The Gear Chronicle clan is a more recent arrival to Cray, appearing out of one of Dark Zone's ancient ruins after Link Joker was defeated for a second time, their leadership consists of mechanical dragons capable of manipulating space-time itself. Gear Chronicle sends enemy units back to the deck and bind their units to call stronger ones. However, most effects of Gear Chronicle units revolve around doing this, and they have a weak early game as most of their skills are generation break. Recently, 10 new Gear Chronicle units known as zodiac time beasts appeared and started wreaking havoc all across Cray, they could have destroyed Cray but they were defeated and Cray was spared.
