Magnus’ heart was slamming against his chest as Alec started walking towards him. As Alec continued to take steps that decreased the space between them his breath caught in his throat and his heart stop completely when he felt Alecs perfect lips on his own. He was shocked at first but only needed a second to melt into the other. Alec didn't know what had taken him over because he wasn't being rough or fighting for dominance. He didn't even have to fight since Magnus was giving him everything without being asked.

Magnus couldn't believe he was kissing the guy he hadn’t stopped dreaming about, the guy who had turned his whole world upside down. Alec placed his hands on Magnus hips holding him gently yet firm as Magnus shyly wound his arms around Alec’s neck. It was weird how Magnus had only ever done this once yet with Alec he seemed to just fit in place and feel completely natural. Alec was taking the lead, softly moving his lips over Magnus’ the slight stubble of his beard tickling Magnus’ chin and his thumbs continued to brush over his hipbones. Magnus was feeling two things currently, first there was this tingling in his stomach and second, the loss of all reality.

Alec had absolute euphoria pulsing through his body, kissing Magnus felt like he could be gentle and still enjoy everything. Kissing Magnus was like finding a piece of him that he had been lost ages ago and he was starting to get carried away. He didn't want to kiss Magnus... he needed to. He didn't want to admit that Magnus affected him in any way at all, but he did, there was no denying it and Alec hated that. He hated how the boy gave him feelings he thought he had locked out of him for good and yet at the same time he craved for more.

Magnus’ moan echoed in their mouths while the kiss lasted for not more than a moment even though for Alec and Magnus it felt like forever. But then all too suddenly Alec yanked his face away. "I... uh... we should head out." Alec blurted, his mind foggy and clouded yet still knowing he had to get a grip on himself or things would get out of control all too soon. He couldn't allow himself to grow comfortable with Magnus because if he did feel that way he would get hurt. He would get hurt and he would end up hurting Magnus. Magnus stood there totally perplexed and took a deep breath still feeling as though he was in a complete separate world.

He felt like his soul had left his body and he couldn't move for what felt like hours when it was only a few mere seconds. Alec stepped out of the backdoor at the end of the hallway and stood on the pavement feeling like a broken shard of glass; ferocious yet delicate like he could break. He felt the cool night air wash over him as he sucked in a sharp breath rubbing his forehead. How the hell could he let himself get out of control like that? It was like he had no hold over his body and he hated that. He hated how Magnus made him do things he had no say in.

"Where is the boy?" Hao asked suddenly standing right next to Alec but if you thought this would make Alec flinch you were wrong. It took a lot more than someone suddenly standing behind him to startle Alec. To do that you would probably have to rip the door open to hell. "In my room... I just needed fresh air." Alec answered his eyes fixed on his car in the parking lot as Hao rose an eyebrow. "Why are you in need of fresh air? What did you do?" Hao asked a bit concerned for his partner but Alec wasn’t just his co-worker he was also his friend.

"Nothing." Alec answered sounding a little annoyed but also thoughtful and Hao frowned at him waiting for an honest answer. "I kissed him okay... I fucking kissed him." Alec exclaimed his voice a mix of both a whisper and a shout making Haos jaw land on the concrete. He looked at Alec shocked before his face slowly softened and placed a hand on Alecs shoulder. "Feelings are weird huh?" Hao asked smiling slightly even Alec couldn't see it since he didn’t dare look at Hao.

 "Emotions are nothing but a distraction... you may be ruled by them but I was taught to control them." Alec said codly as he turned around and left Hao alone in the empty parking lot. Hao knew Alec’s past had left him with lots of scars but he was also still walking around with open wounds. Maybe he was totally wrong about Magnus. Maybe what he told Alec at first about Magnus was utterly wrong. Magnus sat on the bed waiting for Alec to return not knowing what to do his mind running over their kiss.

"Get up. I'll bring you home." Alecs voice snapped Magnus out of the whirlwind he had created for himself and without hesitation he did what Alec wanted. There was nothing but absolute silence when they walked out the back door and Magnus just decided to silently follow Alec to his car. The 10 minute long silence during the car ride was slowly killing Magnus because all he wanted was Alecs attention. Was he stupid? Magnus had never so badly wanted attention from anyone but now he was felt like he needed it. He wanted Alec to smile at him or for just one simple word to fall from his lips.

All Alec seemed to be doing though was staring ahead at the road. Their kiss playing in his mind on repeat to death. Was it just meaningless? No. He could feel Alec wasn't that kind of person. "I'm sorry for the trouble." Magnus apologized staring at his lap and Alec sighed. "I don't know why you came to the club or why you came to look for me but you need to forget it whatever it is. I'm not the person you think I am and I'd only give you hell if you get close. Get me out of your head and forget me as fast as you can." Alec answered the little voice in his head yelling at him to take everything back but after all it was just a little helpless voice in the back of Alec’s mind.

Magnus swallowed hard. He knew he had no chance with a stunning guy like Alec but hearing it still hurt. Being rejected by the person you had such strong feelings for was awful but being rejected the way Magnus was felt like he had been torn from a chance at a normal happy life just for himself like other people had where he didn’t need to worry about bill and pay checks or if his dad had gotten home safe. Magnus knew from their kiss that Alec must have wanted him.

Alec wanted him but what was holding him back? There were secrets Magnus figured but everyone had their own hidden bits about themselves. But soon he would find some secrets he never knew could exist...//tbc
