Chapter 31
"He’s going to be here tonight I guess." Alec sighed getting ready for the evening and Hao flashed him a small smile as he nodded. "Look, Alec, I know you hate to admit it but he got under your skin and I’ve known you long enough to be able to tell. I know why you push these things away and I actually admire you for it but sometimes you have to let the other person decide on their own what they can handle and what can't." Hao knew even though Alec hated it he couldn't deny that he was indeed sensitive about certain topics and this was surly one of them. Alec had his back turned to Hao putting his work clothes in his desk and took a few seconds to think. Alec was an impulsive person and in some scenarios he acted out of anger and emotion but in others he was thoughtful and considerate. It always depended on if this person meant something to him or if it was just another leaf that had fallen to the ground in autumn. "You were right about not wearing the blue tie but you’re not right this time. This time I need to protect a young soul from getting hurt." Alec was being honest with him because Hao never left a conversation not mattering how angry Alec got at him. Hao always helped Alec even he usually didn't appreciate the help at first. "No matter what you do you can always talk to me, alright Buddy?" Hao loved Alec like a brother but he was scared to lose him because Alec was constantly dancing in front of the gates of hell. He was reckless and careless. Death didn't scare him and he knew that if Alec had to choose between shooting himself or any other human he loved Alec wouldn't hesitate to put the bullet through his skull. Alec would jump straight into a firing rain of gun shots to protect the ones he loved. In a raid he was the first one to go in and Hao would never forget what the 20 year old boy told him during their first misson. Alec looked him straight in the eye and said he wasn't scared because he had nothing to lose. He looked him dead in the eye and had said it like a part of his soul had died years ago and when he said death was only an eventual peace for him. Over the years they had grown up and matured but Hao knew that Alec really had nothing he held on to and he'd through away his life in a heartbeat if the slightest reason presented itself. Maybe that was what Alec was afraid of. Maybe that was his fear. Something that brought so many other people joy and happiness. Maybe Alec was afraid of having something to hold on to. "Thanks, Champ. Let's go before Matteo thinks you forgot about him." Alec chuckled not wanting to discuss this anymore but only because he needed a bit of time to get this mess cleared up. "Yeah we should go... just one more thing. Talk to him and at least explain why you rejected him... he’s so young and you know how confusing it is." Hao asked Alec this in the hope that a face to face confrontation would cause a change of mind. Alec inhaled deeply and rolled his eyes but gave in rather quickly because he'd hated it if the club where he usually found peace in was filled with such an unbearable tension. "Perfect! Than let's go and enjoy a good night with our subs, shall we?" Hao cheered pulling Alec to the main room of the club which was already filled with people but once Alecs eyes landed on Magnus every other person in the room disappeared. The blasting music overtoned the laughing of the people and Magnus turned around feeling himself be watched. Magnus had to gulp hardly when he saw Alec in his tight black leather pants and the black shirt hugging his body perfectly. Their eyes were fixed on each other and neither could find the strength to disconnect the gaze. Magnus shyly rose his hand and gave Alec a short awkward wave which made Alec smile. Magnus didn't know if it was only because of the distance but he could swear that for the first time he saw a smile that actually reached Alec’s eyes. "Master, Alec! It's nice to see you." Matteo exclaimed his arm wound through Haos left and Alec chuckled. "Good evening, Matteo. You're all okay?" Alec asked with a raised eyebrow being glad that the boyfriend of his best friend didn't have to see what happened with Samuel. "Yup! All fine... Master, can I pretty pretty please dance with the others for a bit longer?" Matteo pleaded with his huge puppy dog eyes and Hao rolled his in response with a smile drawn on his lips. "Sure but be there before the show starts or you will get punished, Pet." Hao replied as he wiggled his eyebrows and Matteo giggled. "Matteo, could you please tell Magnus that I'd like to talk with him." Alec asked knowing that if he wouldn't do it now he'd avoid this for the rest of his life and only make it more complicated. "Sure. Love you, Master." Matteo exclaimed placing a short kiss on Haos lips before he ran off to the other subs who were waiting for him. "You are too nice to him." Alec chuckled as he crossed his arms over his chest and Hao nudged his side with his elbow. "Just wait till you fall in love. They just have to use their huge puppy eyes and you can't say no." Hao replied shrugging a bit and Alec shook his head laughing out loud about the idea of himself falling in love which obviously would never happen. His laughter died though when he saw a beautiful young man pushing through the crowed dance floor and it was none other than Magnus. "You wanted to talk... Master?" Magnus voice sounded nervous and more quiet but hell Alec loved it. He almost got an full on erection when Magnus just simply called him Master. Magnus wore black skinny jeans and a black shirt but Alec could definitely see him walking around with nothing else other than black leather shorts that showed off his ass. "Yes... let's do that in my private room, though." Alec answered his heart starting to fasten it’s beat. As they walked to his room all he could think was 'Damn...’//tbc
