Sorry its been like forever since I've updated but schoolwork,finals, recitals.  This might be shorter then usual because writer's block and that other stuff.And I entered this in the Fairy Tail Watty.FTWattyAwards2015,even though its not gonna win but either way, enjoy.

Natsu POV

I fought Gray while the dragons destroyed  FACE.  Suddenly I stopped when a all too familiar figure makes an appearance.Zeref. A smile appears on Mard's face as he coughs trying to sit up."Master Zeref."he says with glee reaching his hand out towards Zeref.Instead of looking at Mard he looks over to me,smiling."Master Zeref,I was just about to take care of these trash-"before he could finish a single sentence,Zeref turn towards him with  a death stare."How dare you call him trash?"he says with a hint of anger.Soon enough Zeref appears in  front of him,hand around Mard's  neck.

Zeref's POV

I used to have a little brother but he died a few years after coming into this world....

"Big brother,...It's c-cold."Natsu whins.I stare at the shivering body on my lap.Natsu...Tears wouldn't stop flowing from my eyes as I wipe them constantly.I curled my arms around his cold body."I don't want you to leave me."Natsu sniffles."Don't worry.I'll never leave your side."I said back trying to hold back my tears.
Years later after getting the curse
The egg-shaped capsule bubbles as my brother's dead body finally  comes back to life. I don't care if I've turned him into a demon,all I care is that he's alive once again.And it'll be better if he's the one to kill me.I walked over to the egg with a smile as his eyes start to wake.

Present

There he is,Natsu Dragneel. He's grown since that time but he's still not strong enough yet.I watch as he looks confused as to why I'm destroying Mard. I snap my fingers and turn Mard back into his book form while Natsu and his friend watches dumbfoundedly. I turn to them. "Now then,I'll be taking what's mines." I smile with my hand held out to them.  The book of END flashes into my hand as I turn away. "Natsu, sigh we couldn't start our fight,Oh well.Just get stronger, Natsu." I grin turning back to walk away."Oi!" he shouts rushing after me before his friend stops him. "Natsu wait-" he mutters glaring at me. "Let me go Gray!" Natsu growls trying to break free from his grip.With that I disappear. "Time's running out,Natsu." I mutter before leaving. Ahh still stubborn as usual I see.

Past

"No I won't!" Natsu mutters crossing his arms like a little brat. "You have to learn to read and write." I protest placing my hand on his shoulder and turn him around,facing me. Natsu was only 7 at the time. "Why should I? Its not like that's important."He exclaims slapping my hand away. I sigh placing my hand on my face. "As long as I can fight,its not important." he continues grinning. Yep,stubborn. He grabs my other hand, smiling up at me. I walked him to the little 'house' I made, which was more like a lab than a house.  I sat down in a chair with Natsu in my lab as I grab a book. "You're learning whether you like it or not." I mutter opening the book. Natsu groans glaring at the book.

After Natsu went to sleep, I took a walk meeting up with Igneel for the 10th time upon meeting him a couple centuries ago. "Igneel.." I greet with a soft smile. "Oh it you,Zeref." the large dragon smiles looking down at me as I sat on a rock. "How's Natsu?" he asked. "Ah but he's being stubborn as usual." I sigh. "What happened?" he asked.  "He refuses to learn how to read or write." I answer. A grin appears on the dragon's face. "He just needs a little motivation."Igneel explains.  "Well he was eager enough to learn Fire Dragonslayer magic with you.Think you can teach him? No matter what I try he won't listen to me." I continue. "Sure,old friend." he nods.
