Shu's pov

It was a normal day. I was wondering as it broke. I was just sitting in the bed, looking at Spryzen. As I started speaking, "Spryzen, I don't know what to do, I am not in the mood to do a jog. Something doesn't feel right!! Seems like something bad will happen. Don't know what is occurring to me... neither want to make breakfast. *sigh* I guess I have to get up now!!" 

Spryzen heard it all as he replied to me, "Shu, you should take a rest, I guess, this is the first time you don't feel to do jogging or making breakfast. Just go to school and you will feel better." 

"Guess, you are right!!" - Shu

"Hmm" - Spryzen

I got up and started to walk towards the washroom. Just went in picking up the toothbrush making me remember my family again. "God!! What the hell is wrong with me!!" I shouted as the voice echoed making me hear my voice twice, giving me a headache. I ignored it as I brushed my teeth.

Got of the washroom, went to the cupboard. As I opened it an album fell down. I reached to it seeing it was my childhood album. I opened it seeing myself as a newborn baby, a smile appeared on my face. Viewing the pics, making me remember a few painful memory when I left my mom and dad to live alone and to become a strong blader. My mom and dad gave me a stroke of good luck.

There were so many pics making me happy as well as sad simultaneously. Just then I remembered that I needed to get ready for school. I just wore my uniform as I ran towards the dining keeping the album on the table in front of the sofa.

I went to the kitchen to make an egg sandwich. As I was taking out the bread, suddenly a memory flashed on. This was ridiculous, what is happening, why am I remembering my past again and again? I just ignored that thought as I do but it was somehow a bit unusual. As it was about my family, I was a bit worried. 

I thought of calling my mom after I come back home. She must be busy with her work. I didn't know whether I should call her or not. By the way, I would call her later. I smiled to myself remembering that picture in which my mom was holding me as dad kept his hand on my mom's shoulder.

My sandwich was done and was ready to be eaten.

I ate the sandwich and washed my hands. I ran and took my bag for school and wore my shoe. I couldn't waste any time, I can practice before school. If I want to make Lui lose then I have to.

I took my cycle and rode it to school. I reached school. I saw Honcho and Wakiya running, actually, they were racing. "God!! *cough**cough* There is so much dust!!" I shouted at them as I couldn't bear dust.

"Who won Shu?" Wakiya asked as Honcho said proudly with no hint of confusion "Of course it is me!!" 

"No, it is me," Wakiya said pointing his thumb towards his chest.

"It is me" - Honcho

"No me" -Wakiya

"Me!!" - Honcho

They both started arguing, as Wakiya asked me who won. 

"I don't know as I wasn't paying any attention towards it," I said to stop them argue even after knowing that Honcho was first for 1 second.

"Ugh~ Tie!! why?" - Wakiya with a frustrated tone

"I should have won!!" - Honcho 

"Um... guys!! let's go and practice" I said to stop their conversation.

"Oh yes" - Wakiya said taking out his launcher and bey.

"I will win in this" - Honcho said challenging Wakiya precisely.

" Hey!! aren't I gonna battle?" - I said in confusion from their act.

"Yes, you battle me, cause he is weak. This time I will win and that is for sure" - Wakiya said appreciating himself.

" You can't be that sure," I said getting a bit annoyed.

" So let's start" - Honcho said as we went to the rooftop.

" So, I will be the referee," I said as they both nodded.

" 3...2...1 Let It R-" We all got cut off by Valt who was shouting.

" Hey!!! wait for me!!" - Valt shouted as he ran towards us.

"Valt!!!!!" We all shouted at him for disturbing us.

"Valt!! Why did you come late?" - Honcho asked Valt with a silly tone.

"Um... actually I was coming out but I forgot to take my bag so I ran back home," Valt said while laughing a bit.

" Uh-" My voice cut off as I got that thought again, "why is my mind making me remember my family again  and again?" I asked myself but wasn't able to find an answer. I also use to see a red door which I use to enter, and I use to reach in some kind of Dark World!!

"Shu!!" Valt shouted to make me come back to this world

"Uh!?" I got shocked as he screamed making me take off my imagination

" Hey, dude? are you okay?" - Honcho said worriedly

"Yeah, are you?" - As Wakiya joined in

"Yeah, what happened?" I asked them as I was completely muddled in thoughts

"You spaced out" - Wakiya said to make me revise what had happened

"Shu!!! Are you okay? You should rest? What were you thinking?" Valt asked in a worried tone

" Yes, I am, Valt," I said even though I knew that I wasn't well

"Okay, Let's battle," Valt said happily jumping around Honcho and Wakiya

"Sorry, but I guess it is your class time" - Principal Shinoda said making everyone except me gasp

"Um... I guess I have to go now" I said as I swiftly slide them and went to the staircase. Others were still annoyed. I was getting down the stairs as that thought came. First I was seeing my family, mainly my mom, and now my dream world which is as disgusting as a dustbin.

Those dirty spirits and that red door that I see, make me feel that my soul is out. I draw those drawing a few times. I went to my class thinking these weird things. I sat down to see that there was a letter.

That letter was from Lily~

Hey, Shu!!

Hope you are well. Just wanted to ask that, will you help me with my homework? Actually, I was absent for a few days, just needed help. I choose you because you are the best student in our class and school. Come to my home after school. If you are busy then just give me the notes!! Bye-Bye!!

I read the letter as Lily looked at me with a smile. I took my notebook out as I wrote that I would help her and give notes. If she has any problem she can call me.

She was very happy as I said that I would help. She only had one friend which was me. She was really nice and polite but too shy to talk. No one talked with her so I did. She was a new student in our class.

Valt came in with that silly face as he sat near the window. It was a bit shocking that Lily didn't talk with Valt but did with me and neither Valt did. What was going, almost the whole school knows him as he always act so friendly. 

Everyone knows me because of some other reason which everyone knows. It is because I am handsome, strong, adorable for girls a few times or whatever. I also fanboy myself too much. I can be also silly.

I laughed at myself. Our Japanese mam entered as we all wished her. As she sat in her chair. She commanded us to take out our books and to guide us where did we stop. Lisa said that we had stopped on xx page no. 

Mam started teaching, I paid complete attention but Valt was looking outside. To the sky, I didn't know what he was seeing or imagining. I didn't have time to tell him as our teacher for furious. He got scolded as he always gets in return for not paying attention.

He can be so silly. Our Japanese class ended as classes continued. Valt didn't do his Maths homework so he got scolded again. After classes, we finally got a break. Valt ran towards Honcho, Wakiya, and the other friends.

"Let's eat," Valt said as he was hungry. He can also be annoying sometimes!! Really annoying!!

"Yes, I am hungry too," Honcho said joining Valt

"Do you know, I brought some beybreads as there was no time to eat" Valt said happily

"Hey, I want it," Honcho said 

"Me too," Daigo said joining this beybread eating competition

Everyone asked Valt for beybread without me. I was lost in thoughts. Those thoughts came again making me feel so um... actually, dizzy feeling. That was the worst!! These thoughts!! 

"Hey!! Shu!!!!! Are you okay?" Wakiya said shaking me as I was lost in thoughts again, we can also call that spacing out.

"Shu?" Daigo and Honcho said worriedly as I wasn't replying

"Shu!! What happened, are you okay, what's wrong? Hey!! guys, is Shu even conscious?" Valt said so worriedly that he would have called an ambulance.

I was not lost in thoughts, my soul was. My soul left my body for a few min making me feel numb. As I was, my friends shook me as a supersonic storm.

"Uh?" I said being confused

"Shu, tell us the truth," Wakiya said dominantly

"Yeah," Valt said

"Huh? I am completely fine" I said but they didn't believe me

"You are lying, this is your second time, just say that you are unwell," Wakiya said to me

"No, I am fine," I said again, lying

Wakiya and my other friends didn't believe me. Wakiya picked me up and made me sit in the chair. I said that I was fine but still they didn't. Suddenly, I felt a headache, they might be right that I am unwell. I can't literally let them win like that. What if I don't practice today? I won't be able to beat Lui. I have to, I have to beat Lui. This was the third time I was lost in thoughts.

"Shu!! come to the first-aid room with me, after having this meal, you have to take a rest" Wakiya shouted in my ears, making me feel like a wet dog.

Lily walked in and saw how they were treating me. She was a bit confused that what had gotten into them, why were they behaving like that.

"Yes Shu, this is your third time you spaced out," Valt said

This time I felt really unwell but ignored it. After the meal, they all pulled me and took me to the first-aid room. The nurse was sitting there.

"Um... hi, my friend is unwell ca you tell what has gotten into him?" Honcho said weirdly

"Ok, so hi kiddo, what is wrong with you?" The nurse asked me politely

"He won't be able to answer, he spaced out 3 times and is still telling that he is not unwell," Wakiya said raising his voice.

"Um... ok, so kid lay down, I will check you," The nurse said as she started to put sanitizer in her hands.

I was confused why is she checking me practically when the problem is mental? Got what is wrong with me. She came near me keeping her hands on my head receiving no fever. She did something which is not there in my dictionary.

She gave me medicine, I couldn't reject it as it will show rude. I took the medicine making me feel dizzy. Lastly, I could hear a few sentences.

"What is this medicine for?" Valt asked as the nurse replied, "I gave him this to pass out, I didn't give him the sleeping because he could wake up soon."

"Ohh," Valt said as Daigo nodded. "So... will he wake up until the school ends?" Daigo asked the nurse with confusion.

"Umm... not sure but he can if he has that strength to fight the medicine" the nurse answered the question "So, boys you can go and let him rest here," the nurse said as they all nodded.

"I will give him the notes," Valt said proudly as others laughed. "Are you serious?" Honcho said laughing as Valt got confused and said "Huh?"

"He is the one who always gives you the note. You always sleep in class and laterwards he gives you the notes. So, how will you give him the notes?" Daigo asked Valt making all of them laugh.

Suddenly they heard a voice "I will, I will give him because he always helps me and we are there in the same class" she was the new student who was very shy, Lily.

"Lily?" Valt asked with confusion. "Who are you?" Honcho asked Lily as Valt answered the question "She is a new student in our class and she is very shy so she doesn't talk much"

"Oh," said Daigo, "So give him the notes, at least we can rely on you," said Honcho with courage. 

They all went out leaving me in the first-aid room for rest. They forced me to, this was ridiculous. I wanted to do Beyblade after the break. Now only they will have fun and I will have to rest.

If this goes on then how will I beat Lui? These thoughts are making me forget reality. God!! I guess I talk too much when I am unconscious. Shu made me unconscious now again my soul will travel to that dirty world with those scary spirits.

That door!!! not again, that man will again force me to go through that door. Sometimes, I feel that some kind of dark spirit is trying to get over my body by eating me insidiously.

It was sending me some kind of vibes that were not that good making me always feel something bad was gonna happen. That is why that spirit was showing my family again and again. Now I was getting scared. I looked at the red door, it gave me goosebumps. I couldn't do anything.

I had this special power, which was this, my soul could get off my body and travel to this dark world. Now, no one would believe this, everyone will think that I have mental issues. If I say this to my parents then they will take me to a psychiatrist. I hate them, they won't believe me and would say I am mental.

Psychiatrists are my enemies, they don't try to understand and rather tell that person is mental. Once, I said this story to mommy and daddy but they took me to the psychiatrist, that psychiatrist gave me medicines. I never said that thing to my parents again, but I wanted to warn them. I know something bad will happen.

They will just move it aside telling it as a joke. This spirit is again bringing me closer to the red door. Suddenly, I heard that spirit saying "Come with me again. You will be happy here. Leave this world, give me this body" I did ignore but it was repeating those words again and again. Then that spirit caught me. As I was being moved by someone.

Someone shook me again and again slowly. I opened my eyes slowly, seeing the nurse worried. I whispered "Ugh?". She asked me "Are you okay kiddo, you were moving as someone caught you and you weren't able to breathe."

"Ohh *cough**sigh," I said while coughing a bit. "Dear, are you okay? You should go home" The nurse said worriedly as someone started to talk from behind "Don't let him go until the school ends or else he might start practicing again hurting his health" It was Daigo. His voice was concerned.

I rested until school ended. I remembered I had to give notes to Lily. I got discharged from that first-aid room as I ran. I ran out of the school, so none of my friends could see me, or else they might not allow me to practice. I suddenly heard Lily's voice, she said "Shu!! Where are you going?"

I answered, "Um... to your house to give notes!!", Lily said "No need, you need rest, go home and rest"

I answered " No, it is okay now, I took a rest for a long time, oh yeah, if you want I can send you the notes online", Lily asked " Huh? So, I will send you the notes online too"

"Ok" - I said, after our conversation, I went to home for getting refreshed. I got fresh as I wore another dress and went out for practice.

I went to the park stadium. Thank God!! Valt's house was not in that way, or else he would have killed me. I sat in my launching position. "3...2...1 Let It Rip," I said launching Spryzen. Spryzen landed at a great speed. It ran towards the middle. I wasn't still satisfied.

I launched him again and again. At least it was getting smoother, which I wanted. I practiced for hours. I wanted my Spryzen to be more powerful. This time I tried a new kind of launch. Placed my launcher downwards, moved it a bit right side as I launched it. This time it worked miracle.

Spryzen got very powerful. It was moving at a high speed with 10 times more strength. My Spryzen's speed got so high that it was not been able to see. I could only see that as a red light moving across the stadium continuously. I was very happy.

I was very happy to try this new way. Now, I only wanted to battle someone. Far ahead Lui was seeing me practice at night. He got a bit impressed by this launch and how hard I was working. I panted repeatedly as I heard a voice. It was Lui's.

Lui asked "You impressed me with this launch. Now it seems you are a blader at my level. Will you battle me?", I happily accepted the challenge. This was cool, it was the first time when Lui challenged me, and was impressed.

We sat at the launching position as we said "3...2...1 Let It Rip" simultaneously. I used the same launch. "Spryzen, go!!" I commanded Spryzen, "Huh, this is impressing, Luinor!!" Lui shouted. Luinor spun towards Spryzen. Spryzen got too powerful with this launch. Spryzen burst Luinor out of the stadium leaving Lui in shock.

"Wow!! you finally got two points against me" Lui said in a challenging tone. "Yeah" I replied, "Enjoy, cause I will burst Spryzen into pieces," Lui said as he made me go angry. "Nightmare Boost," said Lui.

We again sat in the launching positions as we said "3...2...1 Let It Rip" as we launched. This time I tried the left side and a miracle happened, it went wild. No one could see my bey that often which left Lui in shock again. Luinor went towards Spryzen with great speed as it tried to hit but it went through Spryzen leaving both bladers in shock. Shu finally understood why did it happen. As he launched Spryzen slanting left, the force left at a speed on the left side, and Luinor hit its right side so it moved left and came back to its position in milliseconds.

Lui got impressed and asked his heart out to Shu " How did you do that, it was fabulous", I answered Lui " It was because I launched Spryzen slanting left, the force left at a speed on the left side, and Luinor hit its right side so it moved left and came back to its position in milliseconds. That is the reason" 

Luinor again tried to hit Spryzen, but this time on the right side. Again the same happened. Shu wasn't able to understand what happened this time. The only logic which was roaming his mind was, the new Spryzen which he built just a few days ago was built with some special logic. Spryzen looks symmetrical while its inner base's right side is placed forward while the left backward. This makes this bey so special.

Somehow, I managed to knock Luinor out of the stadium but it affected my bey too. Spryzen also flew outside the stadium and this match was a tie. Lui couldn't believe his eyes. He had never seen a bey like this before. "The bey you made recently has some very special power and skills, if you train harder then you might be so powerful that no one will be near your level, now it depends on the person. If that person only uses logic to make his bey, he might not be successful to utilise its power. If someone can then as I told you. I have seen that fire on you, train hard and you will succeed, you are the first who made me feel this excited for the battle. You have reached a level of the mine and you were the first to show this kind of magic from your bey. I can tell that you are very close to your bey. The bey of yours is special. You, I and Free have a strong spirit bey. That spirit is good but there are some spirits which are evil, like Phi."

I was completely shocked. He said "I guess you are exhausted, let's sit, and it is the night" I nodded as I sat down. I asked him "Do you live with your parents?", Lui said, "Yes, with my mom" I got confused, what about his dad? "So what about your dad?" I asked him as he replied in a low tone " He died, he died because of..." " It is okay, you don't have to say, and I am very sorry for your dad." I said to calm him down "*sigh* You live alone, right" Your mom and dad don't spend time with you, right?" he asked me to change the topic "Um... yeah but how did you know?" I asked him as he replied "I heard Valt saying this. He was chattering with that Lolipop and Rapunzel guys" I replied "Oh, you mean Honch and Wakiya. *laughs* BTW, you got the right point" 

"Was it funny?" he asked, "Of course, it was" I replied. "Oh, actually no one laughs at my talk. First, when I was a child, I was very happy and use to make others laugh but from the time my Dad died I became arrogant, rude, and whatsoever. Then no one use to laugh. I started to stay away from people. I started to keep by myself. You are the first who laughed" he said in a sad tone.

"Hey!! you can tell me anything you want, at least I am not like the person who you imagine I am" I said to cheer him up " and Btw if Valt saw me here today then I was dead" I said to change the topic. "Huh?" he got confused, I started speaking "Actually, today I spaced out 3 times for which my friends got worried and took me to the nurse who gave me passing out pills. I passed out and when I woke the school was and I ran towards my home so nobody could see me as after that I came to practice here", "Oh" He laughed.

This was the first time I saw him laughing his heart out. I smiled as we talked. He looked happy to have a new friend to talk to. He had gotten introverted but somehow he changed today. I was happy for him. After talking, I asked him to give his no. as he gave me happily. We both said goodbye and left towards our homes.

This is the first time I wrote something this long, 4117 words. Btw, I hope you liked it, don't worry, this was only the beginning the real thing is going to come. This is a new year's special horror book!! I am impressed by the movie Insidious part 1!
