Third Person

~the next day~

Flame yawned as he woke up and stretched his arms. He rubbed his eyes, getting adjust to the sunlight that hits his eyes. After doing so, he got up, and changed into a white shirt, red jacket, blue jeans, and brown shoes. His hair was a big mess.

He entered the bathroom, locked the door, stared at the mirror, and got his hair gel.

After doing his hair, he washed his hands, and left to the kitchen. His mom and dad were already up, his mom making breakfast. At hearing his footsteps, Kai and Skylor snapped their heads up from what they were doing, and looked at Flame.

"Morning," Flame said, taking a seat in near the kitchen table. "Morning," Skylor said, giving him a plate of pancakes.

A few minutes later, Sunset came in with a light-blue long sleeve shirt, a orange sweater, black jeans, grey shoes, and her brown hair tied up in a ponytail. "You're finally awake," Flame said, jokingly. "What's that suppose to mean?" Sunset asked. "Nothing," Flame quickly said, not wanting to face his sisters' wrath.

After breakfast, Sunset and Flame got their phones and went through their Instagram. It was currently 11:48 a.m. Meanwhile, Kai was on his phone, calling someone. "Come on, pick up," Kai muttered. "Dad?" Kai spun around to see Flame and Sunset looking at him. "Who are you trying to call?" Flame asked. As Kai was about to answer, a feminine voice came from the phone. "Kai?" Alerted, Kai instantly called back. "Nya!"

Both Flame and Sunset looked at each other. They were sure that last night during dinner, their dad mentioned someone named Nya. And they were definitely sure that he said that she was their aunt.

While their dad talked with their aunt, they heard a bit of arguing in the phone. They wondered what it was about, but didn't questioned it. A few minutes later, their dad ended the call and he then went to their mom. They were having a "private" talk. Flame and Sunset thought this was suspicious.

Not questioning it, they watched YouTube on their phones. After a while their parents went to talk to them. "Kids," Skylor said, which caught their attention. "Yeah?" Sunset said. "We've got something to tell you," Skylor continued.

"What is it?" Flame asked. "Well, you guys heard me call your aunt and well," Kai started. "We're visiting over in 2 weeks." "Are you serious?!" Sunset said in shock. Both Kai and Skylor looked at each other and nodded to them. "This. Is. Awesome!!" Flame exclaimed along with Sunset. Their parents chuckled a bit before doing their everyday things.

Flame and Sunset looked at the clock which said, 12:30 p.m. "Mom! Dad! Me and Sunset are going out to the city!" Flame called out. "Okay, just make sure to return before 6p.m!" Kai said. "Will do!" Sunset said as Flame and Sunset put away their phone's in their pockets and left the door.

Flame and Sunset walked around the city for an hour and a half, buying stuff they found interesting, with the money they had. When they saw it was 1:30 p.m., they made their way to the forest.

~with Moonlight and Shadow~

"Mom, dad, me and Moonlight are heading to the forest," Shadow said.

"Alright, but be back by evening!" their dad--Lloyd--said.

"We will!" Moonlight said as she and Shadow left the house.

They ran to the forest to meet up with Morro, for then the three of them could meet up with Flame again, but this time, they were going to meet his sister.

"Morro!" Moonlight shouted. "Morro! You there?!"

"Morro, come on!" Shadow also shouted. "Morro!"

"I'm right here! Jeez, you don't need to shout." Moonlight and Shadow turned around to see Morro casually floating, his bangs covering his eyes.

"Thank god! You almost gave us a heart attack!" Moonlight said. Morro gave a confused face. "How come? I'm a ghost, people can't bring me harm, unless they throw water at me so..." Morro said. "Yeah, but, you're like a brother to us," Shadow said, giving Morro a small smile. "Am I now....brother," Morro teased.

"Haha, very funny," Shadow said, sarcastically while Moonlight laughed a little. "Come on guys, we have to head where we first met Flame," Moonlight said as she lead the way, Morro and Shadow right behind her.

After a while, they reached the familiar spot. "Here it is!" Morro exclaimed as he floated under a tree, letting the shade cover him.

"Now," Shadow started. "We just need to wait." Moonlight nodded as she sat down under a tree, giving her shade, and she soon travelled to her thoughts.

She thought about yesterday. Flame had saved her, but, was there any way that she could repay him?

Now, that she thought about it, Flame was a nice guy. He didn't judge her or Shadow about the red mark thing, and he even was their friend! But there was a part of her mind that told her that Flame was more than just a friend. But that couldn't be possible, right?

Moonlight snapped out of her thoughts when she saw a hand waving in front of her face. "Hello, earth to Moonlight!" Moonlight looked up to see Shadow. "Did I...miss something?" Moonlight asked.

"No, but I called your name six times! You zoned out quite a bit," Shadow said. "Yeah, what are you thinking about?" Morro asked. Moonlight sighed a little. I can't hide it now, Moonlight thought.

"Well, I don't know, my mind just seems to wander about the events on yesterday when Flame saved me," Moonlight said.

"I'm telling you," Morro started. "He has a crush on you~"

Moonlight's face went red. Why am I feeling like this? she asked herself. "It was probably just nervousness he had," she said, turning away to not let them see her blushing.

"Yeah, sure," Morro said. "I bet you also have a crush on him!" Moonlight blushed even more. "N-No, just shut up!" Moonlight said.

At that moment, they heard footsteps nearby. What time was it?

"Hey Shadow, what time is it?" Moonlight asked. "2:30 p.m. You zoned out for quite a while," Shadow chuckled.

Moonlight's eyes travelled to where she hears the footsteps. That is when saw him. Standing a few feet away from them was Flame, and a girl just behind him.

"Umm...hey," Flame said.

"Hi...." Moonlight said, awkwardly.

"Oh, you're here!" Shadow said, taking notice of Flame.

"Yeah, and I'll like to introduce you to my sister," Flame said, stepping aside, letting his sister be seen.

"Hi," she said, smiling. "I'm Sunset."

Moonlight got up from the under the tree and walked towards Sunset. She looked quite surprised when she saw the red mark, but Moonlight didn't see any hatred or disgust hidden on her face.

Moonlight hold out a hand to Sunset. "I'm Moonlight," she introduced herself. "It's nice to meet you."

Sunset smiled and shook her hand. "It's nice to meet you too," Sunset said. Shadow came from behind Moonlight. "I'm Shadow," he said, shaking her hand soon after Moonlight did.

"Hey, Morro!" Moonlight yelled. "We got a new visitor!" "Alright! I'm going!" Morro said, phasing through a tree.

Sunset looked shocked and there was some excitement in her eyes. "You're a ghost! That's so cool!!!!" Sunset exclaimed. "Well, thank you," Morro said.

Sunset looked from Morro, to Moonlight, to Shadow. "Are you all siblings?" she asked.

"What? No no no no no!" Moonlight quickly said. "We just act like it."

"Although, I would really much like to be siblings," Morro confessed. "Oh really?" Shadow said. "Well, in my opinion, we're already siblings!" Morro rolled his eyes playfully but still managed to let a smile place on his lips.

"Hey, maybe we can learn more about ourselves," Flame suggested.

"That sounds like a great idea, seeing as we're starting out as friends," Sunset said.

"Alright, getting to know each other is what we're doing then," Moonlight said.
