Steve and Rachel fought the Chitauri alongside Thor. Steve was hit and fell down. Thor knocked over the rest of the Chitauri with his hammer and a car. He held out his hand to Steve and helped him up. "Are you ready for another bout?" he asked him. "What, are you getting sleepy?" Steve replied.

"Right at the crown!" Erik yelled, instructing Grace who held the sceptre. She did as he asked. "I can close it", she said. "Can anybody copy? I can shut the portal down". "Do it", Steve said. "No, wait", Tony interjected.

"Stark, these things are still coming"

"I got a nuke coming in. It's gonna blow in less than a minute. And I know just where to put it"

"Stark, you know that's a one-way trip"

Grace looked up to see Tony and the missile flying up toward the big black hole in the sky. "Tony", she whispered.

The Chitauri started powering down. All of the Avengers were looking up at the sky, waiting for Tony to come back down. "Come on, Stark", Rachel said. Nothing happened. Steve sighed. "Close it", he instructed. Tears brimming in her eyes, Grace followed his instructions. The hole closed and Tony began falling from the sky. Grace softly smiled and ran to go down to meet him.

"Son of a gun", Steve muttered. "He's not slowing down", Thor commented, winding up his hammer. Before he could do anything, Hulk grabbed Tony as he fell just as Grace made it to the ground. Hulk dropped Tony to the ground and they all rushed over. "Is he breathing", Steve asked as they all knelt beside him. They all looked solemn as he stayed unconscious. Hulk roared and Tony gasped, opening his eyes. "What the hell?" he said. "What just happened? Please tell me nobody kissed me". Grace laughed, bent her head down and kissed him. He looked shocked for a moment but quickly recovered, smirking at her. "We won", Rachel stated. "Alright, yay!" Tony said weakly. "Hurray. Good job, guys. Let's just not come in tomorrow. Let's just take a day. Have you ever tried shawarma? There's a shawarma joint about two blocks from here. I don't know what it is, but I want to try it". "We're not finished yet", Thor said.

"And then shawarma after"
