Two months after Wendy and Fuyu met...

Natsu's POV

I don't feel like I'm getting any stronger. I continue pondering as Happy and I walk towards the next town. "Natsu, what's wrong?" Happy hovers towards my level. "Nothing. Don't worry about it." My reply making him look more worried. Happy been asking me questions like this ever since the incident in the mountains. I still haven't told him about that vision I had back then. Or any of the others, they just don't make sense. I've never met that kid before but he feels so familiar.

I shake off the feeling to get back to my goal. Getting stronger, and I won't return to Fairy tail until I do. Not that long after did Happy land on my head, getting tired. Well, I better head to bed as well.

In my dreams,

I find myself on a pathway in the middle of a field. OK? I don't recognize it nor do I see Happy anywhere. "Hello!"I call out as I walk down the path. "Happy!" No response as my voice echoes. Is this inside my head? I stop seeing the path split into two. One on the right which is darker and filled with dead trees and one on the left which seems familiar filled with trees and a mountain. I start walking toward the right as it feels like something in that direction was pulling me in."Natsu!"A voice calls out from the left and stops me in my tracks. I know this voice, my eyes widen as it calls out to me once more. I-IGNEEL?! I bolt down the left path, hoping my hunch was right.

Looking around I was back where Igneel uses to take care of me and teach me about magic. I smile thinking back to those real memories. "Natsu." Igneel's head appears from above the trees as he walks towards me. "Igneel. Its been so long. I thought you were-" His expression turns bleak. "I'm not the real Igneel, just a piece of him left inside you, " he explains. So he really is gone, but still. I rush over to give him a hug and started to tear up. "I don't have much time, so I must try and explain this to you," Igneel explains. Off in the distance, a large dragon made of flames roars. "That is the power Igneel wanted to give to you but you must make it your own. Are you ready?" "Of course I am. I'm fired up!" I grin raising my fist up and setting it ablaze. The dragon spots me and charges straight for me. I leap up to punch it in the face but, as soon as I make contact my flames were being absorbed by it. What? The dragon smacks me away with his hand with ease. I turn my body around to land on the ground. A real challenge, finally. This is real training. I burst my body in flames to shoot myself toward the dragon.

The dragon smacks me towards a tree. I'm not going down that easy. Regaining my balance on the tree trunk. In a quick motion, it swings a punch my way as I regain my balance on the tree. I swing a punch toward it as well. Upon contact, I try to overpower it with my strength.

"Nii-san!" an image of that boy appears with a smile. What?

I grip my head and lost my concentration on my punch. The force of the dragon throws me towards the part of the forest near the base of the mountain. I stand back up and shake my head. What was that all about?

-Ping

Walking around a town, I stumble upon a group of adults talking about something that big and new, that was starting up, involving magic. Getting closer I could hear their conversation better. It would seem they were talking about a new crystal that could absorb magic. But how would something like that exist? Time to gain a better understanding. If it can absorb magic, can it absorb curses...that's the last thing I need these humans to have. It didn't take me long to find the large barn with people carrying boxes out, loading them into wagons. The moment I saw a chance I sneak inside to see many boxes. I open one of them up to see rows of orbs of some kind, It was see through. Some of the orbs have a lightning bolt inside while some had fire and other types of magic.

What was that all about? Lacrima? Why would I be thinking of Lacrimas?

From above I was looking at something sparking below, followed by screams of agony. I leap down to get a better look. I was a group of mages ganged up around a small boy. "Come on, monster, we need more crystal." the leaders comments as he grabbing the kid by the small horns he had. Sniffling with tears, the kid creates a crystal ball like the ones I've seen in those crates. Charging up lighting magic, the other humans shock the kid with a high volt of magic as he screams. He holds the orb in front of him with shaken hands. The magic starts to swirl into the orb, being absorbed by it. Once absorbing it, the kid pants before passing out as the people finished up their attack. The scene simply angered me as I watch them throw the kid into a cage. This was my chance as I leap down and punched one guy through the wall.

I finally snapped out of my daze long enough to the dragon throwing a punch my way. On instinct I leap out the way, letting it punch the mountain instead. As I free fall, I looked around to spot the dragon flying towards me with another flaming punch. I burst my elbow into flames to move my body out the way in mid-air. I barely mange to dodge as I land on another part of the mountain. The dragon hovers as it roars, sending an spiral of flames my way. Instead of running, I stand my ground as fit engulfs me. I open my mouth and start eating the flames until the dragon was done with its attack, the smoke hiding me as I dash towards the dragon who landed on a nearby rock while trying to search for me. The dragon takes off, using the wind from it wings to blow the smoke away. I take this chance to leap up as high as I can from a high cliff side. "Fire Dragon's Claw!" I chant, creating flames from my feet, making myself speed faster towards the dragon as it catches me in its sight. I spin and slam a flaming kick into its face as hard as I could. The dragon was knocked back a little but regains itself as it readies itself for another attack. While I was upside down, I get another idea. "Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!" I chant bursting my whole body into flames as I charge towards the dragon. I manage to headbutt the dragon right into the chest, sending it towards the ground. It roars as it falls, making me grin.

Hearing the dragon roar in pain, made me feel good. Something inside me starts swelling up, pulsing. What is this feeling? 'Burn everything' As I watch the dragon fall in pain, my head and chest starts to hurt as I free fall.My flames start to burn strongly as Iose control over it. 'Destroy everything' I close my eyes as I grip my head as a vision comes to mind.

I watch the guy I punch fly into the wall, the noise bringing more of them towards me. The kid looks over towards me, shivering from his wounds. "What the a kid?" one of the other man says before seeing my horns and they soon go into a fighting stance. they each pulled out their own weapon, a cigarette, a deck of card and a hand full of seeds. I chuckled. "And what will you do with those huh?" I grin widely. The guy glares before throwing the seeds on the ground around me. "Chain plant!" they chain as the seeds grow into large vines that bind my arms and body. They really think this will hold me? the one with the cigarette grins as smoke shoots out from it,forming a fist towards me. While the fist head towards me, the last guy swipes one of his cards in from of him, and it shoots shards of ice towards me. Right as everything gets closer towards me, I start to laugh as everything slows down in my vision. My body burst into black flames, burning everything around me,blasting magic into nothing. "You humans think you can fight me?" I grin taking slow steps towards the surprised humans. My claws start to grow as I show my fangs, laughing creepily.

Meanwhile

Normal Pov

Natus's pupil start to fade as he starts goes into a trace like state. His grin widens as he chuckles devilishly. Something dark starts to take over Natsu's body. A shadow castes over his eyes as he looks as his hand as he falls. "So this is dragon magic. Guess it's time to have some fun with this while I can." a dark tone bellowed from Natsu as he burst his fist in flames. He uses flames from his feet to jet himself towards the dragon and grips its tail. The dragon looks towards Natsu as he toss the dragon far into a mountain before landing on a flat surface.

The dragon roars in pain before getting back up. Natsu grins widely as the dragon flies towards him once more. Horns starts to sprout from Natsu's head. "Let's see what dragon magic can really do. " he grins as he holds his hand out towards the dragon, while getting into a stance. He leaps up right as the dragon got close enough and swings his flaming hand towards the dragon's face as it opens its mouth wide. Natsu strikes the dragon's face,leaving a large flurry of flames before landing behind the dragon. The dragon roars and grips the side of its face. It turns towards Natsu, revealing the deep burning scar where it was hit.

Back to the vision

The man were on the ground, bleeding as Natsu drops one from his hands. "Heh, easy.Humans are so weak." I walk towards the shivering kid. "So you're the one that creates the crystals?" I questioned as my flames begin to die down. The kid replies with slow nod as he gets to his feet. "Well then, you might be on use to me. taking away human's magic would benefit me,greatly." I grin as I pick the small child up and begin to walk toward the exit. Only to have a large group of humans block the way with magical items. "Drop the demon." a leader looking human demands. "You humans don't give up to do?" I grin getting ready to fight. The kid shivers in my arms. "Oi, stop being scared. You're a demon and stronger than humans." I roll my eyes wondering if this kid is worth it as I drop him. I rush towards the humans as they slip up to run after the kid.

After fighting a few humans, it didn't take long for the kid to get cornered by the other group of humans. The human drew closer as the kid rises its hand towards them and closed his eyes, backing up into the wall. "Leave me alone!" he shouts as a large surge of energy was released. A large crystal was created,destroying the building in the process. I dashed over and grab the boy before leaving into the nearby forest.

I finally snapped out of the vision only to see my hand gripping the dragon's chest, in my gripping strike stance. "Burn way." those were the words that came from my mouth but it wasn't me saying it. A vast amount of explosive flames burst from my hand, burning the dragon as it was engulfed in flames, roaring in the process. Not long after did the roars died down until the dragon was no more than crimson flames. "Heh, did that help you,Natsu?" the voice inside me asked.Who are you? I kept wondering who was taking over my body?

"I'm you of course. The you you wont acknowledge nor except. " the voice replies to my thoughts. What? "Looks like my times up but I'll leave you with this advice. Get the book of END back." The feeling I get from this voice is fear. What is making me afraid of this voice?

I snap back to normal as Igneel's voice could be heard from the flames in front of me. "Natsu. take hold of the last of my magic and hold out your arm. You can only use this power once." I nod and hold my arm out. the flames swirl around my arm, turning into  dragon tattoo  as it burns into my skin. "I grant you flame dragon king magic. Use it wisely when the time is right," Igneel's last words to me were as the area turns white.
