On a side note, this "chapter" serves more as a very brief glance at the dragon species. Not all species are listed and instead only species from a single tribe is listed. Pictures of each species will be uploaded as the drawings are completed.

~ Elemental Dragons ~

Queen: Queen Seyte (fire dragon).

Fire Dragon

Individual Shown: Princess Hella.

Description: Scales the color of fire though on rare occasions are a rich blue, or even rarer, white; feathery wings; quills on the back of their heads that can raise and lower depending on the dragon's emotions; can sometimes have black or white stripes; purple toungue.

Breath Weapon: Fire.

Known Primal Dragons On Earth: Princess Flare and Queen Seyte.

Mind Dragon

Individual Shown: Cletious Marble.

Description: Darker colored scales with gold specks splattered across the top of their wings and backs; arrowhead tail.

Breath Weapon: A strange mist that causes hallucinations to all who come in contact with it; only other mind dragons and ice dragons are immune to this mist.

Known Primal Dragons On Earth: N/A.

Shadow Dragon

Individual Shown: Avrae.

Description: Black scales that sometimes hold hints of other colors within them like hidden gemstones; feathery wings; quills on the back of their head that can raise and lower depending on the dragon's emotions; extremely powerful and flexible tail; venomous fangs; some individuals even have venom or acid in their claws.

Breath Weapon: Shadowfire; on rare occasions electricity.

Known Primal Dragons On Earth: Skull.

Wind Dragon

Individuals Shown: Nitsu (left), Sage (right).

Description: The only dragon species that is completely covered in feathers; often brightly colored like the birds of paradise; doe-like ears; venomous fangs.

Breath Weapon: Paralyzing spray.

Known Primal Dragons On Earth: Nitsu.

Light Dragon

Individual Shown: Trynt.

Description: White or pale colored scales; some individuals have translucent wings; tuft of fur on their tail tip; whiskers on their face; mane of fur similar to a horse's down their spine; some individuals have a tuft of fur on their elbows; fur can be any color.

Breath Weapon: White fire.

Known Primal Dragons On Earth: Mira and Trynt.

Earth Dragon

Description: Can have brown, grey, black, or green scales; ram-like horns; club tail.

Breath Weapon: N/A. Instead uses a sonic roar.

Known Primal Dragons On Earth: Grywell.

Ice Dragon

Description: Scale colors range from silver to blue and from purple to pink, though on extremely rare occasions scale color can be black; serrated claws; extremely thick scales; often has white, blue, or even golden flecks or stripes across their body.

Breath Weapon: Ice.

Known Primal Dragons On Earth: Freya and Slyther.

Life Dragon

Description: Green or white scales sometimes with splatters of other colors on them; frill on side of head; translucent wings.

Breath Weapon: Acid.

Known Primal Dragons On Earth: Zerkon (recently exiled from the Elemental tribe).

Metal Dragon

Description: Black, silver, red, dark green, purple, or brown scales; long flowing whiskers on sides of snout that are only present on individuals over the age of 375; frill of spikes behind horns; razor sharp wings that can slice through even diamonds with ease; long whip-like tail covered in razor sharp spikes that can be launched off towards enemies; splatters of gold, silver, or bronze scales underneath wings.

Breath Weapon: Purple fire; on rare occasions a silver substance that hardens rapidly and can trap even other dragons once hardened.

Known Primal Dragons On Earth: N/A. Went extinct during the second Purity Wars.

~ Transitional Dragons ~

Queen: N/A. Transitional dragons aren't a true dragon tribe due to having no real structure like the tribes do and having no clear leader. Instead it is every dragon for themselves in this "tribe."

Dark Dragon

Description: A corrupted dragon. Often times a dragon that has become so corrupted by power, whether their own or someone else's, that the dragon him/herself physically mutates. Commonly mistaken for shadow and mind dragons; still retains the same description as the dragon's birth element but has black or silver veins across their spine and topside of their wings like a spider web while scales and/or feathers are visibly darker than what they were originally. Spider webs are often referred to by other dragons as "the mark of darkness."

Breath Weapon: While still being able to breathe their birth element's breath weapon, can also breathe a strange black mist; it is unknown what the mist does.

Known Dark Dragons: Titan (a hybrid ice fire dragon).
