Chapter Seven - Final Rest

After tracking down Shigaraki and Dabi, Tokoyami walked up to the hideout called them out.

Tokoyami: TOMURA SHIGARAKI! YOUR TIME IS UP!

Moments later, Shigaraki and Dabi walked outside the hideout and can't confronted Tokoyami.

Shigaraki: You look healthy for a dead man.

Tokoyami: You took everything from me. My life....my love.....you raped and murdered her.....

Shigaraki: So you've come to kill us is that it?

Tokoyami: No.... you're already dead. You just don't know it. You were dead the moment you raped my beloved Kyoka. You were dead the moment you murdered her. Now I'll make this right!

Dabi: How about we do you a favor and reunite you with her?

Shigaraki and Dabi then pulled out Mini Uzis and begin unloading on Tokoyami. The bullets ripped through Tokoyami's body as the crow watched. When they emptied their magazines, Tokoyami falls to the ground.

Shigaraki: Now why don't you stay dead this time?

Tokoyami: No......

Tokoyami got up as if nothing happened. Both Shigaraki and Dabi were horrified to see the bullet holes on Tokoyami's body began to heal as Tokoyami laughed.

Tokoyami: I am Death. I am the cruel vengeance of the fallen innocent. For your crimes.....I will send you to Hell....

Shigaraki and Dabi began viciously beating on Tokoyami. Tokoyami took the punches as he unleashes his hate and vengeance on both criminals.

Dabi: What the fuck are you?!

Shigaraki began running inside the hideout while Tokoyami fought Dabi. In the fight, Dabi pulled out a knife.

Dabi: Enough fucking games! Time to fucking die dead man!

Dabi begins slashing wildly at Tokoyami, but Tokoyami dodges the attack and stabs Dabi in the same place where Toga stabbed him.

Tokoyami: Goodbye Dabi....

With that cold goodbye, Tokoyami took the knife and stabbed Dabi in the temple and broke the blade. He then took Dabi's revolver and entered the hideout. Meanwhile, Shigaraki was trying to escape from the backdoor.

Shigaraki: Open you piece of shit!

As Shigaraki tried to open the door, Tokoyami grabbed Shigaraki and began beating him. Shigaraki tried to fight back, but Tokoyami's anger made him an unstoppable force.

Tokoyami: How does it feel Shigaraki?! How does it feel to lose everything?! Reap what you sow you son of a bitch!

As Tokoyami viciously beats down Shigaraki, he looks down on Shigaraki with hate and contempt.

Tokoyami: I have something to give to you. I don't want it anymore.

Tokoyami then place both hands around Shigaraki's face. As that happens, Shigaraki feels the collective pain of Tokoyami and Jiro from that night.

Tokoyami: Fifteen hours of pain! Fifteen hours of hell! All at one! All for you! Take it! TAKE IT ALL!

Shigaraki felt the collective fifteen hours of unspeakable pain in an instant. When it was over, Shigaraki was a broken mess. Tokoyami aimed the gun at Shigaraki. Instead of killing him, he simply dropped the gun.

Tokoyami: I killed your gang. Now I've killed you.

Tokoyami began walking away from the broken Shigaraki. As he walked away, Shigaraki took the gun and shot himself in the head. Tokoyami heard this and a smile fell on his face.

Tokoyami: (It's over. It's finally over....)

As Tokoyami left the hideout, Aizawa and a squadron of police officers arrived on the scene. Hours later, Tokoyami walked over to the graveyard and to his grave. He got on his knees and sat against his tombstone. His eyes grew heavy as the rain poured down around him. When he opened his eyes, he saw the spirit of his beloved Jiro dressed in white.

Tokoyami: K....Kyoka....

Jiro: Fumikage....it's okay....you don't have to hang on any longer.

Tokoyami: I....I've missed you my love....

Jiro: Let go Fumikage. I'm waiting for you my love.

Jiro held out her hand to the tired and weary Tokoyami. He had longed to see her face and hold her in his arms. Without hesitation, he grabbed her hand and embraced her in a tight and loving hug. For the first time in a long time, Tokoyami's heart was filled with joy.

Tokoyami: My love....is it really you?

Jiro: Yes my love. I am here. Waiting for you.

Tokoyami gazed into his lost love's eyes as tears fell down his face. Jiro caressed his face. In that tender moment, the two lost lovers kissed. The kiss seemed eternal for Tokoyami. All the rage and hate in his heart had been erased. In this moment, all that mattered was Jiro.

Tokoyami: Jiro....I.....I.....

Jiro then hushed her lover with another kiss.

Jiro: It's okay Fumikage. It's over. You don't have to fight any longer. Let go my love. Let go of your anger. Let go of your hate. Rest my love. Come with me to the other side.

Tokoyami closed his eyes and took a deep breath. For the longest time, he pined for his lost love. He pined for the life that was wrongfully stolen from him. Jiro held out her hand.

Tokoyami: Yes.....yes my love.....

Tokoyami took Jiro's hand and began walking together to the other side. As they did, the crow that had guided Tokoyami on his journey lets out a final caw and flies away. One year later, Yaoyorozu visits the graves of Tokoyami and Jiro and places a rose on each of their graves.

Yaoyorozu: Tokoyami....Jiro.....I hope you've found peace together.

As Yaoyorozu paid her respects to the two lost lovers, the crow flew to Tokoyami's tombstone and was perched on it. Yaoyorozu simply smiles as she leaves the graveyard, knowing that Tokoyami's soul was a rest and reunited with his lost love.
