Chapter 17: No difference

A/N: We're coming to an end. Chapter 20 will be the last one and 18 is already written so this will be finished soon.

“When were you going to tell me?” I could hear Dan sigh as soon as the words left my lips. “Or did you even plan on telling me?” I finally turned around to find him, scratching his neck. “Why is she coming after me?” I took a step closer, my voice shaking slightly. “Because I've been stupid.” Dan mumbled, leaning his forehead against mine. “I've been so fucking stupid and now you have to pay.” He groaned, pulling away. “Dan, tell me what happened, please.” I took his hand, pulling him to face me.

-Flashback-

Dan dropped Aydeen to the floor. “You better run, pretty boy, otherwise you'll be my next meal.” The girl grinned, while Dan just raised his eyebrow. “Do you really think you are quick enough to get me?” Aydeen just grinned at him, taking a step closer. “You are either really dump or you are really not afraid of me.” Dan rolled his eyes, turning around to leave the silver haired girl. “I'm a fucking alpha, don't you dare just ignore me like that!” Aydeen shrieked, before running towards Dan. She jumped off the ground, ready to bite his head off, when in the last moment, Dan turned around and grasped her neck. “Let me go, you scum!” She squirmed in Dan's hand, while he just grinned at her. “You might be an alpha, little girl, but you have no idea what is going on. So go home and play with your toys, until you finally understand what is going on.” Dan growled, before he let her go. Dan turned around to leave, not taking another look at her. Suddenly something burning wrapped around his neck, forcing him to his knees. “I might not know much, but I do know that you fucking vampires don't really appreciate silver.”

Aydeen brought Dan back to her pack. He had been right, she was a rather young alpha and knew barely anything about the other supernatural creatures on this planet. She sighed, when she let his body fall down to the ground. “Take that bloody chain off my neck.” Dan croaked, the noise and smell of burning meat filling the air. “Get yourself together.” Aydeen growled, before she left the room. Dan could hear her talking to someone, while he tried to remove the silver from his neck. “Fucking werewolves.” Dan growled, letting his hands fall down onto his chest. “Just stab him, Aydeen.” Dan could hear an eager voice, which was quickly shut down by the silver haired girl. “This is not an option.” She growled, pushing the doors open and quickly closed them after her. “Tell me a reason not to stake you right now right here.” She crossed her arms in front of her, watching Dan curiously. “Why should I? You already stated that killing me is not an option.” Dan glared at her. “You know, I might should warn you though, I wasn't alone. My friends will come and find me and this won't end well for you pack. Let me guess you are around, what, seven people? They will tear every single one of you into pieces and as soon as that silver chain is gone, I will join them happily.” Dan growled, glaring at Aydeen, while her eyes widened. “Oh and, love, it makes no difference, whether you're an alpha or not.” Dan could see her eyes widen, resulting in him, giving her an evil smirk. She quickly spun around and left, leaving an evilly chuckling Dan behind.

“Did you kill every single one of them?” Marie looked at Dan in concern. “I wouldn't if I had had a other choice.” Dan tried to reason, while Marie just nodded her head. “I made the mistake in letting her alive though.” Dan mumbled, while Marie pursed her lips. “So she is seeking revenge?” Their voices and the sound of the ocean was the only thing that filled air. “No. She had her revenge.” Dan growled, picking up a stone. “She fucking killed my family.” Dan threw the water into the sea, a pained expression on his face. “Why is she still chasing us than?”
