned away from the rest of us.

"I'm confused," Woody said, "That guy in the black coat-did he say he made a copy of the real world? What's that mean?"

"It...prob'ly means they split this world in two-your friends in one world, us in the other," Sora replied, gesturing what they did by showing us in one hand and the rest in the other. "Only one of the worlds is real, and the other is just really convincing."

"You can't be serious," Buzz shook his head. "Oh! That's right, you're from a video game. Well, maybe in your game, that's how things work...but here in reality, you can't 'split worlds'. This is ridiculous." Buzz walked away from us, grabbing Woody's shoulder. "Woody, let's go," he said.

"Well, what explanation do you have that explains all of this?" I snapped.

"I admit, it does sound just a little far-fetched," Woody stated. "But...say we have been taken to some kind of alternate world. That would explain why your laser is real. And is it really that crazy? Worse than 'evil emperors' and 'protecting the galaxy'? Any of that ring a bell?'

"Point taken," Buzz cleared his throat, embarrassed of having his history brought up by Woody. "But that just means these strangers are part of the delusion. And I say it's time we parted ways and went home."

"Thought we were friends, not strangers," Goofy sighed.

"Look, I get that it seems weird, but we know something's wrong with this place," Sora said. "We should stick together."

"Sora's right," Woody agreed. "They helped with the intruders, so they might help find our friends. They have been there for us so far. You can't deny that. Come on. Every toy deserves a fair shake. Am I right?"

"Tell it to that toy over there," Buzz sighed, pointing to the Giga Sora fought a few minutes ago.

Woody remained silent, unable to respond when Sarge, on top of a toy shelf, "Sheriff, sir! Rex has just been dino-napped!"

"What's that?!" Woody cried.

Sarge turned around and pointed to the floor above us. "My men saw him get hauled up to the second floor, sir!" Sarge reported. "And Hamm and the Aliens are MIA."

"Come on," Woody called to all of us. "We have got to find them!"

"Please, let us help!" Sora pleaded.

"Yeah!" Donald, Goofy, Aina and I chorused.

Woody looked over his shoulder to see that Buzz wasn't following the rest of us and stopped in his movements, going back to get his friend. "Well, Buzz?" He asked. "Do you really think we can save our friends on our own? We didn't get very far before. We gotta take all the help we can get."

"Don't worry," Goofu assured Buzz. "Sora can be reckless, Donald grumbles a lot, Sakura always has something sarcastic to say, and Aina can be clueless and overprotective. But you can trust 'em!"

Sora pouted at Goofy'c omment while I shrugged, not denying any of it and Aina laughed nervously. "Hey!" Donald yelled. "He suspects you, too!"

"It's true," Sora nodded.

"Huh?" Goofy asked. "He does?"

"Aw, come on," Aina sighed. "Don't be angry that Goofy pointed out your faults."

Donald threw his arms up, exasperated, while Sora put his arms behind his head, laughing. "See, they don't seem bad," Woody smiled. "Am I right, Buzz?"

"Okay, fine," Buzz replied as he rejoined the group. "We do need the extra help. But just so we're clear: I remain skeptical about this. I'll work with you till we find our friends."

"Ohhh...kay," Sora said.

"Thanks for the help, Sora, Donald, Goody, Sakura, Aina," Woody smiled.

"My troops will return to the field, sir!" Sarge yelled as he and his army saluted at Woody.

Looking up the second floor, it would take near forever if we found the stairs and tried to climb up it. Buzz pressed a red button on his chest, shooting out his purple wings with a green border and a red and white cross hatched design at the top of them. "This ascent is gonna be rather tricky," he remarked.

"Too bad we're not strapped to a rocket, huh?' Woody smirked as he placed an arm on Buzz's wing.

"Hey!" Sora called out as Buzz pressed the button again, pulling his wings back inside him. "Think we can use that?" Sora pointed to the twisting railings above a circular platform that went all the way up to the second floor. Underneath it was a large gumball machine filled with decorative toys.

"It's perfect," Woody nodded. "C'mon, guys!"

Climbing into the giant gumball machine and onto the circular platform through a hole on top of the machine, we found three twisting rails all leasing to someplace different. Choosing the yellow rail, we rode on the twisting rail as it dropped us off onto the second floor. Entering a monster toy shop, we kept an eye out for any of our missing allies. Woody spotted something and chased after it, yelling, "Rex!" Not finding anything, he asked, "Where'd he go?"

"You sure you say him?" Buzz questioned.

"Yes, he just--" Woody started.

"Shh," Sora interrupted, placing a finger at his lips. "Do you guys hear something?"

Somewhere in the shop was growling, which did not found good. Goofy plaed a hand above his eyes and squinted, "Hmm? What's that?"

Behind the display of boxed monster toys, something with a dark aura emitting off of it was coming closer. "Something feels wrong..." Buzz remarked.

A red scaled monster with sort of weapon strapped to its back knocked don the display, roaring at us. Donald ran for the exit only for the shutters to be closed, locking us in. "Another toy's being controlled!" Sora cried. Buzz aimed its laser at it and Sora looked at him, "Buzz, you sure?"

"If it wanted to play nice, then it should've stayed away from my friends," Buzz replied.

There were three of them scattered about the store, and the weapon on its back charged up lightning and shot it at the ground, which we all had to run and avoid. Aina and I dealt with one while Sora went off with Woody and Buzz to assist them with another ans Donald and Goofy were more than capable with handling one on their own. I froze its feet using Blizzard so it couldn't move and it responded by shooting beams of light at us. Aina climbed up the toy and gave it a few smacks to the head with her Keyblade a few times, which was enough for whatever was controlling it to let go as it fell to the ground, lifeless and immobile and it originally was.

Once the toys were all rendered immobile, another one of those monsters popped up in front of us, roaring. Rex, hanging onto something that could fly, flew by and knocked the toy down, which was enough to make it revert back to its lifeless form as he crashed into a toy shelf, falling to the ground. "What's this?" He examined whatever he was holding on to. It turned its head to face Rex, which it revealed itself to be a Heartless and Rex ran away, screaming, "Oh no! What did I do?" As the Heartless began to fly again using the saucer attached it its head.

Sora sprinted over to it and swiped the heartless with his Keyblade destroying it and releasing the crystallized pink heart it held inside it.

Woody swept a hand across his forehead in relief. "Nice moves, Rex," he complimented the dinosaur.

"That was great!" Goofy added.

"Great? Really?" Rex asked. "Would you say I was impressive?"

"Very impressive, Rex," Buzz stated. "We couldn't look away."

"Hurray!" Rex cheered. "Oh, that makes me so happy! Were you watching too? Did you see what I did?"

"Yeah," Donald nodded as Rex got up in his face, rambling on and on about what he did. "Good for you."

"Listen, Rex," Woody tried to get Rex's attention. "Would ya-Earth to Rex."

Rex stopped talking and turned his head at Woody. "Do you know where the others were taken?" Sora asked.

"What do you mean?" Rex replied, confused. "Did something bad happen?"

"Back to square one," Buzz remarked.

"Oh, great," Woody slapped his forehead with his hand. Spotting Sarge climbing down the shutters, Woody went over to him. "Sarge!" He said. "Gave you got a status report?"

"Sir!" Sarge saluted as he reported. "One of my men just located Hamm forward of our position, in Babies and Toddlers." We all sighed in relief. "The corporal was debriefing him, but something must have gone wrong," Sarge continued. "All radio contact has been lost."

"Anything more specific we can go on?' Buzz asked as we all groaned at the bad news.

"Right before I lost contact, I heard music with some sort of sonic interference," Sarge said.

"Music?" Buzz wondered Sarge's words.

"Ya think it could be the Heartless?" Goofy pointed out.

"What if it's another big monster?" Donald suggested.

"Let's find out," Sora said.

"I agree," Woody nodded.

"Actually...I think I'll head back and wait by the entrance," Rex stated. "I'm sure those vents are gonna be much too narrow for my big dinosaur tail."

"Really?" Sora raised a brow, looking at the vent before back at Rex. "I'm sure you'd fit."

Buzz held a hand out at Sora, stopping him. "Rex is right," he agreed. "Besides, we need a lookout at the entrance. It's an important mission. Can you do it?"

"Yes, sir!" Rex yelled.

We all laughed at Rex's enthusiasm before turning and entering into the vents, where there was a flashlight left mysteriously laying there. I wondered why it was left there, but it was on and provided us with light to make our way through the vent system and into another section of this enormous toy store. "This is Babies and Toddlers," Woody introduced to us what part of the store we were in. "Where do you guys think er should start?"

The Babies and Toddlers section was entirely pink with different shelves storing different kinds of toys with toys put out for display on top of those shelves as well. In the back, I could see a green stage with something written with bright green lights above the stage, the only part of the store that wasn't decked out in pink.

Goofy knelt down and asked Sarge, "Sarge, didn't you mention music?"

"Affirmative, Goofy," Sarge saluted.

Sora placed a hand over his eyes to get a better look at the store. "Hmm...all right," he said. "Why don't we look for things that make noise?"

Goody, Aina and I nodded in agreement. "That's good thinking for you," Donald smirked before bursting out in laughter.

"Hey...what do you mean 'good thinking for me'?" Sora demanded as he began to chase after Donald, circling around us. "Why, you--"

"I think they really are good guys," Woody chuckled.

"Well, you wouldn't have trusted them otherwise," Buzz pointed out. "And I know that your trust is an hard earned treasure. Well, for all our sakes, let's hope you're right, cowboy. I'm willing to give 'em a chance at least a little while longer. Especially if it means getting Andy and our friends back."

"Agreed," Woody nodded.

Heading straight towards the stage, which was the most obvious choice for where noise would come from. On stage there were four levels with toads grouped together by color and instrument. On the side of the stage was a phonograph with a blue base and green horn. Sora got on top of the phonograph and began slowly running on it, moving the CD around and playing music through it and the toy toads began to play along to the music with their instruments as well.

"Come on, Sora," Woody said as he looked up at Sora. "You never used a record player before?" Sora laughed as Woody got up on the phonograph, slowing down so he can climb up. "Like this!" Woody grinned as he began to sprint, making the CD spin faster. Sora wobbled a bit but regained balance and kept up to pace with Woody as the music played more loudly and toy toads followed suit.

As we listened to the toy toads playing, something just didn't feel right. Like, the music the toy toads were playing didn't follow what the phonograph was playing. I began to listen more closely to see what it was. I heard a tuba playing, but it sounded like there was something stuck inside the instrument as it was being played. I wasn't alone on this discovery, as Buzz heard it too. "Wait, did that sound off to you?" He asked us.

"It did," Donald and I nodded.

"Huh?" Sora stopped running, which caused Woody to almost run into him.

"Hey!" He yelled and Sora began running again.

"Sora!" Goofy explained. "There's some kind of strange noise comin' from the orchestra!"

"Got it!" Sora nodded. "Woody, you keep the record going."

"Whoa-whoa-whoa!" Woody cried as Sora jumped off to join the rest of us.

"It's the tuba player, Sora!" I directed him. "There's something wrong with its instrument!"

Nodding, Sora followed my verbal lead and walked over to the light blue toad tuba player, who was not only playing with a tuba that didn't sound right, but was moving around erratically as well. Goofy and I peered into the tuba and I could see something in there, which had to be the reason why it was sounding funny when played. "Somethin' seems to be stuck in his tuba," Goofy told Sora.

"I'll get it out," I volunteered, stepping forward and reaching my arm inside the tuba, standing on my tip-toes as I groped around inside the instrument to whatever was stuck inside it. Once I got hold of it, I pulled my hand out, revealing a small plastic green soldier that was causing the strange noise.

"Corporal!" Sarge yelled, jumping down from the lelvel above us as I placed the soldier onto the stage. He knelt down and placed a comforting hand on Corporal's back. "You all right, son?" He asked.

"Yes sir," Corporal stammered.

"That's the soldier Sarge lost contact with," Buzz stated.

"So, you found Hamm?" Sora asked as Sarge helped Corporal up, using himself as a crutch.

"Yes," Corporal nodded. "But, while I was radioing in, a giant hand grabbed me, and stuffed me in there. They must have taken Hamm to another location. We have to hurry!"

Corporal tried to walk forward but ended up falling on his hands and knees. "Wait, Corporal," Sarge interjected, "You're not fit for action."

"But Sarge..." Corporal protested as he was helped back up.

"Your job is over son," Sarge said. "And it's all right. Our trusted allies will take over." Sarge gestured to us and Sora, Donald, Goofy, Aina, and I saluted. "I will move the Corporal to safer location," Sarge told us.

"Good luck ladies and gentlemen," Corporal said to us as he and Sarge slowly made their way to a safe spot.

"Huh...?" Woody gasped, which reminded us of his presence. "Hey-hey-hey! What's...going on?!"

"Oh, right!" Sora realized that he left Woody there.

"Woody!" Buzz yelled. "Mission complete!"

Woody jumped off the phonograph, making his way over to us and he bent over his knees, panting from all the hard work. "Why didn't...you tell me...a little sooner?" He panted, treying to catch his breath.

"Sorry, but there's no time to rest," Buzz stated. "Hamm needs us."

Woody gave him a salute of acknowledgment as he got back up and we all jumped off stage. Noticing that a dollhouse with a yellow exterior, orange and blue window frames, and an orange door frame with a pink door was shaking, we headed over and began to pry the house open, since it was the type that could separate its walls and reveal its interior. I would know, since Kairi and I had one of these for ourselves when we were younger.

The walls flew open, which caused us to fly back from the force and we all landed on each other in a giant pile. Hamm stepped out and said to us, "Talk about cabin fever. Thanks for the save."

Woody crawled over to Hamm and asked, "You okay, Hamm?"

"Yeah, aside from being locked in, the accommodations were nice," Hamm replied.

Taking a look from the opening we pried open of the dollhouse, it wasn't half bad. There was a kitchen table with a green and pink teapot with pink teacups to go with it. From what i could tell on the outside, it was two stories. Judging it based off how the kitchen looked, if I were actually a doll, I'd probably not mind living inside it. "Aww, what a little house," Donald admired as he stepped inside to take a look. "Huh?!" He cried as the entire house began to shake.

"What's wrong?" Woody asked as Hamm began to cower back.

"She's back!" Hamm cried. "That's the doll that pig-penned me!" A doll approached us with a pale complexion adorned by rosy cheeks, wavy blue hair with bangs and white bunny ears sticking out, one bearing the Heartless emblem on it that glowed bright orange along with its eyes, a black with white lace choker, a grey dress with a white lace bodice, white stockings and black shoes. All around her body darkness swirled around her.

"Hamm, take cover," Woody ordered.

"Uh, copy that," he replied as he ran off. "One stay in the dread-and-breakfast was enough for me!"

"Not another possessed toy," Buzz sighed.

"Guys, look alive!" Sora gave us a small pep talk for the incoming battle. Levitating off the ground and summoning up Heartless that possessed the various toys in the shop, we began ti battle. Although it was annoying how long the battle had dragged out, since the doll relied on her Heartless minions to fight us while she swooped it to attack us at random, but nonetheless we emerged victorious from the long battle.

The doll slumped as she landed and fell backwards, hitting the dollhouse and sliding down from it, her eyes becoming blue again and her bunny ears free from the Heartless emblem, which told us that she was not under the influence of the Heartless anymore.

Gwetting ready to leave the shop, Buzz stopped us. "Wait...what if we end up just like her?" Buzz asked. "Forgetting ourselves and...attacking each other?"

"No way, Buzz," Sora shook his head.

"That won't happen," I added.

"No way," Donald agreed.

"You guys are too strong," Goofy assured.

"From what I have seen all of you are strong and will resist the pull of the darkness," Aina said.

"You can't be sure!" Buzz snapped. Woody opened his mouth to say something but Buzz didn't give him the chance to speak. "What if I get taken over, then attack you?"

"Buzz, you're overthinking it," Woody grabbed his shoulder.

"Yeah," Sora nodded, placing a hand over his chest. "The Heartless-the darkness-can only creep in when our hearts falter. Trust me. You'll be fine if you don't lose heart."

"Well that's good," Woody stated, "Because I know you, Buzz. You'll never lose heart when it comes to your friends."

Buzz gave him a dry smile, "True enough, cowboy. Sorry to have worried you all."

"No problem," Woody said. "Now, let's go find the others."

Climbing back up onto the display where the dollhouse sat, Donald pointed out the window of the shop where a flying saucer passed by, oozing darkness out of it like the doll from earlier. "Look!" He shouted.

"A flying saucer!" Goofy cried.

"I think I know who that might lead us to," Woody said. "C'mon, guys!" Pushing open the display window and seeing the flying saucer go out of sight, Woody signaled for us to come forward, but Hamm didn't follow us.

"Hey, Woody," he said. "I'd just slow you down, with all the loose change I'm carrying. I'll hang by the entrance."

"No problem," Woody nodded. "Be safe, Hamm."

Woody jumped out the window to join the rest of us. "Hey, thanks buddy," Hamm continued. "You just take care of your old self."

Turning back to us, Woody pressed us forward. "Now, let's follow that UFO!" He shouted.

"Right!" We all chorused.

Running into the children's area where an indoor play structure resided, we spotted the UFO floating over near where the three aliens we were searching for were. "They have come for us," one of them spoke as they all held their arms out, welcoming the UFO.

"The mystic portal awaits," another one continued.

The UFO flew so it was above the trio before a claw came out from the bottom and picked the three up "Oh no!" Buzz cried as we sprinted towards them.

"Wait!" Sora yelled.

"Stop!" Woody shouted.

"Farewell!" The alien trio gleefully waved at us as the claw retracted and the UFO took off, taking the aliens with them.

"It's getting away!" Buzz shouted.

"Don't go!" Sora cried as the UFO flew over a group of Heartless ready to defend them.

While Sora, Aina, and I left Donald, Goofy, Woody, and Buzz to deal with the Heartless, we chased after the UFO. Seeing how it would fly up then swoop down then fly back up again, we only attacked it when it was near ground level so we wouldn't have a hard time destroying it. After a bit of bashing, the UFO flew away shaking and spinning erratically and crash landing. The aliens, freed from the claw's grasp, crawled out from underneath the UFO. "We are back!" They all announced at once.

"Our ship is no more," One of them said.

"Nirvana will not be reached," another said added.

Sora sighed before picking one of them. "Sorry we crashed your ride," he apologized.

"Fear not," The alien Sora held assured him.

"We still have our real home," One of the aliens pointed out.

"The Chamber of Andy," They spoke at once.

"They're right," Buzz nodded. "This isn't where we belong. We've been in this toy store long enough. It's time for us to go home to Andy's room."

"But...Xehanort told us that room isn't even his real room," Sora argued.

"Can you prove that any of that nonsense is true?" Buzz demanded. "And even if that Andy's room is fake, it doesn't mean he's somewhere in this world with us. I'm going home to wait for him. No more debate. You with me, Woody?"

"Hmm," Woody crossed his arms, giving what Buzz just said some thought. "You're right, Buzz. Now that we're all accounted for, we should meet at the entrances and go home."

"Okay," Sora sighed. "We could have used friends like you for the final showdown..."

"But Organization XIII's our problem to solve," Goofy stated.

"Yeah, I can take 'em!" Donald said.

"I'm not so sure about that..." Sora smirked, putting his arms behind his head.

"I'll show you!" Donald shouted as Sora snickered and ran off.

"Besides, Sora, we've been through worse together," I pointed out. "How much trouble can this young Xehanort bring to us?"

"You're right, Saki," Sora nodded at me, smiling. He turned to Woody and Buzz. "Guys, can we see you off?' He asked.

"That would be great," Woody smiled as he adjusted his hat.

We went back to the entrance of the shop, prepared to see the toys off and for us to continue the mission and avert the crisis of the world caused by Organization XIII. "Sarge, roll call," Woody said.

"Sir, yes sir!" Sarge saluted before to the toys that stood at the entrance. "Roll call! All toys, fall in!" They began to line up as Buzz walked pass them, checking them off as he passed them.

"Sarge...Army Men times four...Hamm...Aliens 1, 2, 3...wait," Buzz stopped in his tracks. "Where's Rex?"

"Aw, he took off," Hamm answered. "Said he wanted to prove to you you could trust Sora. He's up there by the video games."

Buzz let out a sigh of frustration, "Well, here we go again."

"This is about us?" Sora asked, confused at what Hamm just said. "He's not safe. The Heartless are out there."

"You're right," Woody nodded. "Sora, Donald, Goofy, Sakura, Aina...any chance you could help us one last time?"

"Sure!" We nodded.

"Thanks, guys," Woody smiled as he topped his cowboy hat at us.

Heading back up to the section level of the toy store and to the video game section in the direction Hamm pointed us, we found Rex thankfully near the entrance of the section of the store, holding a copy of a video game in his hands. Running up to Sora he shoved it into his face while cheerfully yelling, "Look! Look! I found it! See, Sora?" On the cover of the video game was the Yozora character Rex spoke of earlier, who had silver hair and lounged back on a stone step while holding a glowing red sword in his hand, with the game being titled Verum Rex.

Aina stared at the cover, a confused look on her face as her eyes flickered back at forth from Yozora to Sora, trying to find the similarities as I bit my lip, stifling my laughter as this dude looked nothing like Sora. How did Rex mistake Sora for him when we first met? Sora leaned in to take a closer look. "Well, I never look this good," he said. "The clothes kinda match."

"Whaddaya know!" Woody said as he passed by a large display on a enlarged version of the video game cover. "They are video game figures. See? I told ya Buzz. They're toys, just like the rest of us."

"Well, I suppose," Buzz replied suspiciously, obviously seeing that Yozora had almost nothing alike with Sora in appearance.

"Donald, I thought your magic decided how I look," Sora whispered behind a cupped hand to Donald.

"Simple," Donald replied. "That's not you."

"Say, Riku would make a great action figure!" Goofy stated.

"Must be him!" Donald nodded.

"No!" Sora insisted. "It's me. I've got the black clothes, and, uh..."

"So what?" Donald raised a brow.

"Goofy's right," I giggled.

"You don't get to talk, Saki," Sora glared. "You're biased for Riku already!"

"Hey!" I gasped in mock offense. "At least they look similar in appearance."

"All right, everyone," Buzz grabbed our attention. "Now that we're back together, it's time to return to Andy's room."

"Now?" Rex asked as he dropped the booklet he was holding. "But can't I at least check the strategy guide? I want to know how to beat Bahamut!"

"Next time," Buzz sighed as he took the booklet from Rex's hands. "Right now, we need to go home."

Rex looked sad but Buzz patted his nose, smiling softly at him and Rex perked up as he rejoined the rest of us. "Oh, but you needn't rush off," a voice coming from an unknown source to spoke to us.

Sora whipped around and drew his Keyblade when he saw it was the same silver haired man from earlier. "Xehanort!" He yelled as Donald, Goofy, Aina, and I summoned our weapons as well.

"I have more to observe," Young Xehanort said. "I can't let you leave yet."

"It's us that you really want," Sora stated. "Leave the others out of this."

"You would say that, champion of light," Xehanort smirked. "Very well, let's skip to the final stage."

Buzz gasped lightly and I glanced back to see that he stood, slumping over. "Buzz?" Rex asked with concern. "What's the matter?"

Darkness oozed out of him as Buzz pointed his arm at Woody, aiming the laser dot at his face. "C'mon, Buzz," Woody raised a brow. "Quit fooling around."

"Look out!" Goofy cried as he leapt in front of Woody, blocking a blast from Buzz with his shield.

"I can't believe it!" Woody cried as what was going on sank in for him. "Buzz has been taken over?"

Buzz continued shooting at Woody as Goofy continued to block them as well. Donald, Rex, and Aina ran over to Buzz as they tried to hold him back to stop his attacks while I joined Goofy and assisted him in deflecting the lasers while Woody hid behind us. "What did you do to him?" Sora demanded.

Sora sprinted forward and slashed Young Xehanort with his Keyblade but he disappeared just as the blade touched him. "I thought I made it clear," Young Xehanort stated as he walked in front of Sora, who tried to attack him again but he disappeared before the strike landed. "I am testing the strength of their bonds." Young Xehanort kept on appearing and Sora kept on attacking and he kept on disappearing as he continued his speech. Eventually, he stood on stop of a shelf above a display TV was.  "In this world, toys have hearts. And those hearts come from a powerful bond. So what happens when those bonds are stretched to their limit? When they are worlds apart, can cloth and plastic hold on to their hearts?" Sora chased after him to attack him once more and Young Xehanort disappeared. "All I needed was a wedge to widen the divide-someone like you to fill them with distrust and doubt." Young Xehanort reappeared and walked away from Sora, and Sora chased after him, attacking him he disappeared and reappeared in time with Sora's attacks while continued to walk. "And that chasm you created can be filled with a vast darkness." Young Xehanort appeared on the ground and Sora leapt off the shelf to land a hard hit on him but he vanished before the Keyblade touched him. "Witness it for yourself."

Sora turned to see the state we were in. "Sora!" Donald yelled.

"Do something!" Rex cried.

"Help!" Aina shouted.

"On my way!" Sora responded as he ran towards us but was yanked back by Young Xehanort. He held Sora in the air bu the wrist as Sora struggled to break free of his grasp.

"Leave him alone!" I shouted before swinging my Keyblade as another laser came my way.

"Not this time!" Young Xehanort growled as a red orb formed his his hand and he threw it Sora, which sent him flying into the TV that displayed a demo for Verum Rex.

"Sora!" I screamed as I prepared to run after Young Xehanort but another laser came my way, which interrupted my movement.

"Where am I?" Sora spoke from inside the TV.

Young Xehanort smirked at the screen that he trapped Sora within. "Haven't you heard?" He spoke to it. "In this world, you come form a  video game. Now you can watch my experiment from within the screen. That is, if you can find a moment's rest."

He disappeared within a Corridor of Darkness, taking Buzz with him. We all sighed and slumped a little, glad we could finally catch our breath, but still concerned of the whereabouts of Sora and Buzz. Hamm, the three aliens, Sarge, and his men came up to the video game store, probably since we were taking so long in here. I was worried about what Young Xehanort spoke of this "experiment" he was conducting. What did he plan to do with Buzz now he got him under his control?

Sora leapt out of the screen he was trapped inside, which made all of us cheer, "Sora!"

"Y'all alright, Sora!" Woody asked.

"Yeah, I'm just fine," Sora smiled. "And you? Wait...where's Buzz?"

"He disappeared into a dark corridor," Goofy explained.

"Oh..." Sora's face dropped, seeing that his joy from being free was short-lived.

"Sora, how do we get him back?" Woody asked.

"I don't know," Sora replied. "My power won't open those."

Woody dropped his head at the answer as Sarge and two of his men came towards Woody. "Sir, did I hear you say 'dark corridor'?" He asked.

"That's right, Sarge," Woody said. "Any ideas?"

"Well, it might be a long shot, but we've sighted a shadowy portal in the Kid Korral," Sarge reported. "We can infiltrate from a window inside Babies and Toddlers. I'll head there and get it open."

"Sarge, you're a lifesaver!" Woody grinned as he knelt down to the tiny army man's level. He turned back to us. "You giys in?' He asked.

"Yeah!" Sora, Donald, Goofy, Aina and I nodded.

"Please promise you'll bring Buzz home," Rex pleaded as we began to make our way to babies and Toddlers.

"With batteries included?" Hamm added.

"Journey safely," An alien spoke.

"Farewell," another waved at us.

"Don't worry," Woody assured as we turned around to face them. "We're gonna get our friend back.

Heading back to Kid Korral, woody pointed to the play structure. "Sora, look!" He yelled. There was a window open and behind the screen I could see wisps of darkness. "That must be the window Sarge mentioned."

Heading inside the Kid Korral, we saw the entrance up to the window was blocked by a pile of green blocks. "The entrance was blocked by blocks?" Sora cried with disbelief.

"Can you use the Gigas to move 'em?" Woody suggested, pointing to a fallen Giga by the blocks.

"Yeah, maybe," Sora nodded. "I'll try."

Sora climbed into the blue Giga and controlling it, rotated its hand as sparks came off it and lifted the blocks that blocked the way out. Backtracking a bit to find more of the same blocks, Donald pointed above. "Up there!" He yelled.

From a vent came a shadowy portal, only problem was it was high up. "How we gonna reach that?" Sora asked.

"Well, there are some more blocks here..." Woody stated but Gigas controlled by Heartless appeared.

Clearing them out with ease, Sora climbed back into the Giga he piloted earlier and doing the same thing as earlier, lifteing the blocks up by rotating a hand with sparks coming off it until it formed what looked to be a leg of something. "We'll need more than that," Goofy said.

So began our journey through the play structure Kid Korral, destroying Heartless as they came along as Sora reassembled the various blocks we found until they formed a cactus with arms and legs in a running position with three spikes on its head. It stood slanted as it leaned against the vent where the shadows came from as it opened. "Hey, is that...?" Donald started.

"A cactus?" Sora replied.

"Yup, and it's our way to to the dark corridor," Goofy said.

We climbed up the cactus Sora build with the blocs until we reached the opening of the vent. It was a strange way to get up there, but it worked nonetheless. Inside it was a Corridor of Darkness, which will hopefully lead us to Young Xehanort and Buzz. Sora glanced back at us. "It looked like this?" He asked.

"Yup," Goofy replied as we nodded in agreement.

"Here goes," Sora said as we stepped inside the portal. It took us to this realm filled with darkness. It formed clouds above us like regular clods in the sky and it swirled around our feet on the ground we walked on.

Buzz sat, lifeless as he floated within a pillar of darkness. "Buzz!" Woody cried as we ran towards him. Young Xehanort stood guard in front of Buzz.

"Xeanhort!" Sora growled.

"What do you want with my friend?" Woody demanded.

"Look...such tremendous darkness," Young Xehanort spoke. "All because he was ripped away from the boy who cares about him most."

"Does that mean...we'll all be like Buzz...if we don't...find Andy?" Woody said nervously as the darkness beneath on the ground swirled around all us.

"Wrong!" Sora shouted. "Distance doesn't matter. Andy's part of their hearts, just like my friends are part of mine." Donald, Goofy, Aina, and I nodded in agreement. "You can't rip that apart!" Sora continued.

Woody picked up his leg, look at the Andy's name beneath his shoe before back at Buzz, his unease now replaced with determination.

"What?" Young Xehanort spat. "'Your friends are your power'? Ah...how very true. But if the light of friendship is a form of power...the darkness of being alone is a power...even greater. Darkness is the heart's true nature."

Woody pushed Sora back as he stepped forward. "Whatever you're talking about, I don't care," he stated. "Put Buzz back the way he was then get lost!"

"Or else what, toy?" Young Xehanort replied, amused.

"Yeah, I am a toy. And a friend," Woody nodded as he stomped on the ground as he came forward to Young Xehanort, creating shortwaves with each step through the swirling darkness, revealing the pavement from underneath it all. "My guess is no one's ever loved you before. Because you know nothing about hearts and love."

Sora joined his side and spoke up as well as he and Woody walked forward, pushing the hole Woody created closer and closer to Young Xehanort. "There are hearts all around us, trying to connect," Sora said. "Your 'loneliness' only made Woody and Buzz's connection stronger. That's the heart's true nature-to never, ever let go. Wherever they are, Andy and the other toys haven't let go either."

"Yeah!" Woody agreed as the darkness spread out even forward. "You can't keep us from Andy! We're going home no matter what! And taking Buzz!"

"Xehanort, you're so caught up in finding the shadows, you forgot about the light that cast them," Sora stated.

The darkness pushed towards Young Xehanort and up to the pillar, casting Buzz in a cloak of light as the pillar disappeared. "No!" He cried, looking at what happened to Buzz.

Seizing this opportunity to get Buzz back, we all charged forward. Young Xehanort summoned his Keyblade as we summoned our weapons as he brought his weapon down on us while we blocked the attack with ours. "Woody, now!" Sora shouted.

Woody jumped up high, using his string behind him and the curricular ring it was attached to to catch onto a floating debris in the darkness as he swung forward, grabbing Buzz and tackling him to the ground. As the pull string retracted, his voice box from inside him yelled, "Giddy-up, partner! We gotta get this wagon train a-movin'!"

Buzz regained consciousnesses and opened his eyes, seeing Woody on top of him. Woody got off him as he asked, holding his head, "Woody...wait, how did I get here?'"

"Oh, I don't know!" Woody smirked as he elbowed Buzz. "Maybe somebody switched you into 'dark and stormy' mode.

"But I don't have a--" Buzz interjected but his eyes widened upon realizing what Woody meant. Woody held his hand out and Buzz acceted as they stood back up, smiling at each other. "Thank you, Woody," he nodded.

"Good to have you back, Buzz," Woody replied.

"Hey, hurry up!" Donald shouted as it grew harder and harder to kept Young Xehanort off of us.

"We can't hold him much longer!" Goofy yelled.

"Don't give up, guys!" Sora struggled.

"C'mon, we can do this!" I encouraged through gritted teeth as I strained to keep up with holding my weight.

"This won't last for much longer!" Aina said.

Young Xehanort lifted his weapon up and slashed horizontally, knocking us all back. "So, even empty puppets can be given strong hearts," he stated as Buzz aimed his laser at him. "I am going to have to remember that."

"Remember this-our hearts will always be connected to Andy's," Buzz yelled. "No matter what you do!"

"And that's something you'll never understand, because you're hallower than any toy," Woody added.

"But now I know a heart can be placed in the vessel of our choosing," Young Xehanort pointed out. "For that, let me give you a parting gift to play with."

"Wait!" Sora cried as he ran forward to attack Young Xehanort, but his strike went through him. He froze in place as Young Xehanort muttered something to him before disappearing.

"There!" Woody shouted, pointing to where the darkness parted, revealing a giant flying purple robot Heartless with six rocket blasters as a circular ring shield around it.

"Here goes!" Sora said as we all got into our battle stance, ready to fight.

It hovered about before spinning and flying towards to the ground to hit us, which caused us to scatter to avoid getting hit. Climbing onto its head, I froze it with Blizzard while Aina attack it with Fire to deal in some extra damage, but it summoned a lightning ball around its head, blowing us back. It shot missile that flew slowly towards us, making it easy to dodge. It then hovered above us, two laser points at the front of the ship forming a ball of lightning as it shot it the ground, spreading out over a wide area into two lines. Due to its massive range, I was unable to avoid its attack and was shocked as a result. Gritting through the fiery hot pain as I charged forward and climbed back onto its head with the others as we tried to finish it off before it began to deal serious damage to us.

Unfortunately, fate wasn't so kind as the environment darkened around us and everything was lifted from the ground and floated above the Heartless as red and blue robots formed a band of lightning around it. Climbing up the swirling blocks, we tried to attack its head once more but it cloaked itself in a tornado of lightning and ran around the area as we tried to run and dodge it. Once it was done with that, we climbed up on its head and finished it off for good.

The Heartless crashed to the ground and disappeared into ash, releasing its contained heart as we watched it float away. Sighing with relief, I dispelled my weapon and we went back to the entrance of the toy store where everyone was waiting for us. "So, Xehanort got away again," Goofy said as we headed back.

"Yeah, he's a big chicken," Donald replied angrily.

Sora stopped in his tracks and bowed at Woody and Buzz. "I'm sorry!" He apologized as Woody and Buzz stopped and turned around, confusion painted across their faces. "I wanted to get you back to the real world."

Woody and Buzz exchanged a perplexed look before smiling. "It does seem that we're trapped here," Buzz stated.

"We'll never get home," Rex said.

"Yeah, stuck like pigs," Hamm added.

"Our position appears fixed," Sarge said.

"Oh nooo," The three aliens said at once raising their arms in the air.

Goofy and Donald dropped their heads as Aina sighed. Even I felt bad. We went through all this trouble trying to reconnect these toys back to the real world and we were back to the same spot where we started at. "A shame we'll have to stay a little longer...with our new best friends," Buzz smiled.

"Huh?" Sora, Donald, Goofy, Aina, and I said in confusion.

"After all the adventures we've had, we're not quite ready to say, 'So long'," Woody said as he placed an arm on Sora's shoulder.

Sora laughed, "You guys..."

"I'm sorry that I was being so stubborn," Buzz apologized, holding his hand out. "Please forgive me."

Sora shook his head as he smiled, taking Buzz's hand and shaking it. "Hey, you were just looking out for your friends," Sora reassured. "No biggie."

"There's no harm in doing that," Aina added.

"Yeah, somebody's gotta be the sensible one, especially since Woody's always gettin' in trouble," Hamm commented.

"Gawrsh, that sounds a little like Sora, don't it?" Goofy said.

Woody and Sora pointed at themselves, looking at each other as Donald spoke up, "Yeah, I'm the dependable one!"

"I wish you could be when it comes to healing us in battle!" I snickered as Donald glared at me.

"Like Buzz!" Rex grinned. "...Kinda."

We all got a good chuckle out of this before Woody spoke up, "Besides, if we do go back to the real world, we'll never see you again, right?"

"But...what about Andy?" Sora asked. "You care about him so much.'

Buzz placed a hand on Sora's shoulder, catching his attention. "And he's still right here with us," he gestured to his heart.

Woody slung his arm over Sora's shoulder. "If we follow our hearts, we'll find him again," he said with a grin.

"Yeah!" Sora nodded, grinning as well.

As we all walked forward together as a group, Woody asked, "So, Sora, are you goin' after the guy in the black coat?"

"Something tells me we can't join you on that mission," Buzz added.

"That's okay...because you're become part of our hearts," Woody assured Sora by placing a hand on his shoulder before gesturing to his heart. The toys stopped in front of us as Woody left to rejoin them. Before he did that, he smiled and turned back around, pointing to Sora. "So let us become a part of yours," he said.

We smiled and ran forward as Sora gave Woody a one-armed hug, "Thank you!" He said.

"Now, off you go," Buzz said pointing upwards and we all looked up as well. "To infinity and beyond!"
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I spent a lot more time on this than I'd like to admit.
Look, I'm sorry, I meant to upload this during Thanksgiving Break but I had my wisdom teeth pulled and was in bed recovering from the whole ordeal, not in the mood to write. Once I recovered from surgery, it got infected and then I had to recover from that, and I the mood to write again, and by the time I was feeling well enough to get back to work, school was about to start again and then finals came in and ran me over.
Also, Merry Christmas to nyall who celebrate the holiday.
