Chapter 17 blood of a tratior

Anakin was sick of debate. The council had been endlessly discussing how to confront the Chancellor with no real results.
He was tired of waiting. He wanted to attack now, to capture the man who had been pulling the strings of the clone wars. Anakin has never been so confused in his life. Chancellor Palpatine, the man who had been like father to him for so many years, a sith? Anakin couldnt help feeling hurt and betrayed personally as well as collectively. All he did know, was that he wants to make Palpatine pay.
The Jedi knew everything. They had Kodah probing Dooku's mind nonstop. The extent of the corruption they found was terrifying. All the Jedi were duly cowed by the realization of how they had been deceived. But all Anakin felt was anger, the man who had been a father-figure most of his life, a traitor.
He rubbed his head and tried to meditate
From his position outside the council chambers. He didn't get far however, because the door burst open with more noise than necessary and Kodah stumbled through.
Her hair was damp around her brow, and her eyes had a very odd, fuzzy quality about them.
She staggered over to him, opened her mouth to speak; and her knees promptly gave way.
Anakin reached forward and caught her against his chest. "Whoa what happened to you?" He asked. She mumbled something and finally said. "Probing minds is not as easy as it looks. Once is fine, this many times is enough to make me go crazy. I have a serious headache." Anakin sighed. "They shouldn't push you like that." Yet an other thing to be annoyed with the council about. "Did you find anything else out." "Well" she hesitated. "Just more details. The basic plot is all but uncovered at this point. How is the Evac of the lower levels going?" "So far, we haven't had anymore deaths." Anakin said. "But we can't keep evacuating people forever. The council needs to just give us clearance so we can end this." Kodah rolled her eyes. "Typical. The assembly is to busy working out the little details to help the people. I've seen things like this before. On Savosa," she said responding to his curious expression. "I wasn't a total hermit. I've seen a lot of things. Some patterns repeat themselves. Sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands." There was a weight to her gaze. He could see what she was implying. "Do you think we could pull that off?" He asked. She nodded. "At this point, we have to try."
They both suddenly realized that Kodah was still leaning against Anakin. They jumped apart quickly and an awkward silence followed. Kodah broke it saying, "tonight, we find this Chancellor and get the blood" "What about the force artifact?" Anakin asked. "You have a lightsaber?" She gestured to his belt. "Yes" "then there we go. That's all need. Once we have those 3 things, a lightsaber, the casters blood, and me, I can open a portal." "To where?" He asked. "To the NercoLands. We have to find the Nercolandian Zurichrest. At the Zuricrest will be an Alter. If we pour the blood on the alter, it will give me the power to control the Demon. I can then order it back where it came from." Anakin was puzzled. "That's sound extremely difficult but surprisingly  simple." She smiled. "Sometimes the strongest magic is accomplished through simple means. We can fix this Anakin. Together." She was holding both his hands and looking into his eyes intensely. "Lets go save the galaxy."
