I feel my feet touch the ground,
As darkness clashes all around,
I hear them breathing in the night,
While darkness feeds on their freight,
Soft wimpers fall from their lips,
As they're touched by darkness' finger tips,
Then I heard such a thunderous sound,
So powerful that it shook the ground,
Straining to look light was all I could see,
Not realizing it was shining from me,
As I wondered what to do,
God spoke I'm shining through you,
Let them know they're why I died,
So darkness has no where to hide,
I paid the price upon that tree,
To give them life and set them free.
