Hope wordlessly shouldered a witch out of the way to get in front of Penelope. The witch glared at her but didn't dare say anything.

"One spell," Hope said, handing the brunette the messy pages. "And one soon-to-be-monster." She dropped the wet clay onto the table in front of Penelope.

"You did all this in one night?" Penelope's eyebrows shot up as she stared at the blob of clay in equal parts disgust and awe. If anyone could do it, Hope Mikaelson could, but Penelope had anticipated needing to prod the humanityless witch along.

"What? Like it's hard?" Hope tilted her head and blinked slowly.

The corners of Penelope's mouth turned down thoughtfully. She leafed through the pages, glancing over Hope's work. "Guess not for a Mikaelson."

"There's one more thing I want in return," Hope said boldly. She crossed her arms and looked down at Penelope.

"What?"

"Stay off MG's back. He has the bloodlust under control."

"I'll tell you what." Penelope pulled herself to her feet. "I'll stay off MG's - and your - back if he doesn't kill another person. Ever. Deal?"

Hope shrugged and stuck out her hand without hesitation. "Deal."

"It's been a pleasure doing business, Mikaelson."

"Back at you, Park." Hope turned on her heel and headed back through the hallways of her school.

She closed her door behind her, crossing her arms and leaning against it as she watched the boy in her bed sleep. Color had returned to his face and the veins had been slowly fading since she gave him her blood this morning, but he still hadn't woken up.

"MG ..." she singsonged, stepping further into her room. "MG ..."

He didn't stir. She frowned and sat at the foot of her bed. Her blood should've woken him up instantly - any blood should've, really. A little human blood and desiccated vampires were good to go.

"Hmm." Maybe that was the key. Maybe it had to be human blood. Hope pushed his hair back so she could see his face.

She could get him humans. She could get him as many humans as it took to wake him up, Penelope's stipulation be damned.
