A/n : hey everyone Nightmare here and welcome to the first chapter of "DARKNESS BRINGER". Let's bust jump into it.

(Y/N) POV 9 YEARS LATER

It has been 9 years since Phobetor took me in. He taught me many things. Like how I can control my powers or how can I travel between the realm of the death and the living without Hades taking my soul.........and he has been after my damn soul for so long. Anyways through out the years I've changed a lot. My ways changed twice now. Once I wanted to only free the world of the corruption it had within with the help of my Master and father figure Phobetor and my......ex-fiance Jane. But now......I only seek vengeance to whom took my happiness from me. My master insists that I should not go toe to toe with the sisters of fate......yet. He thinks that I'm not ready and I should think twice. And I did. At first I thought that the people were a tool for the sisters......but after seeking them out.......I learned the truth. The sisters were the tool for the men. The sisters showed me what they've been through......and it was horrible. Some people calling themselves the Templars attacked the fates with artifacts know only as the pieces of eden. After learning that the sisters guided me to where I had to go.....to a temple of some sorts. When I made it there I was taught the art of combat and swordsman ship like never before. The men there were wise enough to see the pain I went through and the burden I carry. They even explained that it were the Templars who killed Jane because she was one of them. I then understood what I had to do. I joined their guild and took in their lessons to my heart and soul. If it wasn't because of them I would've been long gone way before. Being in their guild I felt the pain of loss even more but I learnt to live without the guilt knowing that their souls will be in peace. My master gave a name to me that everyone have heard before......the Knightmare. Champion of the Nightmare god and the protector of the weak. But in the night........I become a whole different entity. In the night......I become THE Nightmare. He's a whole different person from me. He is dark and merciless while even I show some of my enemies mercy. But we both agree on one thing and that is.......WE HATE RAPISTS. we've been roaming around Vale for quite a while now until we heard a scream.

??? : no. Stop! HELP!

??? : don't worry little girl. We won't hurt ya.

??? : hey boss. Looks like she's still virgin.

??? : good. It's going to be fun~.

Oh we don't think so mother fucker. I made my way to the sound with anger in our eyes which were shining crimson red.

I made my way into the alleyway with my head down only the reflection of my eyes were showing on the ground.

??? : oh would you look at that. A guy who wants to also have some fun.

At that moment I let loose......of the Nightmare.

Knightmare : LEAVE TO FIGHT FOR ANOTHER DAY......OR STAY AND DIE. YOUR CHOICE.

I heard them laugh at my statement. I then heard footsteps coming towards me. One of the thugs out his hand on my shoulder and the other which had a knife over my neck.

Thug 1 : look buddy. You're just a guy with nothing as a weapon while we're three guys who got guns and knives. So what are you gonna do now?

Knightmare : *SMIRKS AND RAISES HEAD FOR THEM TO SEE HIS RED EYES* I'LL GIVE YOU HELL. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I looked at their frightened faces. It was priceless. I looked at them and noticed that they're white fang. And they were harrasing........a rabbit faunus? Oh they've done it.

Knightmare : YOU'VE DONE IT NOW YOU LITTLE UNDERGROUND RATS. YOU'LL FACE THE NIGHTMARE.......NOW!!!!!

A dark cloud started covering my whole body and seconds later the clouds disappeared to show me in my Nightmare armor.

I glared at all of them with hatred and rage knowing that the only way left for him is to kill the fang members. I decided to show some mercy before becoming fully Nightmare.

Knightmare : THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE. RUN AWAY AND LIVE. OR STAY AND DIE. YOUR CHOICE.

None of them even moved an inch. Well then......GUESS IT'S TIME TO KILL. I grabbed the guy's hand and twisted it making him scream in pain.

Knightmare : DOES IT HURT? THEN LET'S MAKE IT MORE!

I twisted his wrist more and more making him scream more. I eventually ripped both of his arms and smashed his head with his own hands. The other two looked afraid that they put the rabbit faunus as their hostage so I'd let them go. But they're so wrong.

Fang member : hey man. Let us go......or I'll kill this bitch. Your choice.

I teleported right in front of him and made him look at my crimson eyes.

Knightmare : EMBRACE THE FEAR. LET IT TEAR YOU APART.

When I said that the poor bastard started screaming in fear and dropped the girl. I took the girl back to the entrance of the alley.

(Y/N) : run.

I then turned to the remaining fang member who was running to the rooftops. I went after the son of a bitch to the rooftops but instead of climbing I just teleported to the rooftops and landed on top of him.

Fang member : p-please.....have mercy......I beg o-

Before he could finish I stab his throat with my hidden blade. I closed his eyes and looked at his dead body on the roof.

Knightmare / (Y/N) : REST IN PEACE

With that I went back to the alley and saw the rabbit faunus still there. I changed my robes to look less scary so she would speak to me without stuttering or being afraid. I dropped down and landed on my knees. I slowly stood up and looked at her in my other robe.

hadow (it's his Codename as a normal assassin) : why didn't you flee as I told you so?

Faunus : I-I just.......I just wanted to thank you. But.........who are you sir?

Shadow : *sigh* I have two names......my enemies call me....Knightmare...... And my friends call me.....Shadow.

Faunus : very well then Mr Shadow. I'm -

Shadow : Velvet Scarlatina. Age 17. Huntress in training. Student at Beacon academy. Am I correct?

Velvet : H-how?

Shadow : I know a lot of things miss Scarlatina. Now I must leave.

Velvet : wait! Can I.....at least take a photo of you? So I can remember who saved me.

Shadow : I suppose you can. But in which robe? The Knightmare one or the Shadow?

Velevt : if it was both it'd be great.

Shadow : well then.

I then stood there and Velvet took a couple of shots of me in my Shadow robe.

Velvet : perfect. Now would you change to your Nightmare robe?

Shadow : look Velvet....it's Knightmare. With a "K" at the start.

Velvet : okay then. So would you do it?

I just shrugged and made darkness cover me. When the darkness was gone I was in my Knightmare armor. She then took some shots from that as well.

Velevt : great. Thank you. Now I must leave it's almost curfew time.

I turned back to Shadow and nodded at her.

Shadow : okay then. I'll see you later miss Scarlatina.

I then teleported away from the scene and went to my apartment in the city. I took off my robes and just wore a normal t-shirt and some jeans.

I then made my way to the phone and saw I have 3 new messages. I pressed the play button.

Messenger : message 1.

??? : hey uhhh.......(Y/n). You might not remember me but.....it's me Pyrrha Nikos. We met in Sparta 2 (credit to DrDeath001 for giving me the idea with his story)

Just hearing that voice made my heart skip for a second. Okay keep cool. Stay cool. I just listened to the rest of the message.

Pyrrha : I.....I just heard that you're in vale so I just wanted to let you know that I would come to your door any second. *giggles* anyways.....I just wanted to say that it's great to have you here. Bye.

Her messages always brought a smile to my face and I just couldn't help it. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH ME?!

Messenger : message 2.

??? : 234, 639, 584, 134, 096.

I quickly wrote down the numbers. But what do they mean? I'll check it later.

Messenger : massage 3

??? : 120, 256, 059, 301, 219

Now that......makes more of a sense. I put the codes in my computer and it gave me some random locations through out the city. Tony's pizza, the dust till dawn store, the docks, under an arcade and one is about Beacon academy. I must understand what these numbers mean.....but for now I can't cause its time for my favorite series. "son of the devil" and "Beacon's doom patrol" from zombiereader334 and stevethealbino. These are really great shows. I just sat down and watched the series.

Two hours later

The shows were over and I was already tired so I went to bed and slept like a baby.

NEXT DAY

I was just sleeping in my head being as peaceful as I could be but something or I better say someone had to ruin it. I heard hard knocking on my door. I rubbed my eyes tiredly and slowly went to the door and opened it. I then saw a guy with green suit, white hair, a green scarf thing on his neck and a cup of coffee. Oh shit. It's Ozpin.

Ozpin : good morning Mr Schnee.

(Y/N) : yeah morning to you to-..... HOW THE FUCK FO YOU KNOW MY NAME???!!!

Ozpin : I know many things about you.....Knightmare. Or do you prefer to be called Shadow?

(Y/N) : okay enough rubbish. What do you want Ozpin?

Ozpin : it's just a simple rquest. I just want you to join Beacon.

(Y/N) :..........

Ozpin : uhhh.......hello?

(Y/N) : I.....I just don't know what to say......thank you headmaster.

Ozpin : so do you accept?

(Y/N) : yes. I'd love to.

Ozpin : very well......a bullhead will come for you tomorrow morning. Be ready.

I nodded and he left me with a happy face. Well at least I'd look what the hell those numbers meant. I let out a sigh and went inside the appartement to eat my breakfast. I just can't believe that Ozpin came after me to invite me to join Beacon. It'd be such great opportunity for me to show what I'm really capable of.....now Beacon get ready for.....
