The Dark Zone is a nation of shady societies whose true loyalty is yet to be determined. Demon World Marquis, Amon is the self proclaimed leader of the Dark Irregulars, an army of horrors who gained power through forbidden science and dark magic. The Spike Brothers, lead by General Siegfried, are Cray's premiere Bloodball team, a sport said to be a combination of rugby and american football. The Pale moon clan is a popular circus who also double as assassins for hire, their leadership isn't obvious, but it's implied that Hades Ringmaster is in charge. A more resent arrival to Dark Zone is the Gear Chronicle clan, who appeared out of one of Dark Zone's ancient ruins, the other clans have been observing them, but to this day, Gear Chronicle's motives and objectives remain unclear.
