She looked at her reflection in the mirror and sighed. She knew she have to get married but this early? This was definitely not in her mind. She realized.

Her eyes fall on the beautiful Mehendi outfit her mother brought for her. She need to get ready but what she actually wanted was to run away from this marriage. She sighed as she heard the door opening and her mama's younger daughter entered inside making her frown.

"What are you doing here, Disha?", Kimaya asked her as Disha sat on the bed looking at her deeply.

"Do you love Jiju?", Disha asked nonchalantly which made Kimaya frown.

Disha just return back from Chennai. She took leave from her work, especially for Kimaya's marriage.

"What kind of stupid question is that?", Kimaya asked her with a deep frown covering her forehead.

"Can't you just answer a simple question?", Disha asked with irritation evident on her face.

"Just because you are one year older than me doesn't mean you are going to behave like that with me. Decrease your tone when you are talking to me", Kimaya warned her making Disha laugh humorlessly.

"Why are you marrying him Kimaya? Is it his money which is attracting you but I thought the great Kimaya was having enough to live a luxurious life even sitting at home", Disha said in a taunting way.

"I do have enough. I don't need anyone's money. If I am having enough, doesn't mean I would sit idle whole my life", Kimaya said in a no-nonsense tone as Disha scoffed at her words.

"Why don't you just leave this guy for me then? He is what I always wanted in my life", Disha said as Kimaya stared at her deadly from the mirror gritting her teeth.

"Like how? Please explain?", Kimaya asked glaring at her.

"Rich. Handsome. Powerful...", Disha started only to get cut by Kimaya who stood up from her place.

"No", She stated making Disha frown.

"What are you talking about?", Disha asked taken aback by the harsh tone Kimaya used with her.

"If you know me so well, Disha, you should know what is mine, it always stays mine only. Either I love that person or not but the man you are talking about made me wear his name ring and we are getting married tomorrow ", Kimaya said showing her ring finger. Disha stood up in anger wanting to say something when Kimaya showed her palm to her.

"I am giving you the freedom to talk to my fiance. Try your level best. If he fell for you before 12 o'clock. Even if he showed minimal interest in you I would say no to this marriage", Kimaya said and with a flick of her hand, she asked her to leave.

"Aren't you too much confident? Is it your beauty, your arrogance, or your stupidity", Disha asked as Kimaya smirked.

"It's better to leave him earlier than later. I can never trust a cheater, living together is a different thing", Kimaya told her motioning her to leave immediately before she loses her calm.

Disha smiled evilly before walking out.

Kimaya's smirk disappeared as she sat on the bed holding the bed rest tightly. It was her trust which was going to be tested today not his loyalty. She had trusted him more than she ever did anybody.

She will still hope that he stands on his words and prove his loyalty to her.

She sat in her place ready to get the henna applied on her hand after getting ready.

The occasion was taking place at her house only because her mother thought that the fragrance of henna attracts negative powers. It wasn't like Kimaya was having any problem with anything. She wanted to distract herself from Disha and what happened in her room.

She looked around to find everybody walking here and there but couldn't find Disha anywhere which made her sigh. Was she putting trust in somebody who never deserve this?

She pouted as she looked at Shivani who sat beside her with a bright smile. Shivani was Disha's sibling but she always loved Kimaya the most after all she was the youngest of all and the cutest as well.

She remembers the day she first saw her. She asked her mother to show her the little princess they all were talking about. She was like the happiness of the house. Everybody was gushing about the beauty and luck she brought with herself. As soon as she was born, her family won a big case in court which made them earn a lot of money.

She was the cutest baby anybody saw in the whole family. She was born late with big brown eyes, a cute nose, super chubby cheeks, and pink lips along with her curly brown hair which changed to straight hair as she grew up.

"Why are you looking at me like this?", Kimaya asked Shivani who smiled at her words.

"What way?", Shivani asked pulling her cheek.

"Like you are going to eat me", Kimaya said making a face that made her look cuter.

Shivani laughed at words before caressing her cheeks. She saw Mehendi artist working on Kimaya's hands and feet.

"You are happy with this marriage right?", Shivani asked as Kimaya frowned at her words.

"You asked this question sooner than I expected. I thought you are going to ask this when I would give birth to 4 to 5 kids", Kimaya said with frustration as Shivani laughed.

"4 to 5 kids. You know what it means", Shivani asked as Kimaya pouted.

"You love him right", Shivani asked which made Kimaya freeze at her place.

"Why are you talking about this useless thing", Kimaya asked in frustration not wanting to talk about this.

"What is useless in this?", Shivani asked not understanding what was wrong with her.

"This love in itself is useless. It has destroyed so many lives. Don't you know it? Don't you read it in the newspaper and I don't want to feel something this useless in my life ever", Kimaya said looking at the design the artist was making in her hand.

"This is not like this Kimaya", Shivani tried to make her understand.

"Love is something people use against each other as a weapon and imagine if somebody falls in love then they stay hopeful for 2 to 3 years, promise so many things to each other than their family arranges their marriage with somebody else. There are tears and melodrama and finally, in the end, you do what your family asked otherwise a tragic ending to your life. If everything went right then somebody turns out to be poor. End of the story", Kimaya stated her facts.

"In that case, luck is also needed with love", Shivani said as Kimaya shook her head.

"I can never understand these things, you know that very well. I am a very practical person. I don't do well with showing my emotions", Kimaya said ending the topic immediately.

"Don't you love your parents, Kimaya? Don't you love me", Shivani asked as Kimaya looked at her.

"See Shivani, you are a great sister and I respect you a lot but I don't know what is love. I would just say I think I am thankful to everybody for taking care of me. I don't know about love", Kimaya said as Shivani sighed. She stood up to leave only to be stopped by Kimaya.

She thought Kimaya is going to correct herself but her next word made her think again.

"Get henna applied on your hands as well. It will take time for it to get dry. I need to dance as well", Kimaya said without looking at her too lost in her mehendi design.

"When you don't love him, why are you dancing and showing you are happy?", Shivani asked more like scolded her.

"I did dance in everybody's wedding then why not in mine. I am getting married only once. I don't care about the future. I want to enjoy my day today", Kimaya said looking directly into Shivani's eyes.

"What if Randhir fell in love with you?", Shivani said sitting beside her.

"He is having right on my body after the marriage but marriage doesn't mean I am forced to love him as well. He can have all husband rights on me except this love because I don't do love", Kimaya whispered in her ears.

"Love happens Kimaya. You don't have to do it", Shivani said as Kimaya shook her head.

"I don't want to talk about this thing right now", Kimaya said not leaving any room for discussion.

-----------------

The henna was drying as she enjoyed the loud music but suddenly the thought of everything Disha said crossed her mind. She took a deep breath before standing up. She inspected her henna, it was almost dried. She walked to her room wanting some solitude right now.

She started walking here and there worrying when she heard a knock on the door.

"Come in", She instructed.

Shivani walked inside with Kimaya's phone in her hand.

"Somebody is calling you", Shivani said pointing at the phone.

"Who is it?", Kimaya asked walking to her looking at her phone immediately identifying the number immediately.

"Shivani, help me attend it", Kimaya said pointing at her earphones. Shivani nodded before helping her attend the phone. After this, she left knowing well that her little sister needed privacy.

"Hello", Kimaya spoke. Her voice was shivering as she felt tears prickling her eyes.

"What game are you playing?", He stated in a cold tone.

"What are you talking about?", Kimaya asked being curious about what he was talking about.

"Where are you?", He asked straightforwardly.

"Why are you asking this? It's my Mehendi. Of course, I am at home", Kimaya said worriedly.

"Than who is sending me those messages", he asked as she frowned.

"I don't know what you are talking about. Which message?", Kimaya asked with a frown.

"Nothing. Enjoy the celebration", He was about to hang up when she spoke.

"Is there something I don't know or I should know", Kimaya said understanding what was happening.

"Nothing. You just think about getting ready for tomorrow's ritual", He stated as she frowned.

"You are not going to talk to me like that", Kimaya told him sternly as Randhir took a deep breath.

"Ms. Maan, there are many things in the world which I am not comfortable sharing with you", he told her hanging up as she huffed not knowing what he meant.
