Darkfrost crouched and gasped as Canary landed in his shoulders. "Hey, you squirted get off me!"  He said with a laugh. The yellow she-cat jumped off of him and smiled. "Sorry big brother. I love calling you that!", she said nuzzling him. He licked her cheek and purred. "Me too. Little sis." He said with a grin. He turned to see his little brother oat walking up to him. "C-could you show me how you did that crouch?", he asked softly. Darkfrost nodded and smiled. He instructed him for hours. Once Oat had gotten it perfectly, Darkfrost was stretching. Pachi came up to his side and purred. "Hello Cooper.", she said with her raspy voice. Darkfrost looked at her and tilted his head. "Hello mother. Man, it feels odd being called Cooper, but I'm glad I actually have a family now.", he said and nuzzled the she-cat. She nodded. "You will always be son. No matter what your name is.", she said with a purr. Dakrfrost smiled. "I'm glad.", he said. Milo bounded up to them and smiled. "Hey Dark- ah I mean Cooper. Someone is here to see you.", he said. Dakrfrost raised an eyebrow. "Who is it?", he asked as he followed the tabby out. Suddenly he was tackled by two very persistent she-cats. He looked at their angry gazes as they stared him down. "Wish? Poppypaw?", he said with a bewildered look on his face. Poppypaw hissed. "Actually, it's Poppysky now.", she said as Wish growled at him. He shot a glance to milo who was slowly slinking away. "Uh, what's wrong?", he asked hesitantly. Wish scoffed. "Oh only the fact that you left with out saying goodbye.", she hissed and Poppysky stepped in. "And you left with some stranger claiming he was your brother!". Darkfrost got up with a sigh. "My life isn't the best. And when you find your brother you never knew you had. You'd be pretty eager to leave."  He muttered. Wish hissed angrily. "It shows me how faithful you are. You didn't even think to say goodbye. Would it have killed you to at least tell us where you were going?" She asked. Darkfrost flattened his ears. "Maybe I didn't want to be found. Maybe I wanted to leave my old life behind me.", he hissed back. Wish backed up. "So I'm just a part of your old life. We have nothing anymore.", she said coldly. Darkfrost's eyes widened. "N-no that's not what I meant. I..", he trailed off. Wish shook her head. "Look Darkfrost. It's been rough without you. The others are suspicious. Seastorm told us you were dead. Lunarstorm told us you might be here, so I'm sorry. But if you don't want me anymore then I will leave.", she said softly. Darkfrost blocked her exit. "No wish. I want you. I'm sorry I left without saying goodbye. I couldn't be near Seastorm any longer. He stole me when I was a kit. I didn't want to be near him. I would have come sooner...", he said staring into her eyes. She frowned and a tear fell down her cheek. "Darkfrost...", she whispered before nuzzling his neck. He smiled faintly and nuzzled her back. "Well. I feel left out....", Poppysky muttered. Darkfrost laughed. "Go talk to oat. He is pretty cute. I think you would like him.", he said. Poppysky smirked. "Ew that would make me related to you. I'm good.", she said with a smile. Darkfrost rolled his eyes. "Whatever medicine cat.", he said with a chuckle.
