Darkfrost laud down in the sun. His eyes partially closed. Poppypaw was with him. She looked at him. "Your eyes are amber today.", she said with fianlity. Darkfrost smirked and nudged her with his hind paw. "Took you long enough", he joked. She laughed and nudged him back. Wish came over and smiled. "Hello Poppypaw, hello Darkfrost.", she said politley. Poppypaw flicked her tail in greeting. "Hi!". Darkfrost smiled at the white she-cat. "Hey."  It had been a quater moon since she had arrived. Now Darkfrost had two cats who believed his story. Wish just thought the clan was down right barbaric,  Wichita he had never heard of the term, but she said it meant wild like fixes or badgers. With no sense of passion or empathy towards lower cats. Darkfrost agreed with her. Wish had  been one to help him with whatever she could. He knew Poppypaw would do the same, but most needed sight and she had her own duties to take care of. Darkfrost sighed and took in the sunlight as it shone down on the clearing. Wish licked a patch of his fur that was sticking up. "There now you look rather presentable.", she said with a smile. Darkfrost smirked. "You know it's just gonna get messed up again when my break is over.", he said with a smile. Wish shrugged and messed with the ivy tendril around his neck, making sure his neck fur aligned perfectly or something. He didn't stop her though. He liked being fussed over, for the right reasons, not the bad ones. She had finished and leaned back to admire her work. "Very handsome.", she said with a smile. Poppypaw stuck out her toungue. You must be as blind as I am, he sounds pretty ugly to me.", she said with a mischevious smile. Darkfrost gently kicked her. "Hey, that hurts my feelings, I'm not as half as Ugly as I sound."  He said indignantly. Wish couldn't stop laughing. Darkfrost chuckled as the she-cats mused about his looks. He thought he was quite good looking for someone you had been through so much. He gave an exasperated sigh as Badgersun stomped over to him. "The master calls.", he said as he got up and sauntered over to The large warrior. Poppypaw sighed and got up as well. "I better go see if Honeygaze needs me.", she said with a flick of her tail. "Bye wish". "Goodbye Poppypaw", wish said as she stood up. She turned to see Darkfrost already arguing with the massive warrior. She rolled her eyes and padded over to him. Badgersun was glaring down at Darkfrost. "What did I tell you about hanging around The she-cats?", Badgersun hissed. Darkfrost reached duo so he was almost parallel with The warriors yellow eyes. "First of all, Poppypaw is my friend and I'm allowed to hang out with her, that part of the little agreement Fawnshadow and I made. And wish is a free. At who can do what she wants and she chooses to hang out with me. Probably the only cat who's telling the truth at this point.", he snapped. The last part was a mistake. Badgersun smacked him right across the face. He splattered and to his dismay blood pooled form his mouth. He coughed and wheezed.bot looking at Badgersun, he caught the glimpse of Wish. She had a horrified expression of her face. Darkfrost tried to smile reassuringly but he was pinned to the ground by Badgersun. "I've had enough of your attitude!", the tom roared. Darkfrost splattered once more. He could feel his ribs cracking beneath the prssure. He would be in the medicine den for days if not weeks. Badgersun bit down on Darkfrost's scruff and pulled back. Darkfrost hissed in pain. He tried to fight back. He couldn't breathe, and his ribs and neck were in excruciating pain. His claws extended as far as they could go. He didn't know when he blacked out. Or of had at all. All he remembered was Wish screaming and lits, and lots of shouting.
-A moon later-
Darkfrost woke up and looked around. His head was pounding as his chest burned. He realized he was in the medicine den and was bewildered when Honeygaze came in, saw him and then raced out. He was to sore to get up, merely lifting head had caused him to groan in pain. Poppypaw and Wish rushed in and fussed over him. He was having trouble hearing, and he was light headed. "What happened?", he asked looking around. He finally focused in on Poppypaw's and Wish's faces as they began to talk. "Badgersun nearly killed you. You are lucky to survive.", Poppypaw said. Wish licked his cheek, "We thought you were dead!". Darkfrost blinked dais eyes. "What happened after he almost killed me?"  He asked. "You were rushed in her and Fawnshadow started to yell at Badgersun. He was left with some serious toungue lashing and  then a furious glare, but other than that he is ok.  Some cats think he shouldn't have attacked you, and that he should have been banished.", Wish said. "Who was standing up for me?", he asked. Poppypaw answered. "I was, Wish, Cinderbell, Sagefether, Sunlilly, Finchfoot, Swanpaw and Wolfpaw, their mentors and...", she stopped as if unsure whether or not she should say it. Darkfrost frowned. "Who was the last one?", he asked. "Seastorm.", she said. Darkfrost's jaw gaped as the world started to spin around him. 'Seastorm was trying to stick up for me?' What happened to him  being a rougue, and he despising him. He  had always voice the fact that he didn't care if he died before. What had made him change?
