I have always wondered

When the world will end.

Will we know when it ends

Or will it be sudden,

Missed if you blink?

Will there be thunders and fire,

Earthquakes and floods,

Or will the world

Just stop turning?

Will gravity leave

And make us float

Into outer space?

Or will we be sucked underground

And melt in the molten core?

I don't know when the world will end

I don't even know how

But I know that I'll be ready

If it happens in my lifetime
