Maries POV

I just had fallen asleep when Dan woke me up. He looked worried so I didn'T question his actions and stood up. I got dressed quickly and followed him into the kitchen. Woody and Will were already waiting for us and Kyle just entered as well. “What is going on?” I looked around and saw that they were all worried. “A pack is coming.” Will stated. I furrowed my brows. “A pack?” “We don't know what kind of pack, werewolves or wolves.” Now I was worried as well. Werewolves were hunting vampires. “don't worry, love. Everything will be fine, we just need to know what is out there.” Dan wrapped his arms around me and I buried my face in his chest. “What are we going to do?” Kyle looked at Dan questioningly. Dan took a deep breath “The problem is we can't smell the diffrence they are too far away.” Kyle nodded is head understanding. “Well, wolves wouldn't come near a lightened house right?” Woody looked at Dan questioningly. “I guess, but the question is what will the werewolves do. They could think we're dinner.” “Can't we fight the werewolves?” I asked them. Kyle smirked at me “'cause we can!” Dan sighed. “Depending on how many there are. We can't fight a whole pack. We won't be able to fight more than 10 werewolves at once.” I nodded understanding. “We should risk it and turn on all the lights.” I suddenly said after everyone was quiet for what felt like eternity. Their heads shot up and they looked at me surprised. “Well, wolf packs usually consist of the parents and their children. And after what you said it sounded like the werewolves were quiet similar to usual wolves, what would mean that there is a chance that the werewolfe pack consists of maybe fife werewolves. And also you said we could fight up to 10 werewolves, so why not try and if there are too many, we could still run right?” They looked at me shocked, Kyles jaw even dropped. I furrowed my brows. “Smart one you got there, Smith!” Will suddenly chuckled before padding my head. Dan chuckled before pecking my cheek. “Let's turn on the lights then!” Kyle chuckled before running out of the kitchen. Woody and Will followed him, leaving Dan and me behind. “You are full of surprises, Miss Jones.” He chuckled before pulling me close and kissing me passionetly. I pulled away and suddenly had another idea. My eyes windend and my mouth fell open, before I run out of the kitchen, leaving a confused Dan behind. I walked into the living room and turned on the music. Dan smiled at me understanding. “Noise, will keep them away.”

A howl made me jump and cuddle closer to Dan. He rested his head on top of mine and starred outside. Will, Woody and Kyle were playing video games. Dan started to hum to calm me and it worked. It worked so well that I fell asleep again, in Dan's arms.

Woody's POV

I chuckled to myself when I saw Marie and Dan cuddling on the sofa, they looked so cute together, I was really happy for them. I made my way into the kitchen. I flinched when I saw how bright it was in there. I cursed under my breath. I had told Kyle to pull down the blinds everywhere. I considered my options, I could quickly run in there and close the blinds, but it would hurt as fuck or just go back and play some more video games. I sighed. “I considered it as well but decided against it.” Will chuckled behind me. I turned around and chuckled as well. “Damn it. Something like this has to happen, as soon as M isn't a human anymore right?” We both chuckled again before we walked back into the living room. “Hey mate, did you hunt yesterday?” Will asked me suddenly. I furrowed my brows “Will, I fell asleep before you!” I chuckled, but he just looked at me with a serious expression. “there is blood under the bloody door!” My face fell and I run over to him. The red liquid was staining the carpet. Something had to be loosing blood like hell outside, but we couldn't open the door, we would be grilled.

We woke Dan, but we couldn't do anything right now we had to wait until dawn. It felt like ages until the sun finally began to set. As soon as it was dark, we all jumped towards the door. Dan ripped it open and a dead body was laying on out door step. I could hear Marie gasp and Dan quickly wrapped his arms around her, smashing her into his chest so she couldn't see it. The body was covered in bite marks, scratches and some parts were just missing.. I reconized it as one of the teenager's we fed on the night before. On his back someone scratched “We know”. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and looked around. Kyle was frozen of shock and looked like he would throw up any minute. Will just gulped and turned the body around. They had cut out the heart and parts of the face were ripped away. They had left another message on his chest “Leave tonight.” Dan joined us again and looked at the body. He crouched down next to the body to take a closer look. He stood up again and faced us. “We leave in 10 minutes.” We all just nodded.
